We went to watch Ipswich v Man U at the golf pub. Aware the table was reserved from 6 pm we arrived at 16.40 to watch bulk of match and have a meal and drink. The drinks came with the waitress saying were we aware of the table needing to be free at 6pm. We replied yes. The table ahead had just received their meal but it took another 20 mins for our mains to arrive at 17.15pm. The waitress came to advise two tables a table of 3 gents and another table of grandparents with grandchild they needed to leave their table at 17.30pm. They left and the people on the table in front of us had finished their meal and left. I was still eating until nearly 17.45m but then the waitress came and told us she had said she told us we needed to leave the table by 17.30 pm which did not happen. The fact I was still eating a meal, observed a reserved table from 18.00pm which we had agreed to vacate by that time due to meal being ordered but only delivered at 17.20pm. The waitress advised some team member had agreed for the people to set up earlier than 18.00pm. We argued the point that if this was the case then the sign should be stating earlier. The reservation sign clearly specified the table needed to be clear by 18.00pm. My husband finished his drink and we left!

We waited half an hour and left because we didn't even get any drinks in all that time! It was only a lunchtime so expected better. What made it worse was watching the server walk past us numerous times with dirty plates etc to the kitchen. Why couldn't she have served our drinks then done that!? Or am i missing something!? We had ordered drinks and food but the service was so slow we couldn't wait any longer. The place was understaffed and the two servers were overwhelmed.
I even heard one server say she had had enough!
By this time we were so hungry and thirsty we left to go elsewhere- where we got served immediately!

Went here for a family meal. Staff were so accommodating. We were served by Jack and Harvey, great couple of lads and so helpful. Cheers gents

The beef burgers was pink, not fully cooked, asked the member of staff could she just take it and microwave it for a minute or two, she said no problem we will just do you another burger, ok, well that came and admittedly not as pink, I just called it a day and asked for a doggie bag and I did give it the dog when I got home. Also the Carr Mill Public House you now got to enter your car details on the iPad inside, so you know what the whole idea of this is for don’t you, the lure is pub grub, a beer and hope you overstay your welcome in order to screw you on parking charges…the Carr Mill Public House is already suffering with low customer volume and I think coupled with a chef that cant cook burgers right, even after his or her second attempt, and also throw in that they are now trying to get most of its lost revenue via their parking trick, this is one place I and my family, who used this pub prior to all this regular, well, we will now start avoiding it like the plague, it’s gone right down the dumps. You just lost 6 regular customers old boy, see you at the Saints game, this will give you a clue of who are the customers you will never see again. Not your fault matey, times are tuff and you probably told them that it’s not a good idea, but a terrible chef and a parking scheme will finish that place.

Sunday lunch at the Hare and Hounds, so poor it beggars belief, a mushroom (wild) pasty ,with mushrooms so wild they had absconded so they had used little cocktail onions as a substitute, the veg was practically non existant , a small slice of parsnip and a spoonful of boiled cabbage , then roast potatoes or boiled potatoes with a transparent raincoat on them, gravy or some form of jellylike brown substance.Then a trio of roasts 😱I could go on but I won’t be going back🤔

Counting House Blackpool

Been going to the Counting house in Blackpool many times.
i just wanted to say how much I enjoy the place. the tasty food is great value and the drink prices are absolutely awesome.

You seriously can't go wrong with the Counting House.
The staff and management are brilliant and very friendly and always have a smile on there face.

Always clean and inviting.
Keep up the great work.

I’m in the Oyster Smack in Leigh on Sea I just experienced the worse Ham, Egg and Chips in my 55 years of existence eggs were not cooked chips cold ffs

Booked a table at the Foundry Bell
Wokingham for lunch. On the website it had a selection of lunch meals with a drink at a set price to be told by the waitress/possibly manageress that this was not available due to staff shortages!!! When pointing out this was on their website, she said that the deal was an old one and that they had asked Greeneking to remove it!!! The service was good but very few people in a very large pub (I wonder why) the food mediocre, will not be returning.

We used to use two local pubs under the Grene King banner
Swiss cottage at Shoreham the cricketers at Southwick
Both have become very expensive
The service at the cricketers is practically non-existent
If you see the place is run by Grene King my advice …….. avoid it

Had our tea at the Shakespeare pub opposite Victoria train station in London .. the staff were incredible ,helping us navigate the app and keeping food separate so my friend with allergies was ok .. particularly Alfie behind the bar and Ellie one of the servers, who were so helpful and lovely .. would definately visit again 👍👍

We arrived at the Market Tavern, Durham checked that food was being served and ordered drinks.
After consulting the menu we went to the bar to order food only to be told that both of our selections were unavailable. The barman then reeled off a list of dishes that were also unavailable as the grill was closed, less than half the menu was on offer.
If this is the usual practice for Greene King it will be some time before we visit one of their pubs again.

Been a regular on the pavilion on scrubs lane w10 for years, now there is a a new manager she is destroying in the pub.
One member of staff behind the bar trying his best to serve everyone as quick as he can while the manager sit down playing with a karaoke machine,
Another staff member on stage trying to get people to sing while the poor man behind the bar struggles
Ordered a desert it took over a hour to receive it and it wasn’t even that busy
When I asked the manager for my dessert
The member of staff who was singing said I will go check on it and the manager said no get back on stage singing
So helping the customer is not her top priority.
Have been going to this pub for over 20 years and never seen the tables in such a state there is no on to clean up the garden from glasses and plates flys everywhere
When you tell the manager again it not her fault and then because we had mentioned about the cleaning to many times she kicked us out and was screaming in our face, she needs to get up and do something she has only been there 5 weeks and she has destroyed it.

My family and friends visit Coopers Mill in Yeovil on a regular basis.
Darrel and team always make you feel welcome. A good atmosphere
The food is good quality and good value.

Booked a table for 3 at Silver Fern Warsash to day for 4pm as the family fancied a Sunday Roast. Arrived early so had drinks in the garden then proceeded inside looking for our table. There were no reserved tables but plenty of empty ones the area was deserted apart from one couple. I now know why as i went to the bar to order i was informed that there were no roast dinners available. I was so disappointed that i cancelled the drinks order and left. Not a nice experience.

This is the third time we have visited the Amington Tamworth restaurant and once again they have had no steak. Multiple times we have visited and the have not had basic menu items, limiting The options for food. As someone who can only eat limited options anyway, this has left me with no other option but to dine elsewhere and my family and I will not be returning.

The carvery was awful qualty , the beef was good , and there it ends. The raost potatoes were so hard you couldnt cut them , if you wanted to bust your teeth try eating them , the red cabbage tasted of nothing , the sprouts were awful. Second time I have visited Longwell Green , first time was not good. So obvioulsy quality is not high on their agenda. Wont be back !

Wig & Pen, Oxford

Chips were tough and reheated. Drove 100 miles each way to visit the Ashmolean Museum and wanted a reliable simple meal. My son enjoyed his plus a pudding but the excuse for chips that I received with my burger was, to say the least, extremely disappointing. Tough, dried out, reheated chips. Spoilt my meal. I mentioned this to the staff when asked if we enjoyed our meal.

Will stick to Wetherspoon’s in the future. Cheaper and better quality.

ARDENCAPLE HOTEL SCOTLAND!!!! WARNING THEFT!!!!!

Hi, me and my partner came to stay to climb Ben Nevis. We arrived late and left early, we come in slept and then got up and got dressed to head to the mountains. I tried a new gym top on to show my partner and then took it off (tags still on) placed it on the sofa and then got appropriately dressed for the day. When we got back the top was gone! We raised the complaint. The manager was rude and tried to say cleaners only opened the door because it was messy (clothes on the sofa - and CREATINE next to the CREATINE packet - as we were exercising on the side from where we put it in our coffee!!!) they proceeded to change the subject saying there was white stuff on the side and mess so we didn’t actually clean it (but admitted someone HAD gone up!!!) someone in the back on the phone when we called back after agreeing we’d double triple check our bags once home and call back, kept repeating - iv not taken it iv not taken it! The manager then had a go at my partner and snottily said fine leave a review when he said people should be made aware. She had no resolution and just kept trying to change the subject!! We damaged nothing and the ‘mess’ she tried to justify a theft with, and the ‘white stuff ‘ she tried to use to try threaten us or something being creatine - so even more humiliating that I had a £20 top with tags stolen let alone being accused of something to diffuse what the real issue is!!!

If each person gets a £20 odd item stolen every time they are there and just thinks, ah well. And management does not care then it’l keep happening again and again ! It’s not even about the money, it’s about honesty and the disrespect and low key threats trying to make out we were doing something, that had nothing to do with the issue in hand! A formal letter has been sent to greenkings main issue so I hope for a better response!!!!
