Mad I cant give negative + smh this is the worse thing ive ever seen in my life and ive done insurance please don't use this insurance they are thieves exactly. Anything that has to do with TrustPilot are crooks crooks smh how do yall let them keep doing this im going to report them to bbb

Do not use this company! Somebody by the name of Miguel (a representative of Health Insurance Marketplace) put me, my husband and my daughter on a plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield fraudulently. We have state Medicaid and have never used Blue Cross Blue Shield. I didn't even know about being put on BCBS until I went on the hospital for a stroke, and was told that BCBS was active and wouldn't pay for anything. I had to call the Health Insurance Marketplace and report this "Miguel" for stealing our personal information. I've also reported them for allowing people to sign someone up for health insurance without their permission. BCBS has been messing everything up; from denying Physical Therapy, denying medications, and hospital/doctor visits. I didn't give anyone permission to sign me up for that dumpster fire of a company. I had to return everything back to my original Medicaid and have also reported the hospitals who showed that I had BCBS and refused to remove the insurance since it was my "primary" and it has never been. Had to cancel this insurance immediately just for everything to get back to my Medicaid.

Unsolicited phone calls. Multiple phones calls a day. Do not want to be contacted. I have reported to the FTC for harassment.

After talkng with someone, i had to decline as i couldnt afford insurance. I even told them this. This is day 3 and theyre still calling me from different numbers, saying they're gonna call back, laughing at me, talking over me. Ive had to block a total of 4 different numbers!! Dont go through them. Do NOT go through them!!

Don’t get market place insurance it’s a scam. Please read reviews before selecting any kind of insurance.

If I'd never paid for the premium how do I have insurance and how can they turn in to the IRS on 1098 form this is BS this marketplace they pay up people to go on the streets $5 for the homeless people to sign their names up they do not check IDs they don't ask it for any identification I know because I was one of the victims that's why the IRS is holding my 24-20-25 taxes I've never had their b******* before I have my own private insurance now how can they say I have insurance through them. Marketplace needs deported to the better Business bureau because they are a scam and they're very fraudulent in their insurance sucks no need to contact me because you have three face man supervisor looked after supervisor then the manager looks out for the supervisor please take me off of your damn mailing list I want proof that I'm not on your insurance

Agent Kevin Somaza is an absolute delight. He was kind, patient and so helpful. He helped me get my 1095A form that I couldn’t pull up on my own on the Healthcare.gov website and thats with changing username and password too.
I wish I could make copies of Mr Kevin Somaraz he is exactly what the world needs more of. Made it so easy and even shared a way I could contact him again if I had more questions or if I ran into new problems. KEVIN WAS SO AWESOME- HE DESERVES A RAISE & A HUGE PAT ON THE BACK. Seriousply.

PLEASE I’m begging you do NOT get any form of health insurance through the marketplace. Whenever it comes down to your taxes, they will ruin you and make you wait 45 days to generate a FORM. I have not been able to file my taxes and every time I call in to check on my escalated case nobody has any answers for me. Dealing with the marketplace has been nothing but a nightmare and their agents are trained NOT to escalate the call to a supervisor. I’m not sure what kind of sweat shop they’re running, but it’s literally horrible.. do NOT do it! I have been dealing with this issue since January. It’s almost April and no one has any answers for me. Literally all I need is my 1098 a form.

They dont help you. I asked for some info to try and figure something out and the rep refused to help me. Thanks for being dumb and ignorant

I had a phenomenal experience with Healthcare.gov tonight. I am an agent and called in with a weird problem that occurred when a client who lost Medicaid was trying to get added to marketplace coverage with a special enrollment period. Ms Norma Purcell worked with me for what seemed like forever, but didn't give up. And when she had to put me on hold, she kept coming back keeping me informed of what was going on. She totally helped me resolve a problem for my clients who needed the coverage for March 1st start. She is worth more than 5 stars. God bless Norma Purcell!!

I never signed up for this someone in Florida stole my information the marketplace insurance should have asked for proof of id now Ive been fighting them to get my 1095A for my taxes since 2/1/26 I have takes to 13 different people and all different answers they need to start checking by asking to send proof of id and a lease I live in Ohio thank god I file taxes I would have never known they r to slow

They are fraudulently signing people up from the marketplace on Amber healthcare. I did not sign up for it. Somehow I got signed up for it in January 2026 and last year the year 2025 I did not give them permission to put me on their insurance, I work I make too much to have their insurance. I called them. They were supposed to have it investigated as fraud and they lied. I got a letter saying that I voluntarily declined it. They’re nothing but liars and they’re ripping everybody off. They need to be investigated. Obama healthcare needs to be done with. It’s all fraud.

Was double billed for my insurance plans since two marketplace overlapped and one was supposed to start the following month, not at the same time as the other. They refuse to fix their error.

Oh my goodness, the customer service representative named Akeria Brooks was absolutely amazing! Not only does she have the patience of a saint, but she was able to know exactly what to do in order to fix the problem I was having and correct some information that I entered in incorrectly when I first set up my account. She was patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable in helping me find the problem! Get that girl raise and have her teach all the other operators because she was amazing!

As someone who is self employed, it is really frustrating being stuck using healthcare.gov as my ONLY option.

The marketplace plans (what you find on healthcare.gov) ALL have to have certain parameters that the plans stay in. They are not nearly the same health insurance plans that a big company would offer.

Most decent medical providers refuse to accept marketplace plans. Even when you look at your provider's website for "in network" and start calling down the list-they will say "that list is incorrect, we do not accept your insurance". I halfway think that the insurance companies just make a random list.

Since the plans are somewhat "low budget"-the insurance companies actually split off the marketplace plans to a separate division. So when you need assistance (like when NO ONE accepts your insurance) and try to call, the first thing that is asked is if you have a marketplace plan-if so you get transferred to that side of the company. Once transferred to that side you get routed to someone overseas who hardly speaks english and will end up hanging up the phone when they do not have an answer. This is after waiting on hold for over an hour. You can call back, but the same thing happens over and over. When you try to call the insurance company because that side of the company ignores what they cant answer-they also will say "you need to deal with that department, we have no control over it". So it is an endless loop of the same experience.

I have been using the marketplace plans for over a decade. It does not matter which company I go with, or which tier I select-the experience is ALWAYS the same. Almost like each plan is a bristle on a broom, but they all go back to the same broom handle.

Stay away if possible.

There is nothing useful here. The way insurance and doctors charge is keeping majority without help and draining funds so we stop seeking help. .gov should do better if they are an actual government for the PEOPLE!.

Can we give a zero? Had a knee replacement done, checked all the therapy options through our insurance company prior to surgery, which is marketplace, only to find that they lie, and none of the people on their list will accept the insurance and so post knee replacement, I can’t get therapy. Save your money, save yourself and get real insurance! Been going through this for over a week now and absolutely no one will take this “insurance”, for lack of a better more accurate term.

I’m a single mom who recently lost her job and health insurance. I thought this would be a good way to get coverage while I look for employment. I’m not sure how they expect me to pay $500-$1000 MONTHLY for my own insurance while unemployed. They stated my child didn’t even qualify and that I should put him on Medicaid (during a government shutdown?). The plan they suggested I get was a special plan for people with COPD. I don’t have COPD…This website is a joke.
