There was difference in colour between a side table and the sideboard I sent some photos to show the difference and got no response. Spent £900 and expected quality products, very disappointed, that's what happens when you buy online I guess.

I have looked at your email and to be fair the items are very slightly lighter due to different grain variations and we would expect this to be the case when you buy multiple items .Rest assured all oak items do mellow in colour with time . The soho collection is a good clean range but as the sideboard has verticle slats on the doors with gaps in between this will always be slightly darker than a drawer front due the the nature of the build and style of the range.

Excellent product
The product is excellent but customer service notification about delivery did not happen. I was told I would be notified when out for delivery. I was lucky I was at home as its not a product that can be left with a neighbour. By good luck it came before I left for work. .maybe this is the delivery company fault. I received the notification about delivery 4 hours after I received the item. 😟

More hassle than what it’s worth
Disappointing Experience with Damaged Goods and Delayed Resolution
I ordered quite an expensive TV unit in February, fully aware of the long lead time and was happy to wait. Unfortunately, the experience since then has been frustrating. The unit finally arrived on April 8th, 2025, but was damaged—there was a visible repair mark and a splodge on the marble surface.
I contacted the company, and to their credit, they arranged a collection and sent a replacement. However, the second unit, which arrived on April 19th, was also damaged.
After further communication, we agreed that I would keep the second unit and receive a £200 refund, along with a care kit to help repair the damage. While the refund was processed, I had to chase the company multiple times (around 4/5 times) to actually receive the care kit, which finally arrived on June 6th—over six weeks later.
While the customer service team was responsive in parts, the overall experience was disappointing due to the repeated quality issues and the effort required on my part to get a resolution. I expected better from a company selling high-end furniture.
I would recommend that if you do buy from here, use a payment method that offers buyer protection.

Sorry to hear you had issues with your purchase.The range in this case is a 70kg marble topped item which although qc checked at factory can sometimes suffer shipping issues which we tried our best to resolve for you with a replacement and then a generous discount .The issue in the paint was a knot in the wood that did not take the paint cleanly leaving a very small line which was easily resolved with the filler stick but i do appreciate the time for this to arrive was not acceptable and apologise for that.This delay was caused as the correct colour was out of stock and we had to wait for the correct colour as this is a specific grey and needed to match as closely as possible for the best results.
I gather this matter is now resolved and i hope you enjoy your tv unit and please be assured any purchase from our website has a 100% seller protection regardless of the payment method which is a standard feature on our shopify platform .

NEVER, EVER AGAIN
What went wrong this time? Everything.
Lack of communication/confirmation of delivery date
Advised on the day of a delay to delivery-time - customer had to telephone to get more info
Delivery arrived over 2 hours later than originally advised
Paid £25 for delivery - no assembly. The poor delivery guys spoke little or no English - just told to dump and run.
NEVER AGAIN - What TERRIBLE SERVICE
(I could have bought the table, assembled, when I saw it in a store in Devon, for less money, but thought I could order it quite easily when I returned home.)
NEVER AGAIN WITH HOPO - a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If we could give Zero Stars, we would.

To be fair Mrs Laybourne as discussed with you via our phone follow up call you only paid for standard delivery which does not include assembly of your coffee table.The partner carrier in this case was running a little behind which with traffic and the nature of the items being delivered being furniture with some needing assembly delays can happen from time to time but if the delivery was booked with you via the partner carrier and time window supplied communication was clearly actioned but apologise for the slight delay and any inconvenience caused.
