Excellent service
Excellent service. I have only used it for alterations, but had a lot of garments altered and all done to a high standard. I also had a cashmere cardigan repaired and the repair was invisible. I dont tend to have a need for dry cleaning but if I did I most certainly would use them. It is so easy, so convenient, what’s not to like!

Flakey and unreliable
The cleaning is good, the delivery terrible! As a regular customer, the actual cleaning and ironing is fine, but delivery and customer service is awful. Don’t ever bank on getting your things back when you need them (which has happened to me on multiple occasions!)and customer service - what customer service!!

My washing was collected on time and delivered back on time. The washing has been done to a very high standard and folded beautifully. Also delivered in really good quality bags that can be reused for future orders or just storage of bedding etc. I am extremely impressed and have since sent away our duvets to be cleaned. I cannot recommend I hate ironing highly enough!

Lost/missing clothes - Poor handling, lack of urgency and communication
My clothes were collected on Monday 21 September. It is now more than a week later and a substantial amount of my clothing is still missing.
I NEED these clothes back. I don’t own a huge amount of clothing and use I Hate Ironing specifically because I am extremely busy and don’t have the time nor a working machine to do so myself.
I have received no proactive phone call. Every update I have received — including the information that my clothes may have been given to another customer — has only come because I repeatedly called them to find out what was happening. I have spent lunch breaks and time travelling home from work sitting on hold trying to locate my own belongings.
I was eventually told that another customer may have received my clothes. What is particularly concerning is that this does not appear to have been treated as an urgent recovery issue I should not be left waiting for another customer to identify an error or for the situation to resolve itself when an entire bag of my clothing may have been given to someone else. It’s incredibly distressing.
On 23 September, I was told the Operations Team would be contacted and that I would receive an update within 24 hours. I then had to continue chasing for information as no update was given.
The staff I have spoken to have been pleasant on the phone,but clearly unsure of what to say, as the wider internal handling has been slow, vague and lacking urgency and incredibly unprofessional. My belongings, including my underwear, remain unaccounted for and I have to hound them to find out any information. This is with the time that I do have!
I want my clothes back and I want clear, proactive communication about exactly what is being done to recover them ASAP. Not just vagueness and extension of deadlines (original one was Friday, today is Tuesday)

Dangerous drivers
I hate ironing drivers are incredibly rule and ignorant. They repeatedly park on the double red lines at the top of Cromford Road when delivering their laundry to Angel Dry Cleaners. We have politely asked them to stop as its a danger to vehicles turning into Cromford Road and also blocks access to the local ambulance station. Management, if you read this, please please please ask your drivers to obey the rules of the road when delivering/collecting - thank you

Used IHI three times but unfortunately wont use again. App UX and pick up service were excellent. Challenge was that on two occasions expensive shirts for dry clean were wash/pressed despite clear written instructions as to what was needed. This service could be great but I lost trust and feel more confident handing over face to face.

Where to even start?
Where to even start? Booked in a standard coat. It was categorised as a puffer when it isn’t. I thought no matter as long as it’s clean, but no, they didn’t follow my instructions and delivered it a day late. Bearing in mind I booked it for a specific trip, no matter hey. I messaged on the app expressing the issue with the cleaning and got ignored, fantastic service there. I then had to email to get a response, think you are starting to get the picture here. They offered to re dry clean it, but again on receipt, it wasn’t cleaned properly per the instructions. They reached out to me via email asking if things were okay with the re clean, I said no and explained why not. Lo and behold no reply. Don’t use them and don’t listen to any of the positive feedback here, you and I both know those are bought reviews.
Edit - they actually tried to have my review removed for telling the truth but Trustpilot blocked their request. Says it all!
