Heavy Metal Magazine Arvostelua 

My wife took out a subscription for Suneater. Got one issue and heard nothing beyond that. They won't respond ot calls, emails or social media. They just took her £100 and waltzed off with it. Utter scum.

I did not get 2 issues of my three year subscription. I contacted the company to let them know this and they said they would get back with me within 2 to 4 days and asked for me to send the information on my subscription so I did. I have not heard from him in two weeks. I got two issues after the missing issues to end my subscription but I would like the missing issues to be delivered.

If I could give this a -5 I would. It started with an online order that was never received. I tried on multiple occasions, via their trusty email, to contact customer service with no response. The BBB isn’t having much luck either, after I filed a complaint against Heavy Metal. DO NOT give this company your money, I wouldn’t even buy from a brick and mortar at this point. Boycott Heavy Metal until issues with online customer service is resolved!

No product received - bad (no) customer service.
I purchased a graphic novel several months ago. It still hasn't arrived. No big deal, maybe they are slow or forgot. But what really gets me is they don't answer their emails, like at all. I can't quite say they have bad customer service when it seems like they have NO customer service. I would think with a company as big and reputable as Heavy Metal, this would be a no brainer. Judging by the other reviews, this seems to be a regular thing.... sheesh..

Really poor customer service, no reply. My account has been hacked and I did not get any reply from them. Magazines have stopped coming through even tho I have 2 year subscription. Please avoid any online purchases and buy your comics from approved local stores.

Heavy Metal continues to take customers' money and never fulfill subscriptions or other orders. Like so many others (just glance at their social media comments), I ultimately resorted to filing a PayPal claim to claw my money back. Contact them and straighten it out, you say? Nice thought, but they also don't return emails or other messages. I have to imagine they'll face a class-action, eventually. Buy their products at a brick and mortar, if you must have them, but absolutely do not give your money directly to them.

I have payed for 2 IronMaiden comics, and receive nothing. They take my money, and don't answer any e-mails (the 28/08/2021).

News=> I receive my 2 comics (the 25/11/2022) ! so good at the end, but i don't understand why they just didn't inform their customers...

For a magazine as iconic as Heavy Metal, it seems like they have REALLY gone downhill. I ordered the international subscription months ago and haven’t received a single issue yet… and from what I’ve seen online I am not the only one. They do not respond back to emails or offer you other options (e.g. refunds).

I would avoid buying from them directly, as it appears they are just so disorganized that they can’t ship things.

Update: After what I can only assume is luck, they reach out to me (after many emails) and offered to refund me for my subscription. I have received the refund. The refund was quick.

Conclusion: I wouldn't order from them directly again, which is a real shame. Hopefully they will figure out where they are going wrong, because a lot of really loyal customers seem to be getting burned by supporting them directly. If you want to buy Heavy Metal, make sure you buy it in a shop!

Paid for sub. Never received any mags. No response (TRIED THREE TIMES) from web page about this problem. Great mag but something smells bad.

Renewed my 3 year subscription in January. Now 3 months and no issues. Checking online and finding widespread complaints. People who have been loyal customers for 20 or 25 years are finding their money gone and no issues. Something has happened there. I may be out of my money. I'd prefer the mags be delivered but this is now worrisome.

Ordered from these in November, goods never arrived and still haven't. Used their website's contact page 3 times, automated reply 3 times saying someone will be in touch, nobody ever got back to me..... Raised a complaint to Paypal, they seemingly ignored them as well as Paypal found in my favour and refunded the cost of what I'd spent..... Very poor customer service.
