Groover Arvostelua 

I have only tried two songs thus far, though the experience has been good. I like the way you can review details about Playlist curators before committing money to send them songs. Follow up has been good from Groover, and Playlist curator response has been positive as well as constructive.

Meine Erfahrung mit Groover war leider sehr negativ. Positiv ist: Die Plattform ist übersichtlich, grundsätzlich einfach zu bedienen und bietet theoretisch Zugang zu Playlists, Blogs, Radios und anderen Kontakten, die man als unabhängiger Künstler sonst schwer erreicht.

In der Praxis war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für mich aber enttäuschend. Viele Rückmeldungen wirkten oberflächlich, austauschbar oder musikalisch kaum fundiert. Besonders ärgerlich ist, wenn man gezielt nach den angegebenen Kriterien einreicht und dann trotzdem nur die knappe Rückmeldung bekommt, der Song passe nicht zur Playlist. Das wirkt willkürlich und wenig professionell.

Dazu kommt, dass Groover schnell teuer wird, ohne dass daraus echte, nachhaltige Wirkung entstehen muss. Man bezahlt für Hoffnung, Aufmerksamkeit und ein paar Sätze Feedback – aber am Ende profitieren vor allem Plattformen, Vermittler und Kuratoren. Für mich ist Groover nicht das ganze Problem, aber ein deutliches Symptom dafür, wo die Musikindustrie heute steht: Künstler investieren Geld, Zeit und Energie, während andere am System verdienen.

Mein Fazit: gute Idee, gute Oberfläche, aber in meiner Erfahrung überteuert, ernüchternd und für unabhängige Musiker nur sehr begrenzt hilfreich.

It doesn’t perform miracles, but it actually puts you in contact with actual radios, playlists managers, and other music professionals. The
Ones we chose all gave reviews that made sense (we didn’t agree with all but gave us some ideas for improvement ) and the song was actually shared by several. I think it’s a good service for a fair price .

Mon dernier Album est digital,seulement cinq titres. Après quatre mois de travail avec un coaching assidu Groover, plus leur fichier immense de professionnels de la musique, mes titres ont obtenus le partage ou la diffusion dans 25 Radios et 12 playlists. Le plus extraordinaire j'ai obtenu 48 emails de professionnels de la musique avec qui maintenant je peux travailler pour parfaire et compléter mon projet musical.

Mir wurde eine Meta Quest 3 nie geliefert. Ich erhielt lediglich ein leeres Paket. Es gibt kein Verständnis, kein Einsehen. Das einzige was übrig blieb ist eine Strafanzeige gegen Grover.

Und was ich sonst so laß ist das wohl typische Masche. Versenden leerer Pakete, oder falsche Objekte, und danach behauptet man man hätte was unterschlagen. Traurig.

They have an excellent platform for trying to get your music out into the world.

You will need to research which curators target but it can really pay off. You WILL get a lot of rejections but even that can be valuable with feedback being mostly constructive.

As a new artist, this platform has helped me alot and I highly recommend it.

As an artist I have great experiences with the staff. They care about their artists. Whenever I faced an issue which was rare. they were understanding and friendly and solved it.

If you are an artist looking to get heard, feedback or whatever your goal is. Groover bridges the gap between artist and curators/publishers.

I will however advise to make sure you follow their guides when pitching your songs. and research the curator/publisher

Natürlich kann ich nicht eine perfekte Bewertung schreiben die womöglich auf alle passt. Aber ich kann sie aus meiner Sicht versuchen sehr gut darzustellen.
Ja es melden sich nicht immer Leute die dir als einem neuen Künstler nach oben helfen wollen aber wir sind ja alle erwachsen und sollten da schon unterscheiden können!
Für mich persönlich ist Groover sehr nützlich und schafft dass du als kleiner Künstler von richtigen Leuten gehört wirst! Ob es aus dem was wird und was es wird ist eine andere Frage.

It’s early in the game right now, but a curator accepted one of my songs and already my stats on Spotify went up x3. Maybe no one else will accept my songs and then I’ll be disappointed, but so far so good.

Whoever not only makes good music but can also afford professional production or a producer will definitely find good support on Groover — they fundamentally keep their promises. But anyone making underground music with a limited budget, and where this is noticeably audible, should stay away from Groover. The main criticism here is that Groover does not point this out to the musician, thereby letting them walk straight into a trap and waste their money. Groover is generally not bad, but severely lacking in transparency — especially since there is no option for a refund once you have fallen into the aforementioned trap.
