Excellent produce and first rate support
The decision to order fresh food online is not an easy one. You need confidence in the food itself and the people supplying it to you. Seeing other reviews helps but it is your personal experience that makes the ultimate difference. Before I bought, I was able to ask some questions by email and get very helpful answers. I was looking for a specialist cut of pork shoulder (the Boston Butt) to produce pulled pork for a party of 35. I was guided through the selection of the product, and given helpful advice on cooking. I was able to specify a delivery date and the product arrived as planned. It was absolutely excellent quality. Having cooked it, my guests were full of praise for the flavour and texture of the meat. So, an all round fantastic job and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Grid Iron Meat Company to anyone.

We know how important it is to feel confident when ordering fresh food online, especially for a big event like yours, so it’s great to hear the feedback. We're really glad the Boston Butt worked out well and that your guests enjoyed the pulled pork – sounds like a cracking party!
It was a pleasure helping you choose the right cut and we're always here if you need advice or want to try something new. Thanks again for the recommendation – it means a lot.

Quality meat and great customer service
First order through gridiron for pork ribs on the smoker. The ribs are really meaty, but also squarely trimmed, which is great of you are doing lots!
The customer service was fantastic. One of my two boxes went missing in transit. I sent an email at 6.30pm on Thursday, expecting a reply in the morning. But several emails later that evening with Ian and he confirmed replacement ribs would be delivered before 12pm on the Saturday.

Awesome bacon!!!
6 kg of amazing pork loin cut specially for making back bacon at home has finally finished dry-curing (juniper/pomegranate molasses/maple syrup) and the first "test" slices were fabulous!
Not our first purchase from Gridiron by any means and certainly not the last. Half of this batch going to be cold-smoked in these cooler spring nights (maple/oak) and we're expecting to slice, vacuum pack and freeze around 250-300 rashers of exceptional bacon.
It can't be done without first-class meat of excellent provenance.
Thanks Gridiron, we will be back!

Hi Richard,
Wow—what a review! Thanks so much for sharing all the details. That dry cure sounds incredible and we’re seriously impressed by your bacon plans. We’re thrilled to be part of your process and really grateful for your continued support.
Enjoy those cool spring smoking sessions —we’ll be here when you're ready for the next batch!

Proper meat,
I’ve been using Grid Iron for a few years now and believe I’ve sampled a good range of their products including: Sirloin, Rump, Rib eye, T-Bone and Porterhouse steaks, Silverside, Sirloin, and brisket roasting joints, racks and legs of lamb, gammon joints, pork chops, sausages, bacon and steaks along with cheeses, and the breakfast boxes.
The quality of both produce and service has always been first rate. It’s nice to have meat that doesn’t shrink to nothing when cooking and tastes like I remember food tasting at my grand house as a kid .
Barring one occasion where the delivery company cocked the dates up, which was delt with and squared away promptly by Ian, to date I haven’t had any issues.
In short I’ve no hesitation in recommending Grid Iron meats to anyone.

Thanks again for your support and your recommendation – we look forward to sending you more great meat soon!
Always excellent …
Great website. Reliable delivery and perfectly packaged. But most of all superb meat. The rack of pork I ordered last week was tender and flavourful with melt in the mouth crackling. Also your chickens are the best we have had in the UK (and outshone the poulet de Bresse we brought back from France recently).
