What a complete joke of a company.
I bought a domain, got a confirmation.

Then my account was got frozen?
I called customer service, and they told me that there are some discrepancies.
I asked what it was and how we can resolve it -- they told me that they are a private company so they cannot disclose.

Rudest experience I've ever had.

Their domain url forwarding only works for basic http:// which is useless as most browsers connect securely using https://. This means users typing in the domain name do not get redirected. I've raised this with the support team and TuCows but nobody is fixing the issue despite me hosting multiple domains with them.

Dith was incredibly helpful in clarifying various concepts and providing guidance.

AVOID!
Refused to give a refund after settings mistakenly set to auto-renew. Slow and unhelpful customer service. I will never use it again or recommend it to anyone.

Cannot log in to account- they claim to email you a log in code but don't. I have this problem every year because they keep taking down my website instead of asking me to renew the domain name. No other company works in this way.

I opened a Vistaprint website with a free custom domain. Hover took over my free domain and now keep charging me for it.... Scammers. Really bad customer service too

I signed up for this service 20 years ago before Hover bought it and it was great. Unfortunately Hover has not improved it in the same 20 years and it is unacceptably slow. I intend to cancel our services with 6 accounts. Sad.

Same as a lot of others, got transferred from
Vistaprint and this Hover is absolutely useless - definitely feels like a scam and get no help whatsoever.

Potentially Scam Company

Never requested their services but somehow via a transfer of Vistaprints web services i have them as my domain host
Trying to charge me 70.99 for this is absolutely extortionate charge that previously and for the last 10 years was included in my monthly subscription to vistaprint

I registered a domain and they blocked my account for no reason. The online technical support is rubbish, they just tell you to call a number that no one answers. They are scammers, you register a domain and maybe even request a service and then they block your account for no reason. Absolutely not recommended.

Hover’s auto-renewal system is extremely disappointing and feels very scammy. They charge a significantly higher rate than the initial purchase price without clear warning, and they refuse to issue refunds even if the business has shut down. Their lack of transparency and poor customer service make it a service I cannot recommend.

The system has been very unreliable and today it was down half the day and my outlook was still not working. When I called concerning this, their solution was to complete delete my outlook and lose everything I have saved in outlook and setting up outlook again. I would NEVER recommend this service. I run a business and need reliable email service. Clearly this company is unable to provide that service

I work for a church and I am fairly new to hover-2 mos. I 'inherited' it from a co-worker, where the other church is, we combined bulletins. It seems to always be down and I can not get emails for announcements. The other secretary can't use hers to get to her daily email. I wish there was a way to have this email but bounce to Gmail or Yahoo. In other words it stinks! I do not recommend it.

Really disappointed. Their email service is down again. Has had frequent disruptions recently. No information on their website. Don't appear to be running a viable service.

Bought a carpet shampooer not a cheap one and it has already broken. Can't get anyone to help. Don't buy any HOOVER products.

Extremely discredited service. I lost money to buy a domain name but it was locked and I couldn't access my account. The domain name is still free and anyone can still register it, but my visa account is still charged. Contacting for help or asking for a refund is impossible. SHOULD stay away.

They deleted many of my 2,000 + domains without an explanation, and now their website is frequently down

Absolutely abysmal customer service. I sent a request for a refund as I no longer used their service and customer service did not email me back as they stated they would. When I followed up again, they refused and would only give me only 50% for a refund and claimed all their supervisors were too busy and would email me back later. They've built a untrustworthy system to scam you of your money and will continue to argue the same points over and over.

Lost Two life changing contracts because of this clowns who call themselves hover. Email system was down for day and I didn't even know.

Gave me a domain I didn't ask for and refuse to refund my money. What a scam.
