An unparalleled journey began when I undertook my face-to-face CELTA at IH London. Not only has it refined my existing pedagogical skills that I have delivered for nearly two decades, it also has enhanced my ability to deal with multilingual learners coming from a variety of backgrounds.

I flew from Bangladesh to London only to attend my CELTA, and it was one of the wisest decisions I made. I made a global teacher network as I came across numerous participants from several countries. I truly appreciate the way my trainers used to conduct input sessions and observe the TPs in a detailed scrutiny.

CELTA at IH London is synonymous with confidence and credibility that is worth every penny and time spent!

I enjoyed every minute of my face-to-face CELTA course at IH London, even though it was so intense at times that I literally had no time off that month. Our tutors, Garth and Marianne, were very professional, supportive, and knowledgeable. The course equipped me with useful teaching techniques and deepened my understanding of how to make the teaching/learning process more learner-centric.

Excellent teachers! Effective method tailored to our needs. Pleasant and friendly atmosphere, time flew by! Nice location, with everything within a short walking distance.

My experience at IHL has been excellent so far. I truly enjoy the positive atmosphere and the cooperative group environment. The tutors are very professional and always give clear instructions and constructive feedback, which motivates me to learn and develop further.

Every morning, I was very excited to be a student again and go to the classroom with great joy.
It felt difficult to speak English after a long time, but the excellent class relieved my tension and made me feel happy. I am especially grateful to the teachers who taught me. Everyone sincerely cared for the students and guided them with passion!

IH is a great place to meet new people, learn about different cultures, and take part in a variety of activities through its social program. In that sense, the experience is very positive.

However, the learning experience is not at the same level. It’s not bad, but it’s not the best either. Studying General English at IH can sometimes feel random and repetitive, and you don’t always get the opportunity to develop all language skills equally. Your learning experience also depends heavily on the teacher you are assigned.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time at IH and don’t regret going there. At the same time, I don’t think I would choose IH again.

At upper intermediate level Italian, it is not easy to find a course at the right level. International House offer multiple levels of multiple languages, so I found just the right one. I was also able to do the course on-line from my home in Yorkshire. The teaching was structured and well-organised and there were lots of opportunities to talk Italian, which is what I wanted.

Celeste is a great teacher and encourages practice and learning from mistakes. Very positive and I learned a lot from her classes!

This school is a very good school. The atmosphere is very nice. The cafeteria is also very good. You can sit there, do your homework, and buy very tasty food. For example, the orange juice was very delicious. Sometimes the oranges come from Egypt and sometimes from other countries, and they tasted really good. There were also healthy snacks and sandwiches. There were many different things you could buy.

The reception staff were very friendly and always helpful. Now about the teachers: in every school there are good teachers and not so good teachers, and this school is the same. From my experience, I had three teachers. Two of them were very good, and one was okay. It always depends on the teacher, and I only had each teacher for one week, so it was hard to really know them well.

But in general, it is a very good school. The teachers are friendly and really try to help students. For example, in my situation, one teacher took care of moving me to a higher level. He saw that I deserved to go one level higher and organized everything for me. I was moved to the higher level, and I really appreciated that. It was very helpful, and I am very thankful. I had a wonderful experience at the school. Academically, I found the team to be very professional. Our teacher, Alex, was amazing. He was very helpful, supportive, patient, humorous, encouraging, and truly educational. In addition, the history tour we did with Michael was truly unforgettable. All the staff at the school were both friendly and very helpful. I would like to thank everyone for all the support they provided during the four weeks I spent in London.

The teacher who is well experienced and organized. Always prepared with her lesson and manoeuvers the lesson forward with expertise.

This is the first time I have had a language class in a language school, and the experience it gave me is very interesting.I like Jess very much,I like her blackboard writing and the way of expansion very much. The content is very full and vivid.
In fact, there are some places that can be promoted.For example, In the process of learning, I found that many students' English level is still different.Of course, I am not a professional, just a personal feeling.
For me, the overall feeling is still very good, and I hope to have time to come back again next year and continue to study.
