Leide bil for 1 time drop-in. Ble belastet 2 timer for å være 9 min (minuttene fra inkl. bestillingstidspunktet) selv om selve bruksperioden var under 1 time.

Fantastic and the best car rental company I’ve ever used!

Needed to amend the booking in the middle of the night as our flight was delayed and no shuttle bus to the hotel was available.

My wife downloaded the app, was able to add herself to the insurance policy and activate the booking at 2am in the morning within 5 minutes.

Was kept up to date of all parking charges and tolls through the app. A temporary receipt is displayed which was exactly what they charged me afterwards with no discrepancies.

So easy to use and I would t think of using any other HYRE company when I return to Norway next year.

Bilen og Hyreappen en er godt integrert, slik at det er enkelt å finne leiebil, låse opp bilen og starte og avslutte leieperioden. Viktig at leiebilene er spredd rundt i byen og ikke kun ett sted. Meget godt fornøyd med Hyre.

Jeg er ny som «bil løs» og dette er en fantastisk enkel måte å booke og låne bil.

It was the chiepest option and this is great. Also they are only who accepting debitcard. Another thing that on rented car was specified damage - 4cm thin scratch on frontal bumper. Menwhile car itself was rusty all around)))) LOL. But the worst thing is tires. Winter, norway, snow and ice on road. 11y.o. nankang lamel tires, which obviously are in use all year around on wheels and the rubber already like plastic! I must drive 40-50 km/h on these tires to avoid accidents, and still got few dangerous accidental drifts. NOT SAFE!!! Not possible to left car on another place.
Very responsible support, no problem with rent process, quiet, reliable and fast. But the car is NOT SAFE!!! )))

Everything was user-friendly: "rent-a-car-for-dummies". Updated maps with location of each car, availability and any and all information you should need.
I usually don't drive automatic and was wondering if getting in to the car without keys would be a problem- it was not. The car was clean, good tires, and even taking photos and uploading them went perfectly smooth. All in all 5 out of 5, will definately use HYRE again.

Det stemte ikke med Google Maps der bilen sto. Jeg anbefaler heller å vise til nummer på parkeringsplassen.
Ellers hadde vi en god opplevelse med leieforholdet.

Fin bil, enkel betjening, god informasjon og rask behandling.

Veldig enkelt leieforhold med alt i en app. Litt tull med trekk av betaling for lading, men dette ble ordnet umiddelbart av en hyggelig kundebehandler.

Superenkelt og effektivt! Leid både liten bil og varebil hos Hyre flere ganger opp gjennom årene og alltid fornøyd! I tillegg veldig rask og god kundeservice :-)

God plass i bilen! Enkel å kjøre, låse opp og fylle bensin på.

Genialt opplegg

Leide bil hos Hyre og fikk problemer etter rundt 20 minutter med kjøring. Fikk varsel om lavt dekktrykk, og kort tid etter sprakk dekket mens jeg kjørte på motorvei. Ganske ubehagelig og stressende situasjon.

Jeg ringte nummeret for veihjelp som står i appen, men da jeg senere tok kontakt på chat hadde de ingen registrering av at jeg hadde ringt. Det førte til mye forvirring og veldig lite informasjon om hva som faktisk skjedde videre. Jeg måtte selv etterspørre status mens jeg sto og ventet på hjelp.

Oppfølgingen underveis var svak, med lite proaktiv informasjon og uklare svar. I tillegg opplevde jeg dem som lite villige til å refundere det jeg hadde betalt, og det føltes som de prøvde å legge skyldsspørsmålet over på meg, selv om jeg fulgte retningslinjene deres og dette skjedde med en bil som i praksis ble ubrukelig kort tid etter start.

De skal ha for at de til slutt ordnet opp og refunderte leien, men det tok unødvendig mye frem og tilbake. Hele opplevelsen, spesielt rundt sikkerhet, kommunikasjon og ansvar, gjør at jeg ikke kan gi mer enn 2 stjerner.

Delivered a pick-up for service and got a SUV for rental. Did not really fit my purpose.

It requires a credit check before approving users. If you have recently moved to Norway, this process will simply fail because you do not yet have a Norwegian credit history. As a result, as a new resident, you are unable to use the service even if you have a decent stable income or a good credit record from another country. Their claim of 3 months payslips will also be invalid if you just moved in. This requirement makes the platform inaccessible for people who have just relocated to Norway.

Many other car-sharing or rental companies instead use a credit card as a guarantee or temporarily block a deposit until the car is returned. This approach allows new residents to use the service without relying on a local credit history.

It is also not clearly stated on the homepage that a credit check is required. The site mainly encourages you to download the app and start using the service. The credit check requirement is only mentioned in the fine print (T&C or FAQs) or becomes apparent after you begin the signup process in the app
