Don't know how they have managed it but they have actually got worse and they were useless to start with. Over the past 12 months they have gone from useless to outright devious. Ruth Cooke is both incompetent and a bare-face liar. Refuse point blank to provide tenants with windows and heating and say outright that they have no intention of dealing with mould and damp. Workment turn up totally unprepared for the jobs they are supposed to be doing and leave before the work is complete. Not one person in this company is actually able to do their jobs and the higher up you go the more idiotic they are. Constantly breaking the law regarding housing standards and although the executives have known about breaches for years, still do nothing to put them right, instead adding to problems by going back on their previous promises regarding planned maintenance. Absolutely obssessed with money and how much they can squeeze out of their residents, councils, government and the elderly who need care. The whole sordid operation needs bringing down. Please do not take any offers of housing from this lot. Wait for a decent landlord. This lot will destroy your physical and mental health as well as robbing you of money charging for services they do not provide. There are literally no good points and even some prisoners live in better conditions and are treated with more human rights than Greensquareaccord can manage.

Would've given zero stars, but not an option.
They take forever to do repairs, a lot of the time need to chase it up.
Sometimes the advisors don't even note down what you've requested, so when you ring up to enquire they have no history of what needs doing.
When you email they reply with a message to get back in 48 hours, but never get back to you.
So fed up with the way they run things, they have no sort of system or order of doing things, it's a complete shamble.
When you request for a call back no one ever gets back to you.
Since merging with Green Square it's become even worse, don't think they can manage a vast amount of housing.
Really need to sort themselves out.

Only gave one star because I can’t put none! The care company I worked for seemed to be managing just fine! This company merged with them and boom!!! All downhill from there! After 5 years I gave up my job due to this company running it into the ground and now it no longer exists.. carers have been tupped to another company. I am also owed some pay and have contacted both the head office and payroll several times and have been totally blanked! Would avoid this company at all costs.. as an employee or a client!

Worst company I've ever worked for. Been a carer for years they have no interest at all in clients or staff!! Give us crap pay only interested in profits!!!

My friend lives in a Green square ACCORD supported living project managed by another organisation which focuses on the needs of BAME residents. The quality of the accommodation is appalling and repairs have been outstanding for two years. The G/A publicity shows lots of happy smiling BAME families, The Board and senior management have NO representatives from African or Caribbean communities, Is G/A institutionally racist?

Disgusting. I find it hard to beleive that the Goverment actually gives this monopoly grants for new builds, they should be forced to look after their original customer base before making other people suffer with their terrible service. Lack of care at every level, housing officers do not care, let antisocial behaviour run rife, have empty properties (that have been reported) just sit there and rot (they get the benefit payments, so who cares) seriously avoid if you are able.

The customer service of this company is absolutely non existent and frankly disgusting. I’ve sent them 5 emails in the past 3 weeks, none of which have been answered….filled in an insights survey they sent me scoring them as low as possible for everything and again venting my frustration at the lack of communication….surprise surprise no response. How they maintain any customers or even win new business is absolutely beyond me, completely embarrassment of a company with no regard for customer service….absolutely shocking.

I've been a Tennant of caldmore housing since round about1981. The service was amazing. Up until it changed to accord which was a smudge better than green square Which is diabolical.. Lack of customer care, and cowboys of repairs. The next time I have a repair I want to look at there qualifications for that job. What a load of crap..... Managers and directors couldn't manager a 3 year old party... Need to buck up... Tina.

In November 2020 I Reported my combi boiler was leaking a black waxy fluid. I had a gas safety check the same month and was told something needed replacing. Almost a year later and no fix. Now the boiler has stopped working, the black has broken lost of electrical parts and they are taking forever to fix it. We have snow forecast for the next week. They have let this happen on purpose. I’m a classed as a very vulnerable person due to a list of medical and mental health conditions. Green square only want your money they don’t care if your cold or can’t sower.

absolutely terrible.. My first few years wasn't so bad with them but since a few years now they've completely gone downhill.. they hardly communication with other departments so messages are lost. They never answer. I also had damp issues which they dont see as important even though I have small children. Been waiting over a year for any communication from them. Absolutely bull do not recommend this housing association at all.

My bathroim light stopped working, replaced blub but no luck, emailed accord on the 11/10/21, would contract me in 2days, it is now the 15th and with no luck with accord, have paid for the repair my self, this seems acommon problem after reading many reviews of accords customer service..

Super bad... dangerous housing association. My bedroom window is completely shut. I told them half a year still haven't called or come out. Even though I mentioned if there's a fire in my bedroom with my children upstairs we will be unable to get out and be literally trapped inside. They don't give to two f##..they were good at the beginning but gone way down these three years. Dangerous breach of safety.

The worst housing association ever, I had a leak when a connector to a pipe bursted in the 2 floor bathroom. When the repair man came he said it was because the materials used were cheap however Accord housing refused to pay for my damaged property. Horrible company.

3months of reporting an issue of criminal damage to my property by neighbour.ive got to the point where I'm fed up of being ignored so I've took it to complaints department....even that is crap...my skylight window has been reported from how long ago...2seperate occasions they have come to my house to take pictures.. . I call and call and not one of them know what's going on!! They quick enough to take ur rent but do nothing to fix it.....my 5year old grandchild has more brains then this crap company.housing officer Tracy is a liar still waiting for her to get in touch to resolve my problems....been with caldmore/accord for over 28+years and this company make me want out they are a disgrace...maybe all tenants should start a petition on how crap a company are and take action against them!!

Utter rubbish company they just joined up with accord housing still rubbish the work people who work for accord are on different wage from greensquare yet they expect accord to wear there clothing pay the same wage

Absolutely rubbish never there when need them! Been stuck in property for over four years. The use of drugs on estate has been reported more than once but just because police came out once and couldn’t smell it apparently there is no drug us here. Loud music and parties into early hours of morning all that happens is letter sent out nothing else. Not allowed to use the Communal gardens even though we pay for them to be cut. Kids aren’t allowed to play outside so why move families in them!!!

One star is too much! Terrible housing association. Repairs are rarely done and when they are they are completely bodged by men that are old, perverted and don’t have a clue what they are doing. Still waiting for repairs from 3 years ago. Worst thing I ever did moving into an accord property.

I have dealt with Accord for many years and they consistently fail to meet any expectations I have had regarding the maintenance and safety of the building my 94 year old mother lives in. I can give countless stories of problems which we have experienced first hand, not here say regarding fire precautions, broken lifts, failed lighting in crucial exit areas and more.

Green square has a bock of nine flat built at the same time as our private block 10 years ago and are identical. We use the same entrance road which they refuse to pay for its up keep so private owners land up paying. Their block is fast turning into a slum which they haven’t denied stating they cannot afford the same up keep as as private owners because they are a charity. Soo much for the social engineering of placing private and public housing together. They control half the lights on this private road which they refuse to repair. These housing associations are responsible to no one and government should cease to give tax payers money to them.

This has to be the worst company ever, the employees can't be trusted and pinch off the elderly. They are very rude and their workmanship is terrible don't waste your money go elsewhere. This company should be closed down
