Hozelock Ltd (UK) Arvostelua 

I had an issue with a spray gun, and Leena dealt with my problem very quickly and efficiently. My special thanks to her for resolving my problem.

Where to start. This company clearly have a great innovations department, the products are a great in concept only however. The issues seem to lay with the engineering teams, who in my opinion are useless. We will start with extending hoses, fantastic idea. However, you've only got to catch a flint or thorn while pulling along and they puncture. As you can guess Hozelock do no repair kits and each fitting is factory pressed, as such you cannot even shorten if they get a puncture, they become scrap!
We then move on to what should be their beacon of quality, the quick fit fitting, which one could be forgiven for thinking formed the basis of the companies name. These have be one of the most annoying things a gardener can encounter. At best they last 3 years and then start popping off. You’d think a company who talks about engineer products to last 30 years and being a good sustainable plastics producer would be able to engineer a product they've sold for donkeys years to last. I have had B&Q own brand fittings, which are significantly cheaper and outlast Hozelock fittings.
The product which annoyed me enough to write this review was their micro hose reel, which you guessed has to same useless plastic fitting, which has failed having bought only for washing my car and at most connected and disconnected 50 times. It has been kept in a heated garage, therefore never seen a frost. It will be no surprise to know the fittings on the micro hose also can’t be replaced. As such a hose which was purchased in Feb 24 and used no more than 50 times is now junk too.
How much plastic tat have this company produced that has ended up in landfill due to their inability to engineer quality? The audacity of Hozelock to even mention sustainability on their website when selling the same faults year on year in their fittings.

I have been using Hozelock for years, they have excellent customer service when you call them with a problem, but their Hose fittings aren’t as good as they were, I have had to replace the three tap system three times over the course of the summer. Today it has started to drip again, like before, within a week it will be a torrent leaving the tap, for this reason I am only giving two stars !

Amazing customer service from Leena! After calling she sent an email within minutes telling what they needed me to send to confirm warranty and fault. Once I replied she again responded with an email a short time later to confirm a replacement hose would be sent! Well done Leena ! Well done Hozelock !!

No quibble replacement and dealt with courteously swiftly

J ai acheté une lance d'arrosage Hozelock télescopique au printemps 2026 que je n'ai utilisé que deux fois depuis(interdiction d arrosage a cause de la sécheresse) j ai eu besoin de m'en servir cette semaine et j ai ressenti un petit clic lors l'appui de la poignée. Suite à cela la fermeture de l'eau n'est plus totale lorsque l'on relâche cette poignée. Impossible a réparer la partie concernée est soudée au corps de la lance. Bref inutilisable et une quarantaine d'euros perdus. Naturellement, je n'ai pas conservé le ticket d'achat pour un article de ce genre. Donc impossible d'activer une quelconque garantie. On peut légitimement s'interroger sur la qualité des produits de cette marque.

Leena was extremely helpful and arranged a replacement tuffhoze for me. I was extremely grateful as I am going through a very difficult time and she absolutely made my day. Thank you again Leena for your help today. My faith in customer service restored.

Great service my hose was out of the standard guarantee you get with many items you buy luckily the hose had 30yrs guarantee and replaced quickly no issues Leena from customer services got back to be super fast when i emailed them. Thanks

customer service was excellent. Made complaint about faulty hose and received a replacement within a few days.
However, it's a shame that the product isn't as good as the customer service.
This was the third time in 2 years that I've had to request a replacement due to a leak, which suggests there may be a design fault, but the issue has always been dealt with efficiently and politely.
I have to say that when it works, the hose is great and I have used the 30m superhose for probably 10 years, so it was disappointing to have the problem with the leak so frequenly in recent years.

I have used Hozelock products for decades and allways find the are reliable and well built.
Whenever there has been an issue customer services have been excellent in dealing with a 20 year old hose pipe , still within the 25year gaurantee!
Most recently when i dropped the brand new garden sprayer full of cleaner and the base cracked, it was replaced immeadiately with no issues.
Imparticular Lena was excellent and very helpfull.

I had an issue with my fathers auto reel,which he had passed on to me.
i contacted the service centre and spoke to Leena ,who oversaw the whole matter , which helps with the continuity ,if you have an issue.
Leena was so very helpful and once it was realised that it was faulty ,a replacement is going to be sent to me,even though i didn't have the original receipt.
The service from Leena was outstanding .

My 40m retractable hose was nearly 2 years old when the hose started to delaminate itself and bulge. I tried my supplier who was not interested. I sent a quick email to hoselock regarding this issue,after a couple of pictures the hose was replaced. Absolutely stunning service and aftersales care. I have always had hoselock and very nearly went with Gardena,thankfully i stayed with Hoselock, brilliant company.

I would just like to say that the Customer Service department of Hozelock Limited UK is fantastic. There wasn’t any quibble about the problem with my hose it was broken in the middle. I received an email confirming that a replacement will be sent out to me which I’ve now received and I can only praise Hozelock for their Customer Service. 

I bought a garden sprayer ~2 years ago from Amazon. Recently it failed to work properly so I applied for a replacement as it was still under the manufacturer's warranty. Once I contacted their Customer Services, the agent who dealt with the call, Cameron could not have been more helpful. The company warranty process is a bit long winded and Cameron guided me through it cheerfully and with no quibbling. Once I provided the information he requested, he approved the replacement at no cost and despatched the item. He is a credit to his team.

Replacement hose didn't arrive Leena was straight on the case and organized for on our return from our holidays.
True to her word it arrived.
Couldn't recommend enough the after sales from hozelock.

I had bought a "Select" watering timer last year, which worked for three months and then packed up. I told them that on the phone and they immediately replaced it free of charge with two of them, which were delivered 3 days later. Fabulous service.

When there is a problem with a product you hope for a prompt resolution. This was provided by Hozelock and in particular Cameron acted in a very professional way, communicating precisely to resolve the issue to my complete satisfaction. Thank you 👍
