I am very happy with my beanie, lightweight for milder days and when it does get colder it makes a good underlayer for coat hood. You shouldn’t be disappointed.

I want to tell you about the worst experience ever with your boots. I received your boots later than expected due to shipping taking hands so almost for my hunt had to run out and buy boots last minute. Nevertheless they did come in and “fit great” so I was good to go a didn’t bring 2 pair of boots because of the fit. During my elk hunt I noticed problems with the cam laces keep popping up and loosening. While this was annoying I didn’t realize it would end my hunt. On the 2nd day wearing them while recovering a nice 6x6 bull I shot I was climbing down a steep embankment when my left boots cam came undone causing me to slip and fall busting my leg and causing me not only to not recover my elk but send me to the ER and effectively end my hunt all together. My boot is soaked in blood and for a $500 pair of boots I couldn’t be more mad about my purchase. When I got back from my trip and told Hillman about my experience they denied even replacing my boots. They said exactly "If we had been notified immediately, we would have gladly exchanged the pair or addressed the issue immediately to make sure you could use the boots safely. I would not buy these boots, its not worth the risk and their customer service is poor at best not even offering an exchange or discount on a new pair. DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS

Response to your response to my review . I told you I was one hour away from the closest town. I didn’t have any other boots to wear, and there was no way to notify you a problem. It’s not like I can take a one week Hunt stop driving to town. Return my boots and end my hunt because of your boots. Your reasoning to not replace these boots is ridiculous The incident happened on the second day about 7 in the morning again. What was I supposed to do an hour away from the nearest town? No way to contact you because of no service. I’m just confused. The boots were worn for two days, not even a day and an hour. This is a cop out to just not cover the boots like I said in the back-and-forth this is not about money. This is about a company standing up and taking responsibility for something that wasn’t working and caused me to have a bad Hunt. I didn’t blame you for my injury. I blamed you for bad boots and rather than step up and say oh let me replace your boots. You give me this cop out of. We’re not doing anything. This is why I’m writing this review because I’m extremely dissatisfied in your company and your customer service. You also threatened me legal actions if I wrote this review and to be honest bring it on. Everything I said was true and I just wanted my boots covered. I hope people reading this sees the company you are based on my review and your response.

I bought the alpha rain jacket and rain pants off of Hillman’s website. I received in the mail and immediately tried on. I couldn’t even get them on they were sized super small and didn’t fit my body type. I ordered and measured exactly how they told me to. I emailed and called them several times in the next 2 weeks trying to get return directions for a refund. After finally after 2 weeks they finally emailed back directions and set up a return label. Conveniently in there return policy your supposed to return with 14 working days. How do you do this when you can’t get someone to answer phone or emails. I’m disappointed in the customer service and after I shipped back it’s been 2 weeks and I’m still waiting on a refund.

Boots A + Customer service response C Would help to disclose to customers if boots shipping from Europe or US. Just let us know, no big deal.

Fell good on my feet lot different then other boots I have had I no I will enjoy them yes I would buy again it the future

Good boots no break fit right out of the box

Jacket it’s amazing and fit perfectly but I have an issue with pants,looks like it’s not 2x . Quality made, probably I’ll exchange the pants with a 3x. Per total I’m very happy with the purchase. Best regards, Ion Cernat

Great boots easy use website, the comfort and quality of these boots is far superior than any that I have owned in the past 30+ years, great concept, I wish they made the same boot but taller geared towards the snake filled southern swamp and hill hunters, using them with snake chaps is our only option

Talk by phone to customers. Never in my life have I done business with a company that I could not reach by phone!!!

Purchased a pair of $400 boots. When they finally arrived from Bulgaria I had to pay import duties before DHL would release them. I tried them on and they were way too big and now after multiple unanswered emails I have no way to exchange them.

I ordered on July 26.....it is now September 19th. The boots have not shown up and the tracking info is worthless.

Quality products in the nature space are hard to find. This brand has nailed it. The fit is exceptional, the fabric feels good on, and the prices were solid for what they are offering - excellent natural fabric gear. Why should you choose natural fabrics on your skin? Because plastics are hormone disruptors, and this has been proven in studies - even animal studies with clothing. You pay for what you get. Shop here if you don't want to down regulate your testosterone, if you want to smell less in the field (yes Smell Less because synthetics get disguisting quickly and natural fibers do not), and support small business.

Just tried them on today, got them a half size larger than uninsulated pair to where with heavy wool socks when hunting in Alberta especially. I’ll see then if they keep me warm.

I recently returned from a back country archery hunt in Colorado. Reluctantly, I purchased my Hillman boots to prepare for this hunt. I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a pair of hunting boots, but boy am I glad that I did!

I’m a big guy 6’4 225lbs and I’ve always struggled traversing steep inclines without slipping and conversely I typically struggle mightily with steep descents too.
These boots were not only extremely comfortable, but the traction and light weight greatly helped me while hiking steep inclines at over 10,000 feet. They held up on rugged rocky terrain, dry through mountain streams and comfortable while on horseback for miles.
The best part about these boots, beyond their amazing functionality while hunting, was the ease of stepping out of them after a long and tiring day.
I will definitely be purchasing more boots from Hillman. I have an upcoming rifle hunt where the temps should be cooler and I want to see if my feet, historically cold, will actually stay warm, as they are now no longer wet from morning dew, or from stream crossings.
I’m grateful to have these as a fundamental part of my gear and I’ll gladly spend the money, again and again because these boots are truly worth it.

Never received my order, ordered pants but still waiting.

Boots were delivered way behind schedule. They arrived finally and size was not even close to standard size 10. Returned them and hope they send next size down or credit my card. Customer service is sketchy and return policy is horrible
