I would strongly advise anyone considering GymNation to not through with it, i just had a customer service agent call me and shouting at me.

The gym is great for beginners, especially for people like me who are not familiar with some of the equipment. They also offer a variety of classes, which is very helpful if you don’t have the energy or confidence to self‑teach in the gym. The classes are interactive, engaging, and allow you to explore different workouts throughout the week.

Dreadful, dreadful.
I was missold and mis-charged and nobody is responding and giving my money back for the over-charges,
They are telling me sorry billing mistakes but did not return my money that was separately charged for no reason.
Also your person said that he will take money now and start the package from 25th August so next payment will be 25th September. I am now worried they will not follow this.
When I message them now, they don’t help or respond!!
Terrible and so upset with this behaviour.

I genuinely love GymNation and I’m so happy to be part of the community, but I was honestly surprised to see such a big difference in quality between the different branches.

As someone who prefers working out in the ladies-only section, the Al Quoz branch was a bit disappointing. The ladies’ area is quite small, with limited machines and equipment, especially compared to the ladies’ sections I visited in two different Abu Dhabi branches, which were much bigger and had a wider variety of equipment.

One thing that really stood out to me in the Abu Dhabi branches was the availability of a wudu (ablution) area and a prayer room. This is such a thoughtful and important feature, especially in a Muslim country. It allows members to pray comfortably without needing to use the changing room, where others may be waiting to change.

I also visited the Downtown branch and while I appreciated that the ladies’ section had more equipment than Al Quoz, the lack of parking made the experience less convenient.

Overall, I really enjoy GymNation and appreciate what you provide, but I hope there can be more consistency between branches and that features like prayer rooms, wudu areas, better equipment variety, and parking accessibility can be considered across all locations.

I’m paying 20 AED daily for parking, might as well go somewhere else. That’s a full gym membership just in parking. Terrible!

**Be very careful before signing up with GymNation.**

My experience with GymNation has been extremely disappointing. When you sign up, they make the membership sound simple, but once they start charging your card every month, it can become very difficult to cancel or change your membership.

I was also disappointed to find out that **if you are on the Premium Plus package, you cannot simply downgrade to a lower package** if your needs change. You are basically stuck with the higher package rather than being given a reasonable option to move to a cheaper membership.

If you want to freeze your membership, there is also an additional **AED 50 fee**. And if you want to cancel, they require you to provide proof/documentation, making the process unnecessarily complicated. Even after trying to cancel, there can still be attempts to charge your card.

On top of the membership and payment issues, the **service and overall customer experience have been very poor**. For a gym that takes regular monthly payments, I expected much better communication, transparency, flexibility, and customer service.

My advice is to **read all the terms and conditions very carefully before signing up**, especially the cancellation, freezing, payment, and membership-change policies. Make sure you fully understand what you're agreeing to before giving them your card details.

**Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend GymNation based on my experience.**

Completely ignored after Heraa Mall closure—impossible to cancel!

Unfair Charges: GymNation Heraa Mall- Jeddah is closed, which isn't their fault, but charging members for a closed gym is wrong.Total Silence: Requested a cancellation via the webpage, app, phone, and WhatsApp, but management completely ignores all messages.Zero Support: They have ghosted me instead of processing a legitimate cancellation for a facility I can no longer use.Bad Business: Do not sign up here. They lock your payments and refuse to communicate when things go wrong.

I acknowledge to any request made from app. I have also tried making requests using options like billing, membership etc.

Great gym! Been a member of motor city for a few years now, the free parking situation needs sorting and hopefully they can find a solution for that very soon but looking forward to the new section opening soon!

Shame i cant put 0 stars. absolute disgusting customer service, i cancelled my membership through the proper channels, yet I continue to receive threatening emails. They never reply to emails and yet continue to threaten me. Ive been trying to sort this for 2 years and yet i continue to get threats and ignored.

I am not spreading false information. I am sharing my actual experience.

When I purchased my membership through your mobile website, the checkout process did not clearly display the AED 199 joining fee or the AED 25 admin fee. I only became aware of these charges after receiving the membership summary email. I paid the fees without any issue, but my concern is about pricing transparency.

To verify this, anyone can visit your website on a mobile device, select a Core Membership, and proceed through the checkout process. They will see that these additional fees are not clearly shown before payment.

Instead of calling my review "untruthful," it would have been more professional to investigate the issue first. My review is based on my genuine experience and is intended as constructive feedback to help improve transparency for future members.

Your team has been scamming me from day 1! I went there to use the gym for a day and they said there’s an offer and that the monthly price was reduced. I explained to them that I can’t commit for long time as because of my job I change locations often and the guy said in any case I can just send a message and cancel it and they will assist without issues.

1- they lied about the terms and conditions of cancelling my membership. In fact the guy filled up everything on his iPad and agreed to everything by himself. “To make it faster” and only gave me to sign. There’s cameras and that’s fraud.

2- he lied about the payment day , he said it was moved to end of month however it wasn’t true and I have prove of that , that’s why they always tried to charge me on the wrong date.

3- I’ve tried explaining this situation to management several times however everyone has been ignoring it to continue charging me. I’ve paid the freeze for several months while the problem was solved which I didn’t have to do but nobody from the management looked into this.

It is called fraud. Now you deduct Money from my account but nobody has the time to answer to my questions. I have been very patient for the past months and from my side I did what I could , I’ll raise the dispute and get my money back
I am also making sure people gets to know what’s going on with this company because it is unacceptable
And on the top of that you call a client shouting ? Which mafia is this you all ? This is a fraudulent company. You expect a client to know the exact date of their subscription? Well no, unless I check it and that’s why they give you a system
So why would you call a client without checking profile information and having everything in front of you

I regret joining GymNation.

I had to relocate and stopped using the gym almost two years ago. During the sign-up process, I was never informed that I would still be liable for the remaining contract value if I stopped using the gym. The entire admission process felt rushed, and I was not given a proper explanation of the key contract terms or the cancellation process.

Now I am receiving legal demand notices, but GymNation has still not provided me with a copy of my membership agreement or a detailed breakdown of the amount they claim I owe. I have called several times and requested these documents, but there has been no response.

I have never refused to discuss the matter. I only asked for transparency before any settlement. I clearly informed them that I want to resolve this matter amicably, but instead of clear communication and supporting documents, I received legal threats.

This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. It has caused me significant stress and unnecessary mental fatigue.

In my personal opinion, GymNation appears to prioritize collecting money over treating customers fairly. It feels as though customers are treated like ATM machines rather than people. I find it very difficult to understand why a customer who has not entered or used the gym for almost two years is still being pursued for charges without first being given transparent documentation to review.

Based on my experience, I do not recommend joining GymNation. Before signing any membership, read every clause carefully, ask for all important terms in writing, and make sure you fully understand the cancellation policy and your financial obligations. Please think twice before joining.
