Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.
Ingersoll watches have been sold continuously since their inception and today the Ingersoll brand is renowned the world over.

Faulty with no Gurantee!
They've been producing watches since 1892, but they only support their products from 2016 onwards! It's ridiculous.
I own an "Ingersoll I00301 Regnet", produced in 2013, which means they don't cover any problems with my watch. Currently, it's not working properly, losing about 5 minutes per day, the pushers on the right aren't functioning, the date feature is faulty, and one strap loop tore apart for no reason.
It's clear they know not to guarantee products made before 2016 :D
This isn't my only watch—I have 15 watches from different brands that work perfectly and are supported for any issues, like my Seiko 5 from 1980 and Rolex Datejust from 1990. It's disappointing that Ingersoll doesn't offer similar support for their older products or at least increase the quality.

The model reference quoted I00301 is a new generation model produced and distributed after 2016, so it is covered by a lifetime warranty if the issue is deemed be due to manufacturing failure. Been after an Ingersoll watch for years, ordered 1 from very, small discount. When it arrived, it was beautiful, but, I prefer a smaller face. I'd looked at what I thought was the same as the one I have purchased, but had a a 45cm face, the one I went for has a 38cm face, perfect.
Also, bracelet needed no alteration, so overall we'll happy, and with 50% off, cannot complain at all.

Their customer service was excelent. One of them had a malfunctioning and it was solved right away.
One promotiondidn’t work for me and they right away gave another code in order to purchase another desired watch.
