HelpWire is remote access software for IT teams and technicians providing support across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Sessions start through a link: the remote user joins without creating an account or entering credentials, which reduces the coordination overhead. HelpWire sessions rely on direct peer-to-peer connections whenever possible, with relay fallback as a backup. For follow-up, unattended access lets technicians return to a device later without the remote user present, including after reboots.

Thing to fix

1) You need to fix the UAC prompt problem.
2) You need to fix the consultant's console so the internet disconnect reconnect the same as does from the web portal
3) you need to come up with a way to connect when the client does not have or their eMail is malfunctioning.
4) you need to fix the upgrade to administrator crash problem

This should not reflect badly on the excellent tech support they offer.

1. We'd like to dig into this properly. Could you share more detail about what's happening — for example, when the prompt appears, how often, and whether it blocks the session from continuing? If you can gather logs from the troubleshooting guide at https://kb.helpwire.app/troubleshooting/ and send them through to support@helpwire.app, that'll give us the clearest path to a fix.

2. We want to make sure we fully understand the behavior you're seeing before we investigate, so the same question applies here: could you describe what happens step by step? Logs from both the operator and client sides would be really helpful — the troubleshooting guide above covers both.

3. This is something we're actively thinking about. Alternative connection methods are on our roadmap, though we don't have a specific timeline to share just yet. We'll keep you posted as things develop.

4. We're sorry to hear this is happening. A crash on admin rights elevation is something we want to look at closely, so any detail you can add — what triggers it, which OS, whether it's consistent — along with logs sent to support@helpwire.app will help us track it down.

I test this tool for the first time

I tested this tool for the first time, compare to teamviewer is this tool must better. And then i mean for just remote connections. After reboot, the connection is restored automatically.

So a great tool, keep up the good work !!

I had a few intermittent problems with…

I had a few intermittent problems with using the program, each time I contacted support they came through with suggestions and a genuine helpful attitude. As for now I have put the program through some pretty serious testing and can say that I am fully satisfied.

New to HelpWire but impresssed

Just tried for the 1st time today & impressed. The copy & paste command works great for copying files to & from remote computer. I will try again. Used it for 5 hours straight today & no glitches!

Helpwire es una excelente plataforma…

Helpwire es una excelente plataforma para trabajar en forma remota, soy Contador Independiente y esta plataforma me permite trabajar desde la PC de mis clientes, usando el Sistema Contable de cada Cliente, me parece una excelente herramienta de trabajo. enormemente agradecida por el servicio que prestan

I use it mostly to manage my mom's…

I use it mostly to manage my mom's Computer who lives abroad, as well as professionally with the rest of my family and friends.
It is great for business, simple, and reliable. It doesn't time out which is a great feature.
I will become a happy buyer of this product when the time comes. Can't be more thankful for this long freebie times.
