From the start of the process to its conclusion, Homehold were very good in all respects - communication, sharing information, sending all relevant documentation and responding to any of my queries. The staff were always helpful, friendly and replied immediately.
They were transparent at all times and their information and communication was easy to understand and implement.

Homehold (and their legal team LLS) dealt with our lease extension. I knew from neighbours that our freeholder was going to be difficult to deal with so having researched fully I opted for them as they offered a full fixed fee service. They were extremely professional keeping us informed of progress at all stages and alerted us to the fact that we needed to amend our lease plan which they were able to deal with for us.
They also prepared for us to go to tribunal when it looked as though we were going to run out of time due to the freeholder’s solicitor being unresponsive. We did not actually have to go through with this thanks to the team’s persistence.
Well worth the money for peace of mind over a difficult year!

The thought of a lease extension can be very daunting, as it's a complicated, once-in-a-lifetime process that most people know little about. I wished for a bit more care and understanding at the start, as it would have made me feel much more at ease with the process.

Great Experience
This is an update to my previous review done on 10/12/2024. My experience about the company has not changed since. Detail below.
I have a few rental properties and most are leasehold. I completed the first lease extension in 2023 through Homehold Services after an extensive search of the market for a company that can take over the whole process and minimise the hassle for me. My experience was nothing short of fantastic. If I could give this company, along with their sister concern LLS, more than 5 STARS I would, because they deserve it.
The people are very professional and competent at their job, and their communication is spot-on. They guide you along the way, they fight your corner and are always there if you need them. The prices are very reasonable and transparent, I did not pay a single penny more than what I was told right at the beginning. As a result, I gave them two more lease extensions in 2024, both of which were completed with the same level of professionalism as the first one. I have now given them the fourth lease extension in 2025 and it is going just as great. I will use this company for as long as their service quality stays the same, I have no need to look elsewhere. Of course, I have no hesitation in recommending them very highly on the basis of my own experience.

This was a very straightforward lease extension for our property. Homehold kept us informed and up to date with progress. It was done quicker than expected, a very good experience.

We have finally completed our lease extension with the help of Homehold and their communication and service has been exceptional throughout. The process took over a year from when we started, due to long delays and lack of communication from the freeholder, resulting in them missing the 2 month deadline to respond to our Section 42 and then the 6 month deadline in which the lease extension needed to be completed. Homehold/LLS took steps to protect our claim and prepare for court action (understandably there was an extra cost involved), and we finally completed on the working day before we were expecting to serve court notice.
