There is absolutely no way to contact this company. You can go on their website and you can supposedly contact them through their link. You can type it all in and there’s a submit button that is greyed out and you cannot click it. There is no phone number nothing. Selling them online locally! 😡
Inaccurate sizing, terrible customer service, and awful exchange policies
I purchased two Hug Sleep pods for my wife and daughter for Christmas, ordering them in late November 2025 to ensure I received them ahead of the holiday. When my wife and daughter got around to trying the pods on over the Christmas break, both pods ended up being too small. In the weeks that followed, I tried initiating an exchange via Hug Sleep's contact page, but the "submit" button on their contact page didn't seem to work right despite multiple attempts. When I never got any sort of email confirmation of my request, I tracked down what purported to be a customer service number for the company (414-209-4638), but I could never get anyone to answer. After going back to the well and finding a customer service email address, I once again attempted to initiate an exchange. This time I finally succeeded in reaching someone, but I was curtly told that the window for exchanges was 30 days from the date of my order in late November and had already closed, which is absolutely ridiculous since it means that by the time my wife and daughter opened their pods on Christmas day, the items were essentially unexchangeable / unreturnable. I tried reasoning with the customer service personnel via email since we weren't seeking a refund--all we wanted was to exchange the two unused pods which cost circa $160.00 for larger sizes. But Hug Sleep's customer service wouldn't budge on its position, instead just "apologizing" for any "inconvenience" that their unwillingness to help might have caused. So I'm essentially out $160 on two brand new, unused pods that are too small for my wife and daughter. Purchase from Hug Sleep at your own risk! My experience was awful...

Everything everyone is saying is correct, it was claustrophobic for them, extreme anxiety inducing, and they refused to try them overnight. Each lasted maybe 30 seconds wearing them.
This review is mostly about their customer service- aside from the cheap quality. I’ve purchased sheets from Walmart that came in better quality cloth bags then these pods- but that’s besides the point.
I gave these to my children as Christmas gifts- but purchased weeks before- well their “30 day” return policy doesn’t account for any of that. They don’t care it was a gift, they don’t care if it’s unopened, they don’t even offer a more expanded explanation, just oh sorry, it’s a 30 day return policy.
It’s pretty standard and for most companies to over 90 day around the holidays if things were purchased from. November-december, not these guys. So now I’m stuck with $200 worth of products, that could be resold if they returned, but it’s against their policy.
So yeah, after purchasing, waiting to give as gifts, kids finally wanting to try them- and after the hecticness of the holidays, they don’t care about you anymore. They have your money, thanks now move along. Brilliant business strategie.

It was never opened before we opened it for Christmas. I'm not rich. I had to prepare through months of buying gifts, I cant afford to buy everything within 30 days for return purposes! 30 night sleep should mean what it sounds like. 30 nights trying it to sleep in! $80 down the drain.

I am extremely disappointed with Hug Sleep and their customer service. Their website clearly advertises a 30-day return policy, yet when I returned the sleeper through their online return system, it was incorrectly processed as an exchange for a smaller size instead of a refund.
This made no sense, as I had clearly stated in my return that the product was too tight and made my son feel claustrophobic. If it was returned for being too restrictive, why would I have wanted a smaller size? Now, Hug Sleep is refusing to honor their 30-day refund policy.
Customer support, specifically Sam, was unwilling to rectify the situation or take accountability for the error. I followed the return process exactly as instructed, but instead of standing behind their guarantee, I was left frustrated, with no refund and no resolution.
A company that refuses to honor its own stated policies and mishandles returns shows a complete lack of integrity. I would not recommend Hug Sleep to anyone considering a purchase.

I paid £133 for two sleep pods.
I didn’t get on with them, so wanted to return them – I then discovered that I had to pay the carriage myself to get them back to Milwaukee which would be at least £25.
I then received a FedEx bill in the post for £65 importing fee to get the goods from America to England.
So I now have two useless sleep pods that have cost me £200
Very polite responses from Sam in customer services directing me to their terms and conditions.
I was told that if I was an international customer I needed to do my homework – I didn’t know I was an international customer because I didn’t know it was an American company.

Product is garbage
Product is garbage. I bought the cooling body pillow for over $100 and used it for about a week, washed the outside cover with their specific washing instructions and the whole thing pilled and looks like it is 20 years old after one wash. Sam in customer service gave me this lame excuse about how I am supposed to buy another body pillow case for the case of the pillow that’s already on it. Pathetic excuse, this company does not stand by their product. I will be contacting good morning America where I found it to let them know they are selling garbage as well.

I can’t speak to how the product performs—because I never received it. After waiting over a week, I reached out to the company with proof (including video footage) that the package was never delivered. Their response? Blame USPS and tell me to figure it out.
No refund. No replacement. No real help. Just a lot of “it’s not our problem.”
Not exactly the kind of support you expect from a company that calls itself a “small business.” Hug Sleep may be cozy in theory, but their customer service? Not so comforting.
Limited and deceptive return policy
They only allow returns from a fedex store in person, which means you cannot return your order unless you have a fedex store in your area. They refused to provide me with an alternative way to return my order.

Customer service failure and tricky…
Customer service failure and tricky return procedures! I received an item as a gift from a relative, wanted to exchange it. When you get to the website the "return a gift" button is so small I processed a regular return, and paid UPS to return it. They will not honor the return b/c they sent an email to the purchaser (not recipient) with a return label, even tho they're different addresses. Now my relative is out $79 and I'm out $14 in shipping, they have the product, and they won't send me the cheaper exchange. Horrendous.

we ordered three as gifts on the 1st of December for Christmas. One recipient wanted to exchange it. Hug Sleep would not work with us on exchange because it was over 30 days. A exception on exchange really needs to be made at Christmas time for a longer exchange period.

I ordered 3 HugSleep pods (husband, daughter, myself) over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and they were delivered on 11/30/24. I was so excited for them, read so many glowing reviews and hoped they would be effective for all 3 of us. I spent almost $200 on these 3 sleep pods. **These were a Christmas present FROM SANTA so we did not open them until 12/25/24.
Important info to know: HugSleep return and exchange policy is 30 days from date of delivery, to give you enough time to try them out. I contacted HugSleep on 1/10/25 to initiate a return for all 3 pods. Mine does not fit and was painful to try and fit into. The pods fit my husband and daughter, but they didn't sleep more effectively with them. This was approx. 45 days from date of delivery, but less than 30 days since they were received as Christmas presents. I didn't wait 30 days from the holiday to contact them for the return, but it also would not have been possible to try them out and make a decision whether or not to keep the pods by 12/29/24 (the 30 day deadline). HugSleep customer service was responsive via email, and politely refused to return or exchange because I was past the original 30 day deadline. They simply repeated this via email 3-4 times.
They do NOT have a holiday return policy, which I suggested they should adopt, because I can't possibly be the only person in this situation. I finally gave up any hope of getting my money back and asked at least for an exchange for a size up for my pod only so I could have one that fits, and they also completely refused me. This is one of the worst companies/customer service that I have ever dealt with. They don't care about their customers, just following their inflexible, poorly written return/exchange policy, and they just want your money. Do not be fooled by their good marketing tactics. Buyer beware!
HugSleep, if you read this, I would really appreciate working together to find a reasonable solution.
Avoid Shipping Fees and the Hassle, DONT get it
If you are in two minds to get this product, DONT! I thought I will try it out, ended up paying $60 in shipping from and return. Not worth it as their refund policy charges you for shipping/processing.

I received a wrap for my birthday and I absolutely love it so I went back to buy another!!! It is super soft and comfortable, with a bit of weight that adds to the overall compression which I can control with how I wrap it around my body. Seriously the best crossover for the best sleep!
Terrible customer service, misrepresented risk-free guarantee
First, I needed a size medium but accidentally ordered a small. I immediately noticed the error after I placed the order, and nowhere on the website was I able to do anything other than email Hug Sleep Support, which I did immediately (within 3 minutes of submitting the order). The next day, I received a correspondence saying my order was already in production and couldn’t be adjusted in any way. So I had to wait a week for the wrong size item to ship to my home. Next, I tried the Sleep Move Pod anyway since I am on the border between small and medium, according to the chart on the website. Since I didn’t like it and was still well within the 30-day try-it-out period, I decided to take advantage of the “hassle-free returns” advertised on the site. I ordered a bundle (the Sleep Move pod, carrying case, and eye mask). When I initiated the return, I was made aware that only the Sleep Move pod was returnable; I would have to keep the $11 carrying pouch and the $22 eye mask. In addition, I have to deduct $11 from my refund to pay for the shipping back to Hug Sleep. So now I’m stuck with items I don’t want and out $42 for taking a chance on this small business that advertises its no-risk guarantee all over its website. I would never recommend anyone try Hug Sleep due to their terrible customer service.

The company touts this as a good thing for anxiety and a whole host of things. It is not a comfortable way to sleep. They would not take it back even though it was a Christmas gift for my autistic grandson. I urged him to try several times but by then, it was past the 30 days. Crappy product, crappy policy.
