I recently had a full service, MOT and a hydrogen engine clean. I was very happy with everything from initially booking the car, the work they did to picking up the car. I was told the cost before booking and that was the price I paid. Top marks all round. Definately a garage you can trust.

Great garage
I was on holiday when my car started making an awful noise I called the RAC out and it turned out to be my breaks. After a phone call I was taken here they did my breaks there and then! Perfect service, lovely people I'm so grateful to them! Debbie was so kind and so helpful! Thank you

This customer came for a MOT £29.99, The vehicle a Ford Fiesta failed its MOT on a engine management light and advised on a tyre.
The customer was called after the MOT and was told of the failure and was offered a diagnostics test for £84.00 INC VAT. The customer was happy to go ahead with this and everything was fully explained.
The car was diagnosed and needed a o2 sensor there is also a bulletin for this vehicle to state that fitment of aftermarket parts would commonly still bring on the light even when replaced and would need a genuine ford part.
Once the vehicle was diagnosed we informed the customer what the car needed why it needed it and explained we need to use genuine parts we also explain to every customer if they fail a MOT or have a diagnosis with us they can then go to any different garage if they wish to complete a repair this customer was sent quotes and asked us to repair the vehicle which we did.
We were transparent with price and repairs needed at every step of the way.
We are a specialist diagnostics garage and we charge what we are worth on this occasion this is what this customer paid.
£29.99 MOT
£84.00 DIAGNOSTICS ( vehicle was scanned for codes, resistance and live data checks were performed live and grounds were checked battery cond was checked wiring was checked to ecu from sensor software was checked for updates)
02 sensor from ford £76.00
02 sensor fitting i hr £70.00 (included programming and system resets in my opinion probably under priced)
£49.00 for a landsail tyre
wheel alignment with camera setup £50.00 (tyre that was advised was worn on edge)
this came to £317.50 plus vat plus 29.99 (no vat on MOTS)
£410.99 in total.
On arrival to collect the customers partner started kicking off in reception while another lady was waiting (whom has been coming for a long time she was anger with the customer herself)
that this was expensive for this repair and he was at work at the time so his partner said yes to the work I'm sorry as the owner of this garage how is this any of my fault if you have to have a price accepted by each other then go do that if you are told every step of the way what im doing and why the price is only irrelevant afterwards i don't think this is expensive anyway we diagnosed the car right and repaired it the first time.
go to a cheaper garage a bad mechanic will cost you way more in the long run.
First time visit, I’ll be a regular after today
I booked my car’s first MOT with Ignition Autos because I’m new to the area and they are RAC-recommended. Their customer service was impeccable, the staff are very welcoming, and they did a 2hour turnaround for me so I didn’t have to wait around too long. I’m a low mileage driver, my SLC will need a service by early in 2023 and I’ll definitely be taking it to Ignition Autos instead of a main dealer as I would normally do.

What an excellent experience dealing with this family run business. I was updated every step of the way and they explained exactly what needed to be done. Outstanding professional and friendly service and wouldn’t hesitate to take my car back ( which I am for an oil and filter change ) and would highly recommend to anyone.

First time using this garage
I booked in with Ignition Autos online for an MOT this week. Despite my car failing it’s MOT, the customer service I received from start to finish was fantastic! I will definitely be going back in the future with my new car!

Excellent service
I had work done replacing an axle, etc. Everyone at Ignition Autos was friendly, helpful and efficient. They completed the work very quickly and at a much lower charge than I was quoted elsewhere. I would definitely recommend them.

Best garage I have used in years
Not a review fan but I was very impressed with this garage, my car had been in 2 different garages recently for quite big jobs and no feedback given hence wh now being repaired here, they did a brilliant job at a good price and told me everything else that needed doing, no sales pitch just the facts. They wer ready and waiting when I took the car in and car was repaired within the time stated which was a relief as I travelled there from another town and had to hang around. Will definitely use again and will recommend to anyone that wants quality repairs. Thanks

Very pleased with the discussion I had with the technician following my vehicle's 48 months' service + MOT today. We discussed the tread depths of the tyres, which are the vehicle's first set and have done 20,000 miles. I am confident that I now know how to monitor the tread depths myself, and can judge when to return to the workshop to have the tyres checked again. I was also pleased to note that the technician's top priority is safety.

Found them online through who can fix my car.com
received a quote of the job online and i accepted the quote, we fixed a date. i arrange for recovery to take my car there. when i got there, i was told my car could not be done, the price quoted on the website was just diagnostic only and wanted to charge me triple of the price and even then they cannot guarantee that the work can be done that day. Just ordinary fuel drain. i was told i could not wait in the reception.
I took it to another garage work was done within 2 hrs.
They could have explained this before i brought the car. The mechanic craig attitude was very rude and unprofessional. I had to hire a recovery vehicle to remove my vehicle from their premises as they refuse to help me find recovery company.
I would not recommend them at all

We are very sorry that you feel you have had a bad experience with us on this occasion. We do endeavour to be as transparent as possible, but on this occasion it appears there has been a breakdown in communication, the quote on who can fix my car was only for a diagnostic charge as we cannot quote for the repair until we have done the diagnostic first and have seen what damage has been done, I did say the repair would be done the same day though. With the Covid situation. You arrived with the breakdown service without discussing with us that you wanted to come with the car yourself, we do try to discourage customers from waiting around in the reception where possible. Customers can wait in reception if the booking is for a quick repair but as I explained I did not know how quickly I could jump onto your repair for you so you could have had a very long wait. If you look at all our other reviews you can see we normally achieve what we strive for in regards to our service, professionalism and transparency, but unfortunately this does not seem to have come across to yourself how we would have liked this time.
