My car broke down due to the wet belt failing, the RAC recommended this bodge job garage to fix one problem, and it came out worse off! After over charging me I still have a car that does not run properly and they refused to fix the problem that they are reliable to sort out! I still have the engine management light on ( which It did not have before taking it to this garage )
I’ve spoken to many other garages in the mean time and had a diagnosis that shows the problem occurred after work had taken place on my vehicle! Which was obvious to me!! This garage has caused me nothing but headache!!!

Avoid at all cost !!!!

I went to Ignition autos as they are RAC recognised and closest to me due to having RAC premium warranty. The garage were very helpful in diagnosing my Range Rover and even though the fault was not covered under warranty they gave me some great advice and all round knowledge that has helped me to hopefully fix my situation as the bill is quite pricey. I will defo be going back to hopefully have some work done that should be covered under warranty!

found this garage really professional and friendly. I was a female on my own and they made me feel really confortable, which is the first time i have felt like that when having my car repaired. They talked me through everything and gave me a price and told me what would wait and what needed to be done.
Cant recommend them highly enough especially to any ladies who are unsure about getting their vehicle serviced or repaired. Very fairly priced for exceptional service.

Main dealer quoted £130 all in for haldex service you quoted £330 and never was it said that that wasnt an exact price that is a massive difference a haldex service is a haldex service no need to see the car
Dick turpin wore a mask clearly people need to be very careful when accepting to have work carried out at the overly inflated prices always shop around so you dont get ripped off by places like this

Absolutely incredible service from ignition auto . We broke down in a storm , had to sleep overnight in our motor home (freezing) ignition auto as promised , repaired our fan belt in minutes as they opened their gates , on a wet cold Monday morning . Super friendly, nothing too much trouble . I would drive two hours for their EXCELLENT service THANK YOU IGNOTON AUTO

Excellent service by this garage. Our Ford Ranger came in to be looked at as had lost power, the mechanics did a diagnostics on the car and discovered some injector seals needed replacing, although the warranty wouldn’t cover this (typical) we were super impressed with the garage and getting our car sorted for us. Will definitely be returning for any future works and recommending you! Thank you!

I've had a recurring DPF problem with my Insignia for about a year and have had it in three other garages who said they could diagnose and fix it. Each time, the problem came back. Eventually, I got Ignition Autos to take a look at it and for the first time, someone has got to the actual root cause. If I'd gone to Ignition in the first place, then I could have saved all the anxiety of the last year or so, and the car would have been fixed first time round. It pays to talk to the experts first.

If there was an option for 0 stars, i'd put that. Don't bother coming here to get work done, because they say one thing and do another. Take note of all the one star reviews on here and ignore what Ignition Auto's reply with because they lie, and it's a shame that the customers can't reply to their lies. The reply they made to my partner was NOT what was said to us, so you potential customers BEWARE! If you're going to be deluded and actually come to this place PLEASE record everything and get things in writing.
Cutting a very long story short, after speaking to Citizens advice, Trading Standards and my Bank, i was given all my money back. They all agreed, with the video/phone proof that i provided, the service promised was not what was done. Little did Ignition Autos know that i had every conversation on record. All this was passed onto the people investigating and i won.
I'd like to address the fact that you had replied to my partners review (on another platform) stating that i was abusive - Another lie told by these frauds, which is backed up by my phone recording. I have all the conversations, both phone and in the office, on record. So if you don't remove that lie, I'm more than happy to post the conversations on social media, which prove i was not abusive and that you have been lying this whole time. Also, based off your review(s), i'm not the only customer who has had to record your BS.
Another disgusting behavior from this company is how you said, i quote, "you clearly lacked and knowledge of this industry as we can all see reading your small minded review" - how dare you say my partner is small minded based on his review. You're proving to others how unprofessional you are and you're bullies, so please go ahead and say this to your other clients and see how they react. Your colleague (woman on the front desk, the one with the attitude. And i'm not the only one to say it looking at your reviews) said 'XYZ' work was going to be done, but we got nothing but one of your technicians diagnosing the "issue" with his ear, seeing as there was no errors appearing on your machine. Sorry but if your mechanics diagnose issues based on what you hear, you shouldn't be in business. You stated on my partners review that you did "all this work", but again, this is another lie isn't it, because i have video evidence on what was ACTUALLY done, seeing as your colleague told it to us. Go ahead and carry on lying because i have EVERYTHING covered.
Again, to the potential customers, DON'T BOTHER SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE because they offer to do nearly £1000 worth of work on an issue that might not actually be an issue.
Feel free to reply to this review with your lies, because like i said, i'm more than happy to post my side of the TRUTH on social media for others to hear.
TO OTHERS OUT THERE, DON'T BOTHER TAKING IN WHAT THEY SAY, THEY WILL SAY WHATEVER TO COVER THEMSELVES! Please listen to those who unfortunately got the bad end of the stick and get everything on record.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

£84 diagnostic fee: Our trained mechanic didn't open up your engine, he listened to the engine and diagnosed your issue.

We told you what the issue was, and you charged us for a man to stick his ear on the engine to clarify the issue. A reputable garage TOLD us the issue, you just charged us for a man to say, "yeah, my ears also said that"

£84 later, we now need to pay another £84 for you to actually open the engine to potentially diagnose more damage, when you had the first hour to do that in the first place.

Dodgy tactics. Don't waste your time with these.

There’s good service, great service and outstanding service. Ignition autos are most definitely outstanding!

I contacted them with an injection fault on my motorhome. The guy I used to go to was away and no other garage in the area had any capacity to even look at it for 2 to 3 weeks. I was due to go on holiday and if I couldn’t get it fixed all my plans were in ruins. Craig quickly diagnosed the fault but his diary was full. Amazingly, he was able to shift a few things round so that he could fit me in. The fact that he was prepared to do this for someone he’d just met is a demonstration of his dedication to customer service. Having fixed the fault, he found that there was also an issue with the injection connectors but through perseverance he was able to resolve it and didn’t even charge me for the extra work.

I will definitely use Ignition Autos for all my work in the future and cannot recommend them enough. Thanks Craig and the team for getting me back on the road.

Excellent service cannot fault reasonably cost 1st class all round would highly recommend. All staff very courteous and gave a full breakdown of all costs. 5 star all round

Got my mot for my subaru done at Ignition today by craig. I felt it was very fair and even booked my other car in for 4 wheel alignment because they quoted cheaper than anywhere else. will definately use them again.

Customer service and all employers were exceptional, they all went above and beyond. Would use again and recommend to anyone.

Got my car checked over because engine management light on. Staff fitted me in at short notice and very pleasant and helpful. Billing procedure explained on the phone booking, but no charge this visit as computer fault rectified without any additional work being necessary. Will definitely go back again. Straightforward approach to business.
