Could not login 1 day after setting up my account and buying a tag for my dog. After 2 attempts I was locked out. I called customer service and they could not send a reset for the password. They said wait 30 minutes and the login would reset. Its been 3 hrs and still nothing. Customer service is non existant. I have norton 360 for my passwords and it is very good at maintaining my logins. If I can ever get in I will cancel my account and never use their services again

I was very pleased with home again. My dog ate prescription pill of mine and I called them. They researched the mg, her weight and determined it was not toxic, but what to watch for over the next 24 hrs. She slept for a few hrs a day was back to herself by evening. Thank you!

Charged our card without warning or advance knowledge. Card was at zero balance. Charged our card and without notification we got a late fee that was more than HomeAgain fee. Piss poor way to treat customers! We will find another company to do business with!!!

Website is extremely glitchy. Pet registration process makes it seem like you have to pay for premium to finish the process. SLIMY sales tactic. Gross. Thankfully I didn’t fall for it but I imagine many have.

My cat went missing and HomeAgain Pet Recovery was so helpful, understanding, compassionate and so quick on getting my cat's information posted. They are incredible! My cat had returned by 2am the next day meowing at the front door. Thanks to thier post i received advice from other people in my area of how to help him find his way home. I am so grateful for how everyone helped.

HomeAgain is not honoring their PROMISE to provide free lifetime basic enrollment for ALL HomeAgain microchips. I've spent more than 45 minutes on the phone today trying to get them to enroll my pet that had a HomeAgain microchip implanted today. They refuse to enroll without payment without payment, which is in direct violation of their promises. The supervisor flat out told me that their "promises" aren't true in many conditions. Basically, don't trust HomeAgain.

They are slimy and force people to sell u collar tags even to people who don’t want them, anytime I call and need something I am pitched something to sell I’ve asked several times and several agents have told me this is required so I am switching to a free microchipping service instead as I just need to ensure my pets safety not be sold anything

They were very professional. They handle my dogs 🐕 very well. I really needed and appreciate this service.

Just another way to get the poor farmers money. Sad, so sad that they play on fear to make money. Enough said!

My pet is new to the service so I don't know how well/reliably it works. I can say their website IMO is not good at all. Convoluted, not intuitive, poor instructions and sometimes when I clicked on "next" it took me to a page I wasn't expecting. I can say the customer service lady who helped me and talked me through my questions, was very patient and helpful.
To top it off, today I tried to login and the response said it could not verify my login credentials....the ones that worked yesterday. I think you have serious technical issues that make me question the reliability of your service overall
Sometimes the system allows me to log on and sometimes it doesn't recognize my logon. How's that.....and YES I am very very careful about typing in my password and show it to be sure.

When I adopted my dog, he already had a HomeAgain chip implanted. After several attempts to register my information, the website kept forcing me back to signing up for premium. It wouldn't confirm that the registration was successful without paying them. As far as I know, the chip works, my vet scanned it and the number matched the paperwork, but their business model is still a scam.

I submitted multiple written requests to HomeAgain in May 2026 to close my account and ensure my credit card would not be charged again. Instead of handling the request, customer service repeatedly sent canned responses about “removing pet owner information from the database,” which had nothing to do with what I asked for.

Even after I clearly clarified multiple times that this was NOT a privacy/data deletion request, I continued receiving the same copy-paste response. I eventually opened a brand-new ticket with a simplified message: “Please end my premium subscription and make sure auto renew is turned off permanently.”

That finally triggered action, but somehow the request then turned into a “refund request” I never made. I received an email stating they were “unable to process my refund” because there was no payment method on file anymore, meaning the payment information had already been removed by another part of the process.

The entire experience felt disorganized and confusing for what should have been a very simple cancellation request. The only reason I’m somewhat satisfied is because I confirmed my payment method was successfully removed, so they can no longer auto-renew me.

I ordered a dog tag with his chip information written on it. It has been 7 weeks and there is no information on it nor a tracking record. I emailed and no one answered. I called and they said to give it some more time as it was outsourced and there was nothing they could do.

MEDICAL. TECH HOME AGAIN REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY PATIENT AND DETAILED WITH ME REGARDING WHAT COULD BE REASONABLY AND SAFELY DONE WITH MY PET TEMPORARILY UNTIL ROUTINE VET SERVICES REOPENED. GAVE ME CLEAR PARAMETERS TO DETERMINE WHEN IF VET ER. SERVICES SHOULD BE SOUGHT OUT. ALLOWING ME TO TEMP SERVICE MY SWEET ELDERLY ANXIOUS DOG AT HOME UNTIL STANDARD ROUTINE VET AVAILABLE.. HOME AGAIN MEDICAL HOTLINE AVAILABLE FREE W PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP on weekends and holidays as one never can predict when a dog or beloved pet may need sound medical consult. Ty…

My dog still missing I wish they would send another bulletin out about her has been a year and a half and I miss her so much. I know she’s out there. Missing me too.

You guys really made me feel safe and secure about finding my cat he was hiding in my mom’s room under her bed frame this whole time ! Thank God and Thank you too !

When `phoning to say that I'd received no confirmation of the renewal of my cat's membership, imagine my surprise when, on `updating my pet's profile' I found that instead of a 19 lb, medium hair, black and white tuxedo cat, I actually had a 7 lb, domestic shorthair Maltese dog! This is very un-funny and I have to wonder what the owner of the Maltese dog would say when he/she discovered she had a black and white cat.

After spending more than 30 minutes on the phone with a "supervisor" to correct an error in my account, I was coerced into accepting unseen non-negotiable terms and conditions to correct the error. It was clear the off-shore customer service team had limited if any training and could not identify where HomeAgain, a Merck company, was located. Merck has the resources to train its personnel properly and should treat its customers better.
