HME answered all my questions. They promptly corrected MY error in the shipping address. They shipped my Ustep walker and laser within 3 days. They sent me an invoice for Medicare reimbursement. My husband is pleased with his walker. It cost $300 less than several other vendors (including free shipping).

I was able to get a replacement wheel for my walker with no problems. I had to replace a second wheel later and was able to easily order the same one. I have also replaced the basket under the seat and was able to talk to someone who helped me order the exact one I needed.

Stay away! Stay far, far, far away! I wish I had looked up their reviews before ordering anything. They have a garbage rating for a reason.

I ordered a replacement backrest for my rollator, picked the one they said was correct for my specific model. It arrived quickly, but it turned out it didn't fit my walker at all; two inches too short on the ends, with knobs too wide to fit through the corresponding holes in the rollator.

This was annoying enough, but the real nonsense started when I tried to return it. Turns out no living human ever answers their phone, their chat bot is a joke, and the link on their Returns page will only dump you onto an error page stating, "Page Not Found".

Emailing is useless. I've tried twice and no one has replied to me. So, now I'm stuck with a backrest I can't use and no way to return it.

Oh, and the cherry on top: If I ever do get someone to get back to me with return info (not holding my breath for that), I'll be required to pay a 15% restocking fee! Yes, for an item that does not fit because they advertised it incorrectly.

Pay attention to all these bad reviews. HME got them the old fashioned way: They EARNED them.

Edited 07-28-26 to add that a rep finally did reach out to me a few days after I posted this review and resolved my issue. It appears the manufacturer changed the rollator design without giving the new version a different model number, so the item on sale is not correct for the rollator I have. Not HME's fault.

The rep at HME was nice enough to try to find a solution and eventually refunded me in full. So I've changed my rating from one star to three.

I have ordered wheels and a brake extender from HME. Not only were they fast with shipping they were the right size and in good condition. I will be ordering all my wheelchair parts from them from now on. I am so very glad I found them.

The first 2 wheels I ordered were unfortunately the wrong ones for the Rollator being repaired but realized can use them for another. Then I ordered the second pair, and they were exactly what was needed. Repaired the older model and have 2 wheels and bearing for the other. Very pleased !!

The item arrived in a box with holes in the corners. They had placed washers and apparently 2 nuts required to attach the brake pads to the knee scooter.
The washers and nuts were free in the box not in a container of any type. SO I only received one washer and one nut for 2 brake pads. I will not order anything from them again. DUMB!

I ordered a wheel for rolling walker. Ordering was easy, wheel arrived in about 4 days and charges were correct. Could not have asked for simpler transaction

I wish i would have read the reviews. My order was done july 19-2025 and no word from them about tracking my order. They took my money o'right, they said it would take 4 to 6 days to get my order, I started to inquire about the order last week-end august 2 and they don't recognize my order number, but somehow they have my money, and the phone number is a joke, the recording says "offer limited phone support" should say NO phone support. I called my credit card and i am disputing this charge

I ordered a controller for a semi electric Medline bed and paid extra to have it delivered in 2-4 days, because without it, my completely disabled son could not have the bed adjusted at all. On day 4, I called to see where the controller was. Customer Service does not take phone calls (I am not making this up) but you can leave a message. I chose to email the company for the next 2 days and did not receive a reply. On the 7th day, I emailed and said I would dispute the charge and leave a scathing review if I didn't hear back. Today, Day 8, I got an email saying the controller is on back order. Did they tell me that on Day 1? They did not, thank you for asking. Fortunately for my son, I already found the controller on Ebay and ordered it yesterday. Find ANY other way to get your supplies. Medline was almost as bad, because they don't sell that controller, which is from Medline. No, I said that right.

This company is the worst. I ordered a mattress that was noted to be in stock 2 weeks ago and paid for faster shipping. Two weeks later, no mattress, no answers to my multiple emails, no return phone call. When you call there, you cannot speak with anyone....you have to email. I fi ally received an email that said their supplier was out of stock, a couple days later I received an email that said item was discontinued, about 5 minutes after that I received n email that said item has shipped. Today I received an email that said item delivered. I have not received the package, and they refuse to return my emails or my repeated requests for a phone call. DO NOT use this company.

My first order was processed and shipped quickly. Was over the top happy. But 2 weeks later when i placed a duplicate order all of a sudden they canceled my order and stated that they don’t ship to Hawaii! What!! Flat rate postal boxes ship everywhere . After multiple email and getting no where they claim that it was first sent to me by mistake!!! I have a 8 year old son who uses a walker and i need replacement parts and they are the only business that sells them.
So they get only 1 star!!

I ordered a wheelchair and it was not compatible with what I wanted. I imitated a return and was advised I would receive a return shipping label. After several days still no shipping label. How long does it take for this company to initiate a shipping label?

HME is a company that supports disabled people to be able to carry on there life as normal as can be .Their staff is very helpful when ordering equipment or parts , and even will straighten out your mess when you order the wrong part , very helpful, Thanks HME for your support!!

I found this site on Google while searching for rollator parts. I was skeptical at first as we should be when dealing with an unknown website. I made my first order for a part and crossed my fingers (I've been duped before by other phishing sites). The followup emails and tracking numbers came the next day and a few days after that, my item showed up. I was relieved and very satisfied. The part was exactly what I ordered and brand new. I ordered a part for another rollator and sure enough, the communication was on point, the shipping was fast, and the part was brand new and exactly what I ordered. I am very happy with HME Medical Shop. I have read some of the other reviews left by customers and while I have never had a reason to contact HME about returns and such, I am very pleased with their service and I will do business with them again if I need any additional rollator parts.

It required me giving three negative reviews on three different sites, but I finally got my refund.
