Horror story do not use these scammers !!
These guys are just scammers!
My flight was delayed getting in around 23.00 and then my bags took a while.
I got a notification from the company to say if I didn't pick up before I would incur a £40 change (there T&C's state £30)
I called them at 23.43 to say I could come out straight away to collect the car, however they said the car wasn't available and they couldn't get it there before the deadline, so I would have to pay the charge.
When I got my car back at 12.10 they gave me the car park ticket to pay, this showed the car arrived in the car park at 23.40. So when I called at 23.43 they knew the car was already in the car park. They just lied to me in order to get me to pay the late collection charge. When trying to address the matter I've just been told it's in their T&C's. They flatly refuse to accept the fact they deliberately lied, which leads me to believe it's not a one off incident but a management endorsed behaviour ! What a disgusting attitude to their customers.
Now I see why they have such an appalling Trust Pilot rating.
⭐️ 1 STAR
⭐️ 1 STAR – ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. AVOID HAPPY DAYS HEATHROW PARKING AT ALL COSTS
I genuinely wish I had read more reviews before trusting Happy Days Heathrow Parking with my car. What should have been a straightforward parking service turned into one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences I have ever had.
From the moment I had to deal with them, I was left completely disgusted by the attitude, arrogance, rudeness and sheer lack of professionalism. The way I was spoken to was absolutely unacceptable. I have dealt with plenty of companies over the years, including companies when things haven’t gone to plan, but I have never encountered such a dismissive and disrespectful attitude towards a customer who has paid for a service.
There was no genuine attempt to listen, no proper attempt to resolve things and certainly no feeling that my concerns mattered. Instead, I was treated as though I was somehow the problem for daring to question what had happened. That isn’t customer service — it’s an appalling way to treat people.
And then there is the issue that really makes my blood boil: my car had approximately HALF A TANK OF DIESEL used while it was in their possession.
Let that sink in.
I handed my vehicle over to a company because I trusted them to look after it while I was away. I did not hand them an open invitation to use my fuel. Coming back to discover that such a significant amount of diesel had disappeared is completely unacceptable.
I expect my car to be returned in the condition I left it in. I expect my fuel to still be in the tank. Most importantly, I expect a company entrusted with my vehicle to treat it with the same basic respect that they would expect someone to show them.
Instead, I was left with the distinct impression that once they had my car and my money, customer service went completely out of the window.
What makes the whole thing even worse is the attitude when concerns were raised. Mistakes can happen. Problems can happen. What separates a decent company from an awful one is how they deal with those problems.
Happy Days Heathrow Parking failed spectacularly on that front.
There was no professionalism, no accountability, no empathy and no respect. Just an attitude that made an already frustrating situation significantly worse.
I don’t expect special treatment. I don’t expect perfection. I expect the absolute basics: don’t be rude to me, don’t dismiss my concerns, treat me with respect and don’t use a substantial amount of fuel from my vehicle without my permission.
Apparently, even that was too much to ask.
The whole experience has completely destroyed any trust I had in this company. If you’re considering using them, ask yourself whether you’re genuinely comfortable handing your keys over to a company after reading this experience.
I certainly wouldn’t do it again.
There are plenty of Heathrow parking companies competing for customers. After this experience, I would rather pay more and use a company I can actually trust than save a few pounds and have to deal with this level of behaviour again.
Happy Days Heathrow Parking? There was absolutely nothing “happy” about my experience.
Rude. Arrogant. Disrespectful. Unprofessional. Completely unacceptable.
I wouldn’t recommend Happy Days Heathrow Parking to anyone, and I certainly won’t ever be using them again.
DO NOT USE HAPPY DAYS PARKING
DO NOT USE
Waited for 40 mins at midnight AFTER calling them 20 mins before that. Our car tracker said the car DO NOT USE HAPPY DAYS PARKING was on site for 30 mins, not in the right place, without the driver contacting us. We don’t know what the driver was doing in that time. He wouldn’t tell us.
He screeched into the car park and the brake pads smelt of burning.
They try to charge you extra if you are more than 20 mins late for dropping off. Unlike other meet and greet services you have to call them 30 minutes before you arrive at the airport. MAKE SURE YOU DO, OR YOU COULD MISS YOUR FLIGHT waiting for them to pick it up.
They try to charge you if your flight is delayed past midnight. Choose Maple Parking or Purple Parking instead!
After you book you get the small print!
The most unprofessional and rude…
The most unprofessional and rude company I have ever dealt with, do not book with this company.
Absolute cowboys - check 20min policy
Absolute cowboys. Beware their 20min window policy, we were 2mins outside on departure due to traffic on M25 (but had rung ahead to notify of eta) and their pick-up guy was insistent we had to pay an extra £20, zero interest in checking car etc, just how i was going to pay him.
worst meet-and-greet experience
Be careful with them. In my experience, they are dishonest, unprofessional, and rude. They seem willing to charge extra whenever possible, even going as far as claiming that your car has problems that don't actually exist in order to bill you for repairs that were never carried out. This was by far my worst meet-and-greet experience, and I would not recommend their services.
I would never use Happy Days Heathrow…
I would never use Happy Days Heathrow Parking again.
Before travelling, their terms stated that there is a 20-minute grace period and that delays “may” result in a £20 charge. Unfortunately, we were delayed due to a traffic incident, so I phoned ahead to let them know. The lady I spoke to never mentioned that an extra charge would apply.
However, when the driver arrived to collect the car, he insisted that we pay the £20 immediately. As we were already late for airport check-in, I had no real option but to pay. The driver was extremely rude, abrupt, and seemed more interested in taking the keys and leaving as quickly as possible. It was only then that I noticed he had a young lady with him, and they simply got into the car and drove off.
The return experience was just as bad. We followed the exact instructions provided in the booking email, which clearly stated to meet on the Ground Floor near the pay machine and Off Airport Meet & Greet signs. When we called after collecting our luggage, we were told the car would be there within 15 minutes.
After waiting, we called again and were told they were already there, even though they were not. When we explained we were on the Ground Floor as instructed, they then told us we needed to go to the second floor — the same level where the car had originally been collected. We made our way there with luggage, only to discover they still were not there, and we then had to wait another six minutes.
When the driver finally arrived, it was the same rude and abrupt man from before. When I questioned the conflicting instructions and waiting time, he quickly blamed the third-party booking company and said it was “their problem.” I then asked whether the £20 late charge was also the third party’s responsibility or Happy Days’, and at that point he simply walked off without answering.
Overall, this was a very stressful and unpleasant experience. Poor communication, rude customer service, and unfair charges made this one of the worst airport parking services I have used. I will never use them again.
If I could rate them a ZERO I would
Rude and Dishonest service
Dishonest service. Very rude and unprofessional staff on the phone. Whole service is stressful and unpleasant. Tactics seems to be to offer online discount and try to make up by charge extra.
Absolutely avoid – one of the worst, most unprofessional services I’ve ever used.
I would strongly advise against using Happy Days Meet & Greet (registered as CAR GOOGLE LIMITED). As a frequent flyer who has used many Airport meet and greet services, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.
The whole operation felt unprofessional and exploitative. Charging a £20 fee if you are more than 20 minutes late to drop off your car is excessive and feels like a tactic to take advantage of customers who are already under pressure to get to the airport. Refusing card payments and insisting on bank transfer only is also a major red flag, as it removes basic consumer protection.
The service itself was disorganised from start to finish. I called 30 minutes before arrival as instructed and still had to wait to hand over my car. On return, I followed their instructions again and was left waiting far too long to get my vehicle back.
Communication was also poor and completely unacceptable. I received repeated calls while driving to the airport, with staff being rude, pushy, and demanding payment in a way that felt both aggressive and unsafe.
The drop-off experience was the worst part. The driver initially refused to take the car, then put the keys on my suitcase and walked off. At that point, I had no confidence in the service, but I felt forced to continue because I risked missing my flight.
Overall, this was a chaotic, unprofessional service with unfair charges and terrible communication. I would strongly recommend using a reputable, established company instead.
School residential - great service - and vital it was!
We had an exceptionally positive experience. Travelling with 8 special needs pupils in a minibus and the service was brilliant - communications was great, they were punctual and minibus returned in good condition.
We had to wait about 10mins after collecting our luggage but this comes with the territory with the drop off situation.
The price was very competitive and I would absolutely recommend and use again.
Rude
Rude. Aggressive. Swindlers. Liars. Avoid at all costs.
Dreadful
Dreadful. Rude, arrogant, kept changing the story. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and that's quite a high bar.
Avoid at all costs!!!
Avoid at all costs!!!! If I could leave 0 I would!
We had booked and paid for an additional day in error, when we called to inform them they told us we'd need to pay £60 extra, almost the whole cost of the parking. We had luckily booked through a really helpful third party who managed to help us reduce this to £20.
The morning we were due to drop the car, I contacted the company 7 times with no answer, eventually I called the "emergency" number and was shouted at because I hadn't called them earlier, when I had in fact been trying for some time. We then had to wait 40 minutes for them to arrive, adding to the stress. We paid the £20 that was agreed and went off on our holiday.
On return my husband called to say we'd landed and they told him they're not returning the car until we hand over £60, they were aggressive and incredibly rude. We eventually said we would report the car stolen in this case and they hung up the phone. Our third party company very luckily were able to step in and sort this out again. I only wish I'd read these reviews first!!
I'd also be questioning where these people keep the cars as significant fuel was used whilst we were away!
Dirty car
Used Happy Days Meet & Greet via FHR. Car was returned significantly dirty after airport parking. Company offered a wash on a future booking, which wasn’t acceptable as I had to clean the car immediately at my own cost. Multiple emails requesting reimbursement or response have gone unanswered. Disappointing experience
Would leave 0 stars if I could - aggressive and threatening staff
Would leave 0 stars if I could.
Aggressive, threatening and rude staff.
On the way to the airport I called to say there was traffic on m25. I was told the driver would charge £25 per 5 minutes he had to wait. When I said I had followed their policy by calling in advance, I was told they’d have to cancel the meet and greet by one hour (meaning I’d miss my flight). They kept calling me as I was driving threatening that the driving would leave and I’d be charged £25 per minute. Very rude customer service- repeatedly shouting down the phone at me whilst I was driving.
My flight was cancelled so I had to collect my car early £20 charge. I couldn’t bank transfer as I did not have my card reader. They refused to release my car until payment was made. I said I had cash but would need a receipt. The female cashier Leanne shouted down the phone that I was”pathetic” for wanting a receipt and “no normal customer wants that”. The driver arrived and was very aggressive. He refused to give a receipt for cash. He shouted at me and my elderly mother, shouting “I don’t need to hear from you”. He kept putting his hand in my face and my mothers to stop me from trying to explain that needed proof of payment . Only when I called my husband who told him what he was doing was illegal, he threw the keys at me and shouted to onlookers “wow! For the sake of £20! Wow!”.
Avoid at all costs, the company must pay commission to its staff to get additional charges and they earn it with thr

The company charged us an extra £20 cash on arrival because we were later than planned (by 15 mins). We had spoken with them prior to this. No receipt for the cash was given.
The person collecting the car had no ID and no paperwork and was unable to provide any sort of receipt for taking the car. It felt wrong having to pay cash and leave our car with a guy who could not verify he worked for the company.
On return they were 55 minutes late.
We have used other companies many times before without issue.
Not to be repeated
Late for drop off and pickup (20 and 30minutes) so extra parking charges had to be paid.
Changed return pickup point after our arrival.
Ignored our email when their documents were incorrect.
Unpleasant telephone exchanges, not recognizing our distress at the delays....we had our grandchildren with us.
This was my worst experience of meet and greet in 30years
Avoid if you can!
Avoid if you can!
I’ve used many Meet and Greet companies at Heathrow and Gatwick.
Sadly these guys felt it necessary to be bizarrely offish at explaining their meet and greet requirements at the airport. When they called me back from their office(this means they had my number!), they aggressively accused me of not answering the phone to their driver who was trying to call. (He didn’t by the way)
Only to be dressed down by the driver waiting for me at the airport, that I had logged an incorrect number in their system(ask yourself how this is possible if their office staff called me earlier).
And then he threatened that I might be charged for a ‘phone number change’ as my phone number started with +44.
I then asked him to remind me which company he worked for…to be told ‘Happy Days’. The irony!!!
Avoid at all costs

They attempted to charge us an extra £20 because we were later than planned (by 10 mins). We had spoken with them prior to this.
The person on the phone was rude, almost shouting at me when I explained I would pay via invoice but was not happy to pay via cash.
They wanted cash or a bank transfer. The person had no bay for us to park and had no ID. The person had no paperwork and was unable to provide any sort of receipt for taking the car. It felt scammy to pay cash and leave our car with a guy who could not verify he worked for the company.
We have used other companies many times before without issue.
Avoid!!!
We booked a 5 a.m. drop off and received a call the night before, first trying to convince us to have the car collected at the hotel (and get the bus to airport!) then it was suggested we could drop off somewhere outside the terminal and take a “short walk”! I completely refused either option, and was then talked into changing drop off time to 5.15 (they clearly don’t like early starts). We got to the correct car park drop off point at 5.15 and after a few phone calls, the driver arrived at 5.50 (we had an 8 a.m. flight). I knew they’d be trouble on return and sure enough, same again, trying to get us to meet them off site which I refused to do. I think they turned up in the car park about an hour after my initial phone call. I’ve used many parking companies but this is by far the worst!
