Imagine being stuck in lockdown with no income and no one to turn to. I am an orphan with no one in the name of family. Giving tuitions is my only source of income. I was scared thinking that this pandemic would ruin things for me. But fortunately, I am associated with a beautiful bunch of people who continued giving me assignments knowing my situation. HeyTutor, Thank you for making me a part of your family.

I don’t know how many people leave reviews here and not even sure anyone is going to read this. But if someone in authority is reading my review, please know that my son’s tutor, Rachel is the best English tutor and she deserves a raise and recognition. She is fantastic.

I wish I had read the reviews here prior to signing up with HeyTutor. They indeed are very quick to take your money up-front, and then effectively disappear. The tutor I was put in contact with after specifying what I was after was not a fit. After that, I never heard back from them; once they have your money, they're done.

I called today to get my account cancelled, they will not do it. I haven't experienced anything like this for the 5 years I've been living in the US.

Absolutely horrible-they do not stand by their policy, they take your money up front and do not refund you if you have an issue with a tutor -waste of time and money , i would not recommend them at all

Philosophy can turn out to be very boring at times and it really requires constant push and anecdotes to keep you going with the subject. My tutor from heytutor is a philosophy professor and is excellent at his subject. Whenever he takes my session, I love the subject even more.

My son is autistic but at the same time, he is very talented and very interested in drawing and painting. She spotted his talents and adjusted her approach according to his behaviour. She is extremely patient and very kind. I can clearly see that my son is relatively calmer when she is around and seems very happy when she arrives to teach him. He has started conversing with her with ease and I feel she is the best suited tutor for him. She knows how to handle him and his reactions towards different activities. My tutor, Frank is one of his kind. No other tutor can match him as he is extremely talented, learned and so knowledgeable that sometimes you feel even if you spend a whole life, you won’t be able to grab all his skills.
