Hull Fibre Arvostelua 

I asked on a local Facebook group which startups people were using for internet and phone because I was fed up of paying >£60 a month for broadband and phone connection. I had good feedback regarding Hull Fibre. Then Sean from the company commented on my post offering to be in touch. Turns out he lives round the corner from me. The next working day be called me exactly when promised and I signed up. It couldn't have been easier.

Installation was delayed by a week because of circumstances regarding a tree beyond Hull Fibre's control. On the rearranged day of installation MS3 connected my house to the infrastructure in the morning, and by lunchtime Hull Fibre came and installed their hardware. I was given a router extender to make sure both home offices had optimal coverage. The Hull Fibre chap made sure that I was online and connected before he went.

Download and upload speed are both phenomenal and the landline works great.

I had to call technical support (because I was being a Muppet}, the phone was answered immediately and my query resolved within 2 minutes.

So far, absolutely top notch and for half the price of Hull's heritage supplier.

Overall service up to now seems to have run smoothly. With WiFi working fine. Only thing I found out after having it installed was that there was a £25 install charge for the 12month contract which I wasn't made aware of when placing the order or signing the paperwork

Recently gone over to hull fibre there was a problem with cables they came out and replaced them internet was not off fir long can not fault them good work

Had my install done by MS3 and it was very tidy and the engineer was a pleasure to have around. The router was installed efficiently by Hull Fibre. Credit to Ben and Jenson in technical support for helping a technophobe like me!

This is a really good service, the signal doesn't buffer often or go off,

After having Hull Fibre for 3 months now, I can say that I have not looked back when I left KC for these guys. 20% cheaper a month, x3 tested faster download, x25 tested faster upload. Amazing! KC took ages to switch my Internet off, so I was able to do direct speedtests and it is night and day. Great for my youtube video uploads.
Sales guy Liam was great, came round to assess placement and if the fitters could fit in the tight spot for the cable. The emails for setup and prep were informative and very clear to ensure everything ran smoothly. Unlike KC who started chasing me for money even though I had confirmed with them I was leaving... I also got 2 free months on top of the regular monthly saving. Would definitely recommend.

The person I talked to was clear and understanding of my situation. The issue was solved very quickly.

Hull fibre are trying to charge my daughter £800 for a service they haven’t used.

Door canvasser Mis-sold a free trial installation… service wasn’t fit for purpose so they cancelled trial and asked them to collect equipment.

Never collected router and now trying to charge them £800 for something they haven’t used… didn’t take their bank details.. so definitely didn’t sign up to any contract..

Hull fibre (Scunthorpe) - excellent customer service (Lolly Monroe Black) Fast and efficient service, very helpful and very friendly! My internet had ran out and Lolly had me signed up and an engineer at my address within the week to get me back up and running

I have been assisted by a chap called Ady.

Prompt to respond, was very understanding and more importantly he followed up the matter…..spot on. I couldn’t ask for more.

Switched from KC last week after great conversation with telephonist at Hull Fibre.
Engineer turned up Thursday morning and introduced himself and what he was going do. No mess whatsoever and polite.
Service went live approximately hour later when other engineer arrived with router.

Switched to Hull Fibre from the main Hull supplier about 3 months ago now. From the outset the signing up, installation, set up and activation have all been efficient, no nonsense and problem free. I’ve had no issues whatsoever and the speeds obtained so far have been consistent and equal to my previous provider. Used for streaming, ring doorbell and alarm system, Alexa etc etc and no issues at all. Only had a need to call customer service once regarding a minor billing issue and the problem was rectified same day. 100% happy I made the switch,

The engineer arrived with all the equipment during the allotted time so very convenient when planning my day.
The time in the home was very helpful in helping to organise and setup the additional extension units.

Would recommend to any friends and family looking to move to an alternative to KCOM
