The therapist assigned to my group is wonderful, insightful, and helpful!

They do a really good job communicating with you each step of the way. You'll get placed in a group of like minded individuals who provide unique perspectives from all walks of life. I was hesitant at first but now I look forward to my weekly group.

I have been on Hero Journey for about 6 weeks now and I gotta say, it's helped my social anxiety. Of course I still struggle with it and a ton of other stuff, but this is another resource I can rely on and help me on my mental health journey along with other similar people! I'm glad to have found this safe space and I 100% recommend this to anyone struggling with anything similar.

The facilitator and group are amazing! I feel welcome and look forward to the next session every time.

Once a week you get an hour and a half of hanging out with likeminded gamers, and chatting about life, struggles, and how you're doing- for the price of a doordash order. The value is unreal, and I'm so glad I found this to supplement my regular therapy.

It's clearly growing, and they're still figuring out some things- but the core of it, the actual club sessions, have been flawless so far and I look forward to them every week.

Would highly recommend to anyone craving support, advice, or even just more socializing.

I am three weeks in with my current group. We are all able to open up, share our weeks and help each other through rough times and celebrate good times. Our guide encourages conversation and engages with everyone. The over all help I have gotten is just being able to express my thoughts, getting things off my chest, without being judged. If you are on the fence, definitely worth a try.

Program in general has been helpful and good quality.
Our counselor is always prepared and our group seems to be well matched.

After my first, unfortunately poor match-up, I made the brave decision to give it another go with a different group. Boy, am I glad that I did. I have since met the group of kindest, most caring individuals I may have ever met in a group therapy setting. The counselor guides us well while allowing us to have our fun. I feel that I have already developed a much more positive, hopeful outlook with my new "party", so to speak. I would recommend this service to any gamer who has been hesitant about trying out group therapy settings.

Additionally, I would recommend that those who have never sought out 1-on-1 therapy seek that out first prior to diving into groups.

This has been such a great experience. The people are nice and listen very well. Everyone is welcoming and the group atmosphere is open to talking about anything. It is fun playing games while others talk which avoids the awkward silence.

Our journey guide, Caffrey is super nice and helpful. My first few weeks we didn’t have our session due to lack of people but even then the chats I had with Caffrey were really sweet and helpful. The other members even if we don’t have much in common are super nice and I enjoy providing and getting advice! Even when I don’t have much going on in my weeks and don’t have anything to share Caffrey still finds something ask me about to get me to share even when I didn’t feel like it was all that interesting. Also being neurodivergent, my rambling and awkwardness has never been a problem in my group and we also all bond over health issues with some of them having chronic illnesses like me. This group really gives me some nice comfortable social time in the week which is especially important on the weeks I can’t leave my house.

It has been really nice to be able to talk to other people about my daily struggles. I have really enjoyed getting to lay video games while doing therapy because I don't feel so on edge and I do feel like I am able to be more authentic to myself. I really feel like this has been good and my husband has defiantly noticed a welcome change in behavior and how I am able to cope with somethings better. I appreciate this group and honestly it has helped me. I cant wait to continue my journy

Having a group of people to share my problems with and be honest with is huge. I feel like they listen and everyone in the group gives helpful feedback.

I am really enjoying my time with my group and with our guide Trent! The questions are thought provoking, he really engages with our comments and personal concerns, and I believe our group is well matched. Very excited to see what progress happens next!

The journey guides are extremely helpful, guiding the groups I've been in to help work through and discuss weekly topics and issues, and find solutions to common challenges those in the group face.
