Total Rip-Off – Overpriced, Tiny Park with Terrible Food!
Do not waste your hard-earned money on Hidropark Alcúdia. At €120 for two adults and two kids, the entry price is complete extortion for what is offered. To make matters worse, they subject everyone to strict bag searches at security specifically to confiscate your own food and force you to buy theirs.
Once inside, the food is astronomical in price and utterly disgusting—low-quality, mystery-meat burgers and unpalatable fast food - the burgers are a low grade mix of pork and chicken, and ours (and the kids) was cold and raw - were expecting a bout of food poisoning as a result - staff confirmed burger compositions, and that they are made on site, but didn't care in the slightest when we raised concerns of food poisoning, just shrugging their shoulders.
The park itself is exceedingly small. There are only about seven main slides—none of which are remotely for thrill-seekers—a couple of basic child slides, and a wave pool. Because the selection is so limited, the park feels packed to the brim, resulting in absurdly long wait times for very basic rides.
The water in the pools tasted noticeably salty, which makes you seriously question the filtration and cleanliness. On top of the huge ticket price, they charge extra for parking and add further rental charges if you want a sunbed. To round off the experience, all you hear all day is constant, piercing whistling from overzealous lifeguards.
Avoid this place—Majorca has far better ways to spend a day and €120+.
