I've gotten my cycling sunglasses from Heavyglare for almost 15 years now. They have technology (Shamir) that allows correction for my significant astigmatism across the entire surface of the lens, no matter how curved. No one in Chicago offers this. Grant is informed, helpful and asks the right questions.

Honestly one of the best experiences buying anything in my entire life! I have a very severe prescription, which many labs have refused to create sunglasses for over the years. If you wear glasses these sunglasses work great. They fit over most styles and protect from glare and wind on the side. They are really good for boating.

I have been buying prescription sunglasses from Heavyglare since 2006. I have tried Oakley prescription sunglasses, but I always go back to Heavy glare for the quality and customer service.

The glasses are good quality and were recommended by the low vision specialist at Duke Univ. Shipment was immediate. We received each pair of glasses within two days. My husband tried two different colors, but because of his special conditions with his eye disease, wasn't able to use either color.The other available colors wouldn't work either. However, service of this company is excellent. They told us to return both pairs and we'll get a full refund. There were no questions asked. I would highly recommend this company.
