Received view master in a timely manner which gave me time to order photo reels.
Purchased for my brother's 80th bday, and he loved it. I will now make new reels for every occasion from old and new photos for him, and I know it is something he will cherish.

I had purchased from RetroViewer before- around 2024 and had a great experience, so I recently placed another order! Their reels have always turned out great for me, and the quality has been consistently excellent.

This time around I reached out with a question about my order and mentioned that I had accidentally purchased a red viewer through Amazon before realizing I could have ordered everything directly from their website and in any color. Even though that wasn’t their responsibility at all, their team kindly offered to include a black RetroViewer with my order, which I truly appreciated.

That level of customer care really stood out to me. It’s clear they care about their customers and the experience people have with their products.

Also, I placed this recent order around 2 days ago and it has already been shipped, such a plus! I’m still waiting for my order to arrive, but based on my previous purchase and the great service I’ve received so far, I’m confident it will be just as great as before. Highly recommend! - Krod

So easy and such fun!

My niece wanted photos of the grandparents, so I created this reel for her. I ordered it later than I should have, but it still came in plenty of time for her birthday, much more quickly than the time frame indicated. The creation process on the site was super-simple, and the result is beautiful.

I also bought the viewer, which is nice, but a standard View-Master viewer will work just as well and costs about the same. One difference to note: a View-Master reel has a paper coating over all but the photos. This reel is some kind of plastic all over; whether that's good or bad, I don't know, but it does allow for an extra photo in the center of the reel.

A little pricey, but I would definitely buy this again.

I really liked the finished product. The pictures were clear and it was fun to gift to my husband. Very unique. A tad pricey, especially the viewer. I felt like they scare you into buying that by not guaranteeing their reels will work in other viewers. We have two different generations of ViewMaster and they worked fine with the reels, so take that how you will.

It makes a fun gift. The images on the reel don't seem as 3D as I remember, but my friend said she loved seeing the photos through the viewer. This is a good gift to commemorate special events. It is easy to upload the images and the reel was shipped in a timely manner. This is the second one I've given as a gift and it was received with greater enthusiasm than the first.

I found and ordered the RetroViewer from Uncommon Goods as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. The ordering process was simple. There was a little technical issues when first putting together a reel, but it eventually smoothed out just fine. It may have been a computer issue on my end; I'm not sure. It wasn't long before everything came together and I was able to get everything ordered. The reels I ordered were delivered quickly and made for a perfect gift!

This is my 3rd year making a disc for the RetroViewer I purchased my sister. I look forward to curating the photos and our whole family enjoys looking at them. The uploading and formatting process is easy and I always receive my disc well before Christmas. I consistently recommend this as a gift.

I ordered a viewer and four reels of a recent tip to Italy, Spain, and France. It's a Christmas gift which will be opened tomorrow - and I can't WAIT to see my wife's face when she sees the viewer and the pictures. I had a quick question which was answered almost immediately with friendliness and accuracy, the finished product arrived BEFORE it was promised, and I was able to take advantage of a deal (buy three reels, get one free). The viewer and all reels came carefully wrapped in a box, and was easy to inspect (it was all perfect) and wrap. I'm writing this review on Christmas Eve because I am so excited to give this gift to my wife. I will definitely keep my account at RetroViewer and create more reels - what a fantastic and nostalgic way to share memories!

I have been buying from you guys for the last eight years which is as long as my boyfriend and I have been together. For our first anniversary, I bought a retro viewer and a reel and been buying a new reel for every year. This product came insanely quick, I ordered 2 custom reels and a viewer, the price is comfortable for the quality! But wow I'm just amazed by how cute it is, ordered it as a gift for my brother and his wife since they just welcomed their first child a few months back. I made a reel for each side of the family, ours and hers, cannot wait to give this to them for Christmas!!! This is such a cool and unique way to keep important and precious moments cherished.

Absolutely stellar people and wonderfully fun product! I needed a large rush order placed for a memorial service and they were so kind and helpful when speaking with me on the phone (a real live human picked up—such a rarity!). Truly a pleasure to do business with this bunch (special shout out to Michael). Plus, how fun are these?! I’ve given them as gifts before and people love them, of course, but they make excellent additions to gatherings, too.

The product is great! It's such a personal and unique gift. I love the photo reels and my husband is going to be so excited when he opens his gift. They turned out beautifully and the pictures are clear. But the website could work more smoothly. I'm currently trying to make another reel and having so much trouble loading and previewing that I'm a little afraid to order in case it doesn't turn out like the others did.
