Really good system. Still fairly new to me and lots of get my head around but the team are super helpful to answer any questions to have and always quick. Sent a question to support yesterday, Jack replied within 5 mins with a detailed explanation which explained everything I needed to know. We’ve been using Inventory Planner for around six or seven years now across multiple Shopify stores, and it’s become a core part of how we manage stock. The replenishment suggestions save a significant amount of time and the forecasting has become more accurate over the years. Like any software it has its quirks, but the overall value it provides to our buying process is hard to argue with. The team have also been helpful whenever we’ve had queries.

Sage promised us they could do all sorts of things for our company but Months in we have nothing to show for our investment. The employees menat to onboard us kept switching and were poorly trained so they had no idea what sage can do, training took months and 6 months later we still have no idea how to use their system. They or course won't agree to refund or extend our contract for the months of incompetency on their end. Which is fine since we likely would not want to renew. Nothing works, no clarity. Assuming many of the 5 star reviews are fake.

We integrate Inventory Planner with our own system through the API, for purchase orders and warehouse transfers. The API is solid and the docs are clear.

Support is the highlight. When we ran into an issue with webhooks, Teresa took the ticket, got the engineers involved, and came back with a real answer and a fix within days, following up until everything was confirmed on our side. Fast, direct, and competent.

I really can't fault IP and IP support. Super fast response, and Jordan pin-pointed my issue straight away and resolved it.

Staff are helpful & knowledgeable. Onboarding was made easy. IP works well across multiple locations and across national boundaries too. Our stock management has improved reducing over stocking and reducing over buying of slowing lines.

Inventory Planner is an exceptional service. It's really helped us to get into the heart of our SOH and forecasting.

It’s very easy to set up, and the forecast settings are easy to adjust. All in all, a good option for e-commerce.

I had some difficulties about getting the accurate forecast numbers and Jordan figured out what the issue was and explained to me via video call. It was really helpful. I think I know what my team should do from now on.

We’ve had a really positive experience with Inventory Planner. It’s a great platform with excellent reporting, strong PO management, and the ability to easily create transfers. We’ve been able to utilise it in many different ways across our business, making it a really valuable tool for our team. The chat bot is also really helpful for troubleshooting general enquiries, and the customer support has been fantastic. A special shout-out to Chan, our Customer Service Manager, who genuinely cares and always goes above and beyond to help. Most enquiries are addressed quickly, which makes a big difference.
The only downside for us is the time difference between Australia and the UK if we need to speak to someone directly, although most issues are resolved promptly. It would also be great to see improved sync times and performance during peak times. Overall, we’re very happy with Inventory Planner and the support we receive.

We run a curated DTC outdoor and lifestyle catalogue, so buying decisions are unforgiving — get it wrong and you're either sitting on dead stock or out of your best sellers. Inventory Planner has made those calls far more confident.

The connectivity with our WMS is the foundation of it. Stock positions, inbound deliveries and sales data all flow through cleanly, so the buying recommendations are based on what's actually in the warehouse rather than a snapshot from last week. That single sync has saved us hours of reconciliation every month.

What's kept us on it is how much you can tailor. Lead times, safety stock, seasonality, replenishment rules by brand and category — nothing is locked into someone else's idea of how our business should work. We've shaped the forecasting around our own buying cycles rather than the other way round.

The customer support deserves a mention of its own. Responses are fast, come from people who clearly understand inventory planning rather than reading from a script, and they've helped us configure things properly rather than just closing tickets. That's rare.

Highly recommended for any e-commerce business that's outgrown spreadsheets.

IP team is quick in responding on questions and thinks with the customer about potential solutions. If I want to plan a meeting it often happens within the same week.

Teresa is incredible. Extremely dedicated and on top of things, with timely updates without my ever having to ask. She was even nice to me when I temporarily forgot my manners and got rude! She answered my stupid questions with patience, hustled the engineering team for a fix, and followed up with me regularly even without me pushing her. Very happy with my experience.

Inventory Planner has helped us bring much more structure to our inventory management. Before using it, a significant amount of our purchasing and forecasting was managed manually through spreadsheets. We now have a clearer view of which products need to be reordered, how much stock we should purchase and where potential inventory risks are developing.

It takes some time to understand all the reports and adjust the forecasts to the needs of your business, but the system becomes very valuable once it is properly configured.

We have also had a positive experience with their customer service. Our account manager has been helpful, responsive and willing to work with us on finding suitable solutions.

Overall, it is a useful platform that supports better and more informed purchasing decisions.

We've been using inventory planner for a while now and it has given us great insight into product sales and forecasting. We feel comfortable using this for all of our stock management and planning.
We've been provided with a lot of information to help our understanding of the system as well as navigating and tailoring the system to our needs.
We want to give a big shout out to Chan as he has always gone above and beyond when we ask questions or have issues that need fixing. With that being said the issues we have faced have been very minimal.
All round a good experience and very pleased with the system and service.
