Carol and grace made our experience at the pawn very relaxed and they couldn’t do enough for myself being a bit embarrassed getting a loan on jewellery they reassured me and went through all the details with how it works etc the shop was also very welcoming and they are so lovely I will return in the further! duke street store

I ordered over $3000 to pay for the ground arrangements on a holiday to Egypt. When I collected them, they shuffled through the counting very quickly and I assumed that they would all be new high-quality notes. Unfortunately, they are scruffy, inked, some have even got holes in them. I have now been told by the holiday company that they will not accept anything other than you notes. H&T refuse to replace them with good quality notes. The manager thought the whole thing was hilarious and had great difficulty not laughing at me and utterly refused to cooperate whatsoever. I do wonder if there’s some nefarious activity going on here trying to pass dud notes and then keeping high-quality ones for themselves, who knows.

I purchased a pre-owned Omega watch from H&T to mark an important milestone in my life, and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing.

The watch originally arrived without the original box and papers, which I then had to chase. As you can imagine, this slightly ruined the experience of buying an expensive watch, especially one bought to mark a special occasion. The box and papers did arrive shortly afterwards, but this was not the start I expected.

Shortly after receiving the watch, I then discovered it had a fault with the annual calendar/date mechanism. This made me question what checks had been carried out before the watch was sent out.

To H&T’s credit, they did arrange for the watch to be collected and repaired through their Omega-accredited service centre. However, the watch was sent away on 22 June and only returned around 14 weeks later, which was longer than the original 8–12 week estimate.

This was extremely frustrating, as I had only just bought the watch and had been excited to wear it to some important events.

I now have the watch back, but I am still waiting to receive the service/repair documentation confirming exactly what fault was found, what work was carried out, whether any parts were replaced, whether genuine Omega parts were used, and what warranty applies to the repair.

I do really like the watch, and I hope the issue is now resolved, but the overall experience has not matched what I would expect when buying a watch of this value. Between the missing box and papers, the immediate fault, the long repair time, and the lack of service documentation so far, the process has been far more stressful than it should have been.

I will update this review if H&T provide the full repair documentation and resolve the remaining concerns properly.

I was in the Nottingham store on Parliament st a Lady called Chen served me she was absolutely great.The customer service and help was excellent and the staff Ayesha Charlotte Kim all helpful when I visited this store

One of the worst places to buy
My order was made more than 12 days ago to pick up at a nearby shop, the employees don't know anything about the email and the website you try to contact and there is no answer, total lack of respect for the customer without support or option to cancel the purchase I'm having, it's not worth the inconvenience with these people.

H&T Pawnbrokers, Blackpool has great customer service and care, paying particular attention to the needs of customer focus and interaction.The staff members, Chris and Erin were very professional and very attentive to our needs.

Just leaving this review to say thank you so much to Rebecca for the service it’s always been excellent, and i genuinely go back just to see if she still works at the same location in Leeds City Centre, her customer service is amazing and she always have a bright smile on her face making the visit more worth it.
