Hey Baby 4D - Derby Arvostelua 23

Have a terrible experience with waiting and calling again and again. The test results were late and not provided within the agreed period. My partner was visiting the UK and wanted to shop for the baby before left, however the results too arrived late, after partner had already left the UK. The staff were friendly during our visit, however, for us, the delay ultimately made the whole experience a waste of time. So it was not fit for purpose.

Quite disappointed to be honest as you get so much less value for money now. When I had a 4D scan with my first daughter back in 2022, I got loads of digital photos and the full video included in the price! I went recently with my second child and Now you have to pay a lot extra for that so I only came away with 3 printed photos so that was really disappointing and I just feel the service has decreased massively. You can get the full pack at other places included. I also don’t think they selected the best 3 photos as I saw them taking them on the screen and there were a couple of better ones. I also didn’t think the sonographer was great, she just came across as quite cold and I felt a bit awkward.

Went on the 5th and 15th Feb to hey baby 4D in derby and both scans felt rushed. The sonographer, Blessing, was emotionless and cold.
As someone from another country myself I could barely understand her.
They referred me to EPU in Burton and I had my scan today 17/2/2025 and they found a fetal pole and yolk sac measuring a further than what they measured me at which was 5 weeks and then 5w 6d, however unfortunately the baby didn't survive regardless.
I think Hey baby 4D scan in derby needs to invest in some new machines!!
Either way I think sonographers should be compassionate and heartwarming to people's pregnancies, no matter if they scan 50 people a day or 10 people a day and I didn't feel like that with this one. It felt dismissive, cold and she could barely crack a smile. I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last one standing.

I will say that the receptionists seemed alright and I was offered a refund for the gender blood test that's the only 2 positives.

We came here for our gender scan and had the most welcoming, calm beautiful experience! We wanted our gender to be a surprise and both the ultrasound tech and lady on reception were both incredibly accommodating and supportive. Baby girl was being awkward and we had to have a break to walk around and they managed to fit us in so quickly afterwards working around other appointments to ensure we still got to find out our gender on the day. I can’t thank the team enough, you made the experience so magical and exciting every step of the way.

Great experience. Amazing service. Such a positive vibe in the clinic. Both ladies made me feel easy.

I love how friendly both receptionist were. The sonographer was a sweetheart and she is very reassuring. I definitely will be going back here for my gender scan. Keep up the good work guys.

Amazing experience. Such polite and caring staff that go above and beyond to ensure the best service is provided and to make it special. It's my second time going here for my gender scan and both times I've been impressed. Would never go anywhere else.

It was amazing to see our little one in 4D. The staff at Hey Baby were so friendly and welcoming. The scanning room felt cosy and had plenty of space for a wheel chair. Unlike NHS scans, the gel was lovely and warm too which Is a great bonus. They take great care of you here and would definitely recommend Hey Baby if you're wanting a 4D scan or an extra scan doing for peace of mind.

I am having to give only 1 star on this company because the service i was provided was not what i expected. Here is why.

I booked in to have a reassurance scan at 6 weeks and when i booked this i was actually 5 weeks so by the time i was due to go and have the scan i would of been 6 weeks. I went to the scan and baby wasnt there which was probably normal, but both sacs were showing i was then told to come back 2 weeks later which i did and still no baby. They told me i was about 8 weeks and they said a baby should be there at this stage i then had to wait for them to make an appt at the hospital for me which i got an appt went on the day and had an internal scan and the hospital found baby straight away and told me the correct dates but because this company had messed all the dates up but now i have another appt with the hospital within a week time to see if check on baby. So unfortunately i will never be attending this place or recommending it. This conpany got me really scared and upset.

Excellent and such friendly enviroment ,very professional and support you during your scan,
Gives more information then nhs to make sure you know baby is well and growing ,
Will be going back at 28 weeks.

We have visited twice now, once at 8 weeks and again at 10 weeks and both times we have felt well looked after. We felt the scans were both very thorough and we were made to feel at ease. For someone who constantly worries these have been fab for me to have some peace of mind.

Took my daughter for a early scan, the lady who done the scan was amazing,explained everything to her even the lady’s on reception are so lovey and friendly, time keeping is brilliant we will be booking again in 8 weeks for the gender reveal I’m so excited to become a nanny 😁

Our second time coming to hey baby 4d and amazing service by the sonographer. The reception staff could of been trained better for customer service but the overall scan was great. Would highly recommend

My experience at hey baby was lovely
From start to finish, nice spacious room and the lady was amazing. Made me feel at ease and calm on ny early 7 week scan. Everything was explained and I’ll be back very soon for more
