I would highly recommend Gribbon and Pelham. They were extremely competitive on price for our Level 3 Building Survey (cheaper that the other 2 quotes we received). The process from booking the survey, the phone call with the surveyor immediately after the survey, the report delivery, payment etc. was all first class. The survey report itself looks to be quality, thorough and very detailed (to a novice), which is great. As many leaseholders will know, renewing a lease can be a long, expensive, and stressful process. Unfortunately, my original surveyor retired just before negotiations began, leaving me in a difficult position, especially when the freeholder’s counteroffer came in at nearly double what was expected. Thankfully, Tony at Gribbon and Pelham stepped in and took over the negotiation, successfully reducing the premium from an outrageous £17,000 to £10,000. For any leaseholder looking for a knowledgeable and effective surveyor, I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Not able to get a full survey done, so I’m none the wiser

The report was good and confirmed all the things we had noticed during our viewings and it was a viable purchase. The report consisted of lots of title pages with blank areas, so used a lot of ink and paper to print off is my only criticism.
