Our family of twelve dined at the Heathley Park Public House during an exceptionally busy service, and we were fortunate enough to be looked after by Angelika — an absolute standout in every sense of the word. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that we were in the care of someone who takes immense pride in what she does.

Despite the bustling atmosphere and the sheer scale of our group, Angelika remained composed, attentive, and remarkably efficient throughout. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask — refilling drinks, checking on meals, and ensuring every order arrived exactly as requested. What truly set her apart, however, was her genuine warmth, infectious enthusiasm, and tireless energy. Even in the middle of a packed restaurant, she made each of us feel personally looked after.

It’s rare to encounter someone who combines professionalism with such an engaging personality. Angelika turned what could easily have been a chaotic group meal into a smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable experience. She is a real asset to Heathley Park, and her work ethic and positivity deserve the highest praise.

We left deeply impressed and extremely grateful — thank you, Angelika, for setting such a high standard of hospitality. We hope you enjoyed the birthday cake! Top service that will hopefully be recognised.

We called at the Hare & Hounds on the isle of wight, we were made so welcome, service was excellent, lunchtime light bites were fab, and The staff so friendly, and Georgina Lee was a breath of fresh air, I will definitely call again when I visit the island

The Jolly Boatman in Thrupp is the best pub I’ve visited for a long time. my cousin and I (and our dog - Dooley) were welcomed by delightful staff, and lovely pub with great atmosphere.
The range of drinks was first class, as was the superb menu.
The food was truly exceptional and the drinks were perfectly served - something rarely seen in this day and age!
We really enjoyed everything about our visit to the Jolly Boatman, and it was so nice to have our dog made very welcome too.
When next in this area I will be sure to make a detour to this venue.

Great customer service from Jo, nothing was too much trouble. Really tasty food too, my friends and I really enjoyed it. Such a lovely atmosphere here as always.

If your wanting a good cooked meal good prices and very friendly staff and manager you need to visit the cricketers in eastliegh Southampton had a very good meal tonight Thankyou Nicky nothing too much trouble!!

Had a visit to Mersey Clipper pub in Tranmere, the beef rib sizzled platter was beautifully cooked the drinks were reasonably a good price and the staff were all perfect and very polite would definitely recommend the Mersey Clipper in Tranmere for food and drink combined

Had dinner at the Woodlands Edge Pub on 2 consecutive days, it was so good. The bar service from Janet Bartley & Gemma Conyard was great. Nothing is too much trouble. Samantha Wright who was covering from another pub was very polite and friendly, lovely lady. Big hats off to Dean Hollington who made our dinner on both nights. Thank you very much. FANTASTIC.

Food un eatable. Can't cook and restaurant dirty and smelt of stale food. I have 35yrs as a chef and have never been served such poor food.
Keep away unless you want to be made ill

The staff are always very Friendly . And always Kind . The food is so nice and Tasty . And the Drinks are nice as well. Very Reasonable priced .

Food was excellent at The Riverside pub Rotherham
My husband and I visited for lunch today 5th July 2025.
Our Waitress was Nat ,who was friendly and helpful.Nothing too much trouble.
We found the menu excellent. My husband had lamb Kofta ,myself crunchy chicken sandwich ,was huge 👌 even had to bring some home .

We bring our guys here every Monday afternoon for a pint. They have learning disabilities and are treated really well and love chatting with all the staff who are open and welcoming.

We visited the Freshfields pub in Formby after a morning walk to the beach with our dog.
Food was lovely, can recommend the Freshfield burger, delicious, and a sausage for our dog!
The staff were amazing, served by Josh who was so polite and helpful, but all the staff were.
On the way out there was a huge table full of cakes for the Eden project, of course we had to have a couple! Donations also accepted by card at the till.
So I would highly recommend

I visit the Cuckoo Pint pub in Stubbington on Monday 2nd June with my Mum and my golden retriever- we sat outside.
As always the staff were super helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
The OAP menu is amazing- very reasonable for pensioners and always amazing food- we both had an all day breakfast which was super tasty.
The desserts were also lovely- my Mun had apple crumble and I had chocolate brownie.
Portions are very generous.
There is always fresh water and water bowls outside for the dogs that visit the garden.
The manager was on duty and is always so friendly and helpful.
I visit very often due to friendliness and good value tasty food- would highly appreciate.

Green king have recently opened up a pub called Farmhouse Kitchen in Wakefield, before this it was called Silkfarm me and a few mates always had breakfast there so when it changed to Farmhouse we thought we would give it a try, the food was ok no problems there. While we were there we were handed a card that advertised if you download the app and register you will receive a voucher for £5 for your next meal which has turned out to be impossible to get. I did all of that, no voucher so I dropped an email to so called customer services who replied saying there had been a problem with the distribution of vouchers and the voucher was now sent of course it wasn't, cut a long story short , I complained again, received exactly the same reply three times, I have given up. It feels like a con to get you to register. Customer services don't seem to give a dam, not the best advertising Green king.

Gave 1 star as no option for zero. Hollytree Farm, ordered carvery through just eat, the same as last there was a meal missing. The food was bland, the amount of meat was totally pittaful wouldn't fill a 5 year old. We had to share the meals received between 4 of us due to a meal being missed. Gave a second chance WILL NOT BE GIVING A 3RD

Old Ashtree Chatham. Do not bother. Booked for meal and drinks 730pm. Went to put order in for food at 745 and was told the kitchen was shut. Ruined a birthday celebration and tribute night. The staff couldn't have been bothered.

We visited "The Broadway Pub & Carvery" at Willenhall, Wolverhampton, for the first time and although it was very busy, we found a table quite quickly.

The Carvery was gorgeous, especially the Yorkshire Puddings, tasty, light and fluffy, the Staff we helpful and friendly, we will definitely be visiting again in the near future!!!!

This will now be our favourite place to eat a Carvery, delicious.

I live in the village of Kentford outside Newmarket. The Kentford pub is absolutely appalling. There is zero atmosphere and non existent customer services they wouldn’t know the meaning of a warm welcome or hospitality. I went in there for a drink with my daughter and her family at 7.15 tonight and at 8.30 we were asked to leave because they were closing ! On the way out when we were talking amongst ourselves saying how unimpressed we were. A boy who was behind the bar (definitely a young brat) not a young man. Told us no one had asked us to come in ! Do NOT waste your money the decor is dreadful it smells of fish and the ladies loo is like a freezer ! The manager and the brat behind the bar should go on a weekend to Dublin to see how a quality pub is run . The Kentford it’s a joke. There are two new housing estates being built they have a good location and a beautiful garden and no idea how to create a decent village pub avoid at all costs
