Thank you for your comments and I am sorry to hear that you found the interview experience demotivating. It is surprising to read a comment on this forum which is not related to the quality of our services. Trustpilot themselves have stated their mission as "...bringing customers and businesses together...". In 2024, we received almost 3,000 feedback questionnaires from our students where over 98% said they would recommend St Giles International to other students.
Regarding your complaint, all invitations to interviews with the CEO are made by his PA, whose position is clearly denoted. As regards the process of the interview, you appear to take exception to it, and perhaps there has been a misunderstanding.
The purpose of asking about the candidate’s knowledge of the JD at the start of the interview is to check the candidate’s understanding of the position and the basic terms before proceeding. Furthermore, we recognise that a more common technique is to allow an interviewee to give what can be considered by the interviewer as a “poor answer" without responding. The difficulty with this process for interviewees is that they are not given a second chance to improve their response. I am sorry that you've found the process upsetting, but essentially it is about selecting the candidate who is best suited to the post. If you wish to make further comments about the interview process, we are very happy to engage with you further. Please feel free to contact us directly.
