Immediate jeopardy complaint
One month, 13 times they went back and fourth with my doctor regarding the delivery of the cgm they had been sending for two years. Medicare rules say two low readings are required to be certified at the beginning. After that, medicare states no more low readings are required. Home Care Delivered says that not true even when provided Medicare copy of the Medicare web site, Finally, after a month, they received al the information. My doctor provided two low readings even though origonal Medicare said not required. It was 56 the two low readings. Home care delivered stated the two low readings have to be 54 and chose to not provide the cgm knowing the risks. The cgm awakes me in the middle of the night when I go low and now I will be with out the alarm. Mediccare claims this is dangerous. Home Care delivered said Medicare made us do it. Medicare refers to this as immediate jeopardy because I can go low in the middle of the night and die. Medicare stated The doctor never had to provide the two low readings and for the two years. prior I never did, Complaints were made in the event I die in the middle of the night so it is on record of wrongful death. The lower level employees are in charge of company policy, this because upper-level employees do not speak to the public. They refused an immediate appeal to their decision. They also failed to address the immediate jeopardy of my having lost my alarm. The company only said rhrough lower level employees medicare made us do it.,
