Company does not pay their invoices and does not react to claims
This company owes our hotel approximately Euro 2.000 from invoices which were not paid by them. Support is not helpful, "officially" there seems to exist an account manager, but this person which does not respond to our claims but keeps sending us information about "business opportunities" by E-mail. It seems as if they were waiting for us to just give up on claiming these invoices.

Horrible!!!! SO frustrating- booked a hotel reservation with an agent who did not give me a refundable reservation as asked. (Hotelbeds later admitted it was an "agent error"). It took a month of back and forth where they repeatedly said that a confirmed reservation could not be changed . I am very unhappy with their unacceptable responses. The online customer service was unacceptable. The agents on the phone are very limited as to what they can do.

This is the shittiest booking site that I have ever had to deal with. The front desk at the hotel told me that they could not cancel the reservation since it was booked by hotelbeds.com. No phone number was provided. The phone number I found was not working and then I found a number in yelp and I called that number. The agent on the line just yelled at me and was very rude. It looks like this is a scam booking site. Everybody please be careful with this business. I called back quite a few times and evetime they hung-up on me when we were in the middle of the conversation. Why is this kind of business existing scamming people? BEWARE!!!

Yet another 1 Star review. If a Negative Star review was possible, that’s what Hotelbeds would get.
A dreadful organisation based in Spain which should be shut down immediately.
The SCAM is that it adds a huge “Service Fee” and “Tax Recovery Charges” amounting to over 30% of the hotel room costs.
The FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOUR is that in addition to the original booking, another debit appeared on my credit card for another booking that I had no knowledge of.
Avoid using this company at all costs.
Not a third party; a controlling party
I am writing this review in regards to a vacation I didn't get to go, on due to this company. This shady company held my trip hostage and wouldn't allow for a name change for a family member to replace another family member on a vacation for two. I even offered to do the trip alone, but couldn't be guaranteed that the flights and even the hotel portion would go "smoothly" for me. I got a bad feeling about this company and worried about my safety and stay at the hotel it operated at. I ended up losing the entire trip and so don't waste your time. If booked in as a package, they decide how your trip goes, not the company you booked with. That is shady buisness and I will be letting everyone I know not to book any vacation with this company involved.

Avoid. Copies of genuine hotel websites. Company charges exorbitant admin fees!
While looking for a hotel by its name, I was directed to the hotelbeds / guestreservations.com website without initially being aware. The website looked very much like the genuine hotel website, as did the price, even though I did wonder about the many currencies and languages on offer.
It's only when booking that I realised that a fee of 65 Euros was being added to my reservation. I cancelled the reservation immediately and, to be fair, was refunded straight away.

Ok - Your online reservation system is very good and very competitive for a wholesale operation like ours.
Your payment collection system (pre-payments) is very good and very prompt.
However - Your support system in particular when there is a problem such as the current being experienced The Middle East WAR is too mechanical and not designed properly to identify imminent risk and offer support accordingly

Stealth booking by Hotelbeds
I booked a hotel reservation through Expedia. Unbeknownst to me, they outsourced my reservation to Hotelbeds, a company I had never heard of. Since I never got a confirmation from either Expedia or Hotelbeds, I assumed the reservation had not gone through so I re-booked through Expedia. The hotel says it has two reservations in my name, one via Hotelbeds and the other via Expedia. They want me to pay for both hotel rooms! The customer service representative at Expedia was polite and helpful. She called the hotel on my behalf to try to resolve the issue, and she got the Hotelbeds booking ID number from them so that I could call Hotelbeds. The agent at Hotelbeds was rude and said he couldn't help me.
