The heater channel i purchased for my beetle had metal across all the chassis fixing captive nuts so no bolts would go in.
I had to drill the metal that was in the way and then tap the holes to enable me to bolt to chassis.
I did email heritage about it and they said some things arnt checked for quality as they come from supplier ready for shipping striaght out.

Absolutely horrible packaging, the quarter panel was just put in a standard cardboard box with a couple strips of brown paper in it, then shipped internationally. Shocking. Part was bent up and the package was torn open so badly DHL had to tape it back up. Then the part itself was not nearly as well formed as the original part, soft creases, rippled flanges. They are the only game in town so they will stay in business but there needs to be a higher quality competitor. For $600 with shipping this is a joke.

Heritage goes above and beyond. Being in the UK, and sending parts to Texas, I expected a long delivery window, but it did arrive quicker than I thought. One thing that happened was that the package came in cut open, with no parts (Customs I assume). I reached out to Heritage to let them know of the situation. Not one pushback, they resent the same parts again. This time the package will be delivered within 3 days of me reaching out. This is so AWESOME! Heritage was the only place I could find a special lug bolt for may car. They are too good to do this for me. I will be back for more parts!

Just be aware of the quality issues
of the EMPI carbs Herritage Parts provide and level of real world support of they offer, I recently purchased a kit (34ICT duals) for my rebuilt T1 1641 motor. Not only did they ship with 150 mains supposidly bolt on for 1300 to 1600cc (where a 1641cc on there website suggest 145s which are smallse so the are miss jetted), but the pump housing machining is substandard / miss drilled causing them to leak baddly, also the brass vacum pipe pickup pipe pulled out of the housing when trying to remove the vacuum to
distributor pipe (apparently its my job to push it back in??) To get any solution the only option offered is to removed and retun the entire kit leaving my car unusable. I will be avoidong EMPI products and Herritage where possible, not easy in the UK. Lesson learned - buy genuine, not chinese copies if you value your sanity. A V O I D

Hello, no, I'm disappointed because you state on your website that the belts I bought were 9.5 mm wide, and you're sending 10 mm belts. I have a 1991 Golf 1 Cabriolet, and the original belt should be 9.5 mm, not 10 mm, so yes, I'm very disappointed. Sincerely,
