DANGEROUS & TERRIBLE QUALITY – AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I bought this Gorilla Sports back extender thinking it would be decent quality for home use – I couldn’t have been more wrong. It is absolutely shocking how cheaply and poorly this is made.

After only very light use, the main padding has already completely sagged, creased, and deformed – it looks like it’s been used for 10 years, not a few weeks. The material is paper-thin, soft, and has zero support. Worst of all: while I was training, the whole structure gave way and collapsed under me – I almost fell flat on my face and seriously injured myself! This isn’t just bad quality – it is dangerous and a serious safety hazard.

I trusted the Gorilla Sports brand, but this product is completely unfit for purpose, unsafe, and not worth a penny. I have contacted customer service and will be returning it immediately. Do not waste your money or risk your health – stay far away from this item and this brand.

So today is the 25th May still no delivery from this terrible company..ive never heard so much nonsense, the excuses just keep going on. They think by sending me emails that they are sending to the haulage firm is them doing something.. But yet they mysteriously dont be receiving back a date the parcel will be delivered..im sick to the back teeth of dealing with this company.. if anyone is thinking of buying anything from this company please don't. Any reputable company would of given a full refund or immediately sent out another punch bag. All im hearing is empty words.. so I finally received the top off of the punch bag!! And low and behold its faulty!! Everytime I punch it white fibres come out, and im having to hoover round it everytime I use it! Have to say worst mistake ever buying from this company..

After purchasing a hyperextension and weights bench from gorilla sports, I have had endless problems. Both items were delivered in a reasonable time from order, however the packaging was in a poor condition. When I opened them the weights bench had a huge chunck missing in the black powder coating and there were sharp pieces of the powder coated shrapnel inside the box. The hyperextension had a few defects in the steel frame so both items were arranged to be collected and replaced. When the replacements were delivered the bench box was barely held together with tape and cable ties so I didnt have high hopes. Upon opening the box there were alot more damages on the powder coating and the item looked as though some one had started to install it then sent it back. The box had been repackaged and taped as though returned and there was only protective wrapping on some parts. Needless to say I was not fit for purpose was sent back this time for a refund. This entire process has taken 4 weeks delaying my gym completion. The contact is never consistent and if theres an issue there is no quick response, when collections are raised they dont keep to the date which caused another convenience having to wait in all day just to be told the collection will be a different day. At the same time as purchasing from gorilla I also purchased items from another gym company mirafit and have had no issues whatsoever. When making a purchase I appreciate things dont always go to plan and sometimes you can get damages, but how they are dealt with is a true reflexion on the company and needless to say I will not be purchasing from gorilla in the future.

I ordered a pullup bar on the 26th March. Shipping was promised within 3-5 business days. It's now the 6th April. At no point do they indicate that the item is being shipped from Germany until you delve into their shipping terms (it might not even be coming from Germany at all). No shipping updates - Evri still haven't recieved the package, which means it's still at least another 3 days away. I politely complained and was given a generic rubbish reply:
"Thank you for your message.
Your package H06KLA0000038996 has already been dispatched.
Please note that the first tracking scan usually appears only after the parcel passes through UK customs, which can take a few days.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding in the meantime."
Absolutely awful service. Avoid this company at all costs.

My order from Gorilla Sports UK has been sitting idle with them for a full week. The item is listed as in stock, but on emailing the company for an update, the custom service person indicated they'd fulfil my order when they get around to it. To an extent I admire the DGAF attitude, but I will avoid this company in future.

Update: the courier finally received my order from Gorilla, but for some reason they are now sending it back to Gorilla. I will be requesting an immediate refund.
