Heytutor Arvostelua

I wasn's doing so well in AP chemistry. I called HeyTutor and they assigned me an all-star tutor. If it wasn't for them, I don't think I would have passed. Hoping they deliver on the SAT tutor as well. Will keep everyone updated.

Stay away from this scam. They charge you up front for large package of sessions before ever finding a tutor that meets your needs or schedule. When they fail to find a tutor they then refuse to refund your money. We are at a loss of $900 with no tutoring. They refuse to return phone calls and claim there is no one in the office to help. Very unethical.

I contacted Hey Tutor to help find someone to help me with basic writing and grammar for business communication. I was VERY unhappy with my initial tutor. They were phenomenal in not only finding me a fantastic replacement, but crediting me for the hours with the initial tutor. I found customer service to be empathetic and professional.

We had contacted many companies to find a tutor to prep our daughter specifically for the AP German exam. Heytutor was the only company in the greater Los Angeles area to even be able to offer this. Their gamut of subject experts was far superior to that of the competition. They also made suggestions as to an appropriate amount of lead time needed to prepare for the exam and had practice exams available if needed. Most importantly, the tutor herself, Eli K, was nothing short of outstanding. Eli is a native speaker, caring and highly competent. In fact, our daughter stated that she had never had such a good tutor. The end result was that our daughter scored a perfect 5 on the AP exam. Hiring Heytutor was worth every penny. Thank you!

Heytutor is a really good company. They work with you to pair you with a tutor that will be best for you. The tutors know what they are talking about and really want to help. I would recommenced the service to anyone because this experience helped me to pass the test I needed to pass. It is worth every penny.

Highly recommend hey tutor to anyone, the staff did wonderful job, thank you!

On time flexible and instructed in a way that I understood
I would recommend

My Quickbooks tutor, Ray Jung, was excellent, found incorrect entries to be the reason our Quickbooks was not giving us good reports. Thank you!

Recently called there, and management refused to provide any information besides very general responses. Wanted to know if they could provide Master's degrees in the particular field I needed, and if so, how many. Female manager kept providing the same generalized response that they "could not provide any specifics on their tutors" unless I paid for a package. I explained that I was merely asking whether they had a pool of tutors in my area that could meet my very basic requirements. Each time, I was met with the same response: "We cannot provide any specifics on their tutors." When I informed her that I was not asking for any specifics aside from whether they even had tutors, she responded that she "couldn't provide anything more to the conversation without me buying a package." WHY would anyone buy a package if they can't even tell you if they can provide you tutors with a Master's degree? WHO would pay $1000's only to be told, "yeah, sorry, we don't have anyone that meets your needs, but we do have Bachelor's degrees if that works?" No. No, it doesn't. Literally the strangest, robotic phone call I've ever encountered. Comcast was more helpful.

I was struggling with Trigonometry when normally I make excellent grades. Jacob Capra was an excellent match. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I ended up with an A in the class. He also has a way of teaching that explains everything in easier terms for a learning student. Thank you Jacob and hey Tutor!!!

Biostatistics was extremely difficult for me. I was having a hard time finding a local tutor. I came across HeyTutor and they matched me up with a local Biostats tutor. If it wasn't for them, I would probably be using an online solution. Definitely using Heytutor next school year

I highly recommend HeyTutor. I needed help with the LSAT. Within a short amount of time... like 2 days, they linked me up with someone awesome.

An incredible company with wonderful staff. I had a great experience with the tutor they matched me with, and the tools they offer are a plus! Definitely give them a shot!

Great place to work.
I truly recommend to any student or teacher to have a quality education and enjoy the professionalism.

I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE TO ANYONE
HeyTutor was supposed to find a perfect tutor for my College daughter, she needed help with college calculus. We had to pay 750 dollas upfront since the salesperson will not start looking for the tutor until they get payment for minimum of ten classes.
They never found a tutor for my daughter. They gave her one contact after several E-Mails and phone calls. She never received any tutoring.

After I called several times and told them that i wanted my money back or else I was reporting the incident with the Better Business Bureau, they gave me 600 dollars refund and they took 150 dollars for nothing since they never sent a tutor for my daughter and she never received any class.

We absolutely cannot recommend HeyTutor.

Totally disappointed! They said HeyTutor will find a perfekt tutor for my 8 year old son, he just needs someone with experience in teaching second language kids or even just someone who helpes him learning English. We paid 1800 dollar, after second contact. Until today, no tutor or even a “match” for my 8 year old son. They gave me just one contact after several E-Mails, we never saw this mysterious woman named “Selma” or even got an appointment.

After that expressing we want to have our money back, nobody answers! We have to talk to our lawyer now to get our money back. We absolutely cannot recommend HeyTutor.

Competent staff and well vetted tutors. A little pricey, but highly recommended if you're looking for top quality tutors. Its also in-person tutoring... super hard to find these days.

Thank you soooo much for everything guys! Passed my finals! Look forward to working with you next year. Thanks again!

No issues what so ever with Heytutor . Seems like most of these negative reviews are issues with payment, rather than the quality of service. I've used Heytutor for around 3 years now, and they get it right every time.

Prafulla tutored my son in algebra 2. She was fantastic! She was really knowledgeable on the subject and as a result was able to present it in a very understandable way. I am so grateful that she was our tutor. I highly recommended her.
