Absolutely shocked..I’m not getting a…
Absolutely shocked..I’m not getting a hat made in small batches in the UK, but somewhere in China. I feel totally misled by the website and the online advertising and have probably paid way over the odds. It still not arrived in the UK from China and a pity the low paid workers in China who have mass produced the hats. Facebook, Instagram and the particularly the Company whoever they are should be ashamed of the blatant misinformation….sorry for the rant, but it’s true.

It’s very quick easy to do
It’s very quick easy to do. I ordered via the shop but you can pay through Apple PayPal etc so it was a very easy experience just praying the hat is equally isn’t nice. They look incredible. Can’t wait to get it.

Tired of wearing shapeless baseball caps

I bought two caps
I bought two caps, a Denim Vintage Cap and a Herringbone Bush Cap. They're the first order that I have placed with harringtonchatters.com. I've got mixed feelings about the order. The web site gives the impression of a European company but the drop shipment from China put paid to that thought. These days that's pretty much to be expected but it's stiil a bit disappointing. Also the hats have absolutely no labeling on them concerning place of manufacture or fabric content which doesn't meet US product standards but that's not really my problem.
As for the caps themselves, the Denim Vintage Cap is nicely made. I went over it carefully and the stitching is straight and clean throughout. The fabric is lightweight but I live in a very hot & dry location so I actually appreciate that. It fits nicely, the color pretty well matches the web site. All in all it is a very nice cap.
The Herringbone Bush Cap is okay but not as well made as the denim cap. The fabric is a laminated foam material, a soft but very thin herringbone fabric laminated to a foam with a fine synthetic lining. That makes for a warmer cap, it doesn't really breath. It will be fine in the winter but not in the 100° sun. The stitching is also straight but the fabric wasn't trimmed perfectly. There were stray threads that required careful trimming but after that was done the cap looks fine and all the seams are intact. It's comfortable but that will depend on your head size, it isn't adjustable and if you have a smaller hat size it might be a bit loose. Anyway it will make a nice looking winter cap.
All in all for the ~$30 dollar price point they're a whole lot better than any baseball cap.
I'm not too happy with the extent of the faux-European spin of the whole enterprise but I also can't argue with the price point. I really do like the Denim Vintage Cap.

I'll be honest, I'm not normally taken in by scams but the advert for this company was on Instagram so I thought it would be trustworthy. After all the ad showed British customers to this traditional hat makers with a pedigree for making hats for a long time, so I decided to order one. The penny dropped today when I received notification that the hat had been dispatched. However, on closer inspection it said that it had left China and was on its way! The company and the advert are a complete con and front for a cheap Chinese producer. I haven't received the hat yet but I think I know what to expect. Instagram should ban their adverts but I don't suppose they care as long as they're getting some financial benefit from it themselves. I won't be buying anything advertised on Instagram again, it's not worth the risk.
