Our solar panels were installed yesterday and already fuelling the needs of the house and charging the battery, despite it being an overcast day. Service from everyone from GRC has been excellent form the first calls with Tom to the help from Elliot in the office and Joe and the installers yesterday. We had our Solar Panels fitted six months ago. Very efficient service, took less than a day - and repaired a few tiles whilst they were up there!
The systems has worked faultlessly since then. Today they set up the feed-in payments - again very smooth and efficient.

Andy came out and explained how solar worked, he checked our house and roof . He check our electric use and gave us a fabulous estimate for having the best solar pannels, 16 in fact and a storage battery. He gave and estimated and came back the next day with a formal estimate and a detailed report showing all the costs and timescales. Including item guarantees and detailed after care. He allowed us time to think and after Christmas he gave us a courtesy call. There was no hard sell so we agreed to have the solar installed. The job was done in 1 day a week later. The scaffold team were quick and professional. The electrician was great he explained to me what everything was, I am 60 this year, even I can understand now how solar works and I could already see after week that our family is saving money. The service was 5 star, the team have shown me how to use an app on my phone. There advise,prices and service where amazing. I would recommend GRC Solar Ltd all day long. Brilliant service and after service, they call us to check if still happy, best Christmas pressy we gave our family

From my initial sceptical response to a ‘cold’ ‘phone call, to the extent and care of the after-sales service we have nothing but praise for our entire experience with GRC. Tom, the salesman was informed and informative, and applied no pressure whatsoever. The scaffolders were cheerful, efficient and polite. They even arrived on a wet, miserable day to remove the scaffolding. The panel installation was completed in a day, and the electrician, Jonathan was able to demonstrate and then install an altogether better solution than that originally proposed for the wiring and equipment. The office staff were always responsive and helpful, and especially so in organising the registration for export to the grid. We would not hesitate to recommend GRC to anyone seeking an efficient and professional panel installation.

Andy the salesman and team were responsive to our questions. We had a pre-installation visit by an electrician from the team to plan what could have been a difficult wiring problem. The team on the appointed day completed the installation very efficiently within four hours.

We were very impressed with the teams knowledge. From the initial visit from Tom who explained everything very well and was very thorough. On the day the panels were fitted it was all done in a day. We have unfortunately experienced some problems with our batteries but this has been resolved swiftly and effectively. The office team have also been very helpful and the app is very impressive. Sales person was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. The financial side of his pitch was impressive i.e. the payback period was much shorter than several years ago when we first looked into solar panels. A Quotation Document was very comprehensive and detailed.
Everything went well and on time. The workmen were neat, tidy and informative. The office were helpful in every way and responded quickly for example in setting-up the Feed-in Tariff.
GRC Solar have a very efficient team with the technology and guarantees to back-up the installation.

From initial contact through to installation and subsequent processes (eg registration for exporting energy) ALL staff were helpful, polite, dependable, neat and tidy and available to answer any questions or deal with any problems in a very timely fashion. Initially we obtained several quotes, GRC were undoubtedly the best choice, professional throughout and returned immediately to remedy a small problem. We would highly recommend GRC - our installation was completed six months ago and the staff remain as helpful and diligent as at the outset. Thank you GRC.

Ian made everything clear and concise, so I did not have to worry about the details of setting up my system. He called in at my house within 24 hours of contacting him to set up the export of excess energy, which Is great service.

Tom, the sales rep was very informative, knowledgeable and clear. He was also friendly and polite and able to answer all our concerns. The scaffolding team were efficient and professional. The solar panel installers were excellent; the electrician found the best location for the inverter and battery. They worked quickly and cleared all the debris away. Elliot, in the office helped set us up with an energy company who are going to pay us for electricity exported to the grid.

The installation was very professional, a great team of engineers but the after sales is the 4 star rating, all the equipment box's were left in our loft, plus we have 3 roof tiles broken, we had an email saying "we will get back to" we had phone call end of last week and yes " we will get back to you " about the tiles and we are waiting, we did not know about the boxes until yesterday.

Right from the very outset, we've had a great experience with GRC SOLAR. We went with them as they are a local company, and came with great recommendations and expectations, given how highly rated they were. We were not disappointed in the slightest, in fact we were delighted.

Our first consultation with Andy had us invested straightaway. He listened to and explored our needs and was clearly not in it to maximise sales, instead it was to maximise our return on investment. He went to great lengths to explain the technical aspects of solar panels and how different installations work, and helped to explore what would work best for us. He talked about the ongoing support and monitoring that the team would offer and shared how that would help to optimise our returns. The advice and guidance given I strongly believe was genuine and honest, and he did not over promise or set false expectations about performance, financial returns and cost savings. We believe that we achieved great value in the price we paid, and received the latest technologies compared to other installers, and the service we received before, during and after the installation was second to none. Everything that Andy said would happen, did and when he said it would. Very reassuring.

When the installation day arrived, the team turned up in force and very quietly, discretely and effectiently went about the installation. They were no fuss, cleared up as they went along and kept us up to date on their progress. It was a winter installation and was pretty much dark when they completed it, so they came back the following morning to fully test the system which was working beautifully. They took great care and time to explain how the system worked and how to monitor its performance. Again, it was very reassuring.

I would definitely recommend GRC Solar if you are thinking about a solar panel and battery installation, and if you are not, I would highly recommend that you do consider it, you will not regret it.

GRC Solar were fantastic from start to finish. Andrew explained everything in great detail in easy to understand language, no fancy sales talk just plain English.The Installation went like clock work and the panels are working well.
