Hello Muriel, when followed as directed (taking Release and following the GOLO way of eating) our customers report that they start seeing weight loss somewhere between the 2nd and 4th week with an average loss of 1-2 lbs. per week. If you only tried GOLO for 30 days, you may not have given it enough time to start working.
Additionally, because it has been such a long time since you ordered, you may not remember if you were following our suggested way of eating.

The servings suggested for each meal are laid out in the booklets however, also included are suggestions on how to customize your meals should you find that you are not able to eat the regular portions. When followed as directed (taking Release and following the GOLO way of eating) most customers begin to lose weight between the 2nd and 4th week. After that, typically 2 pounds a week. There are also many things that can influence the number on the scale, and you may lose inches before pounds. GOLO is not a “magic bullet”. We tell our customers it is not a quick fix, or fad diet. Our plan works to help get your metabolism back into balance so you can lose weight effectively. Depending on past dieting efforts, your age, medications, medical issues or hormones, it may take a bit of time to get everything back into balance. You mentioned that you only have time in your schedule for 1 meal a day. GOLO recommends 3 balanced meals a day. This is probably the reason you did not see the results you were hoping for. You want to follow the GOLO Smart Card that was sent with your order. What we have found in speaking with customers is typically when people don’t lose weight within the first 2-4 weeks, it is because they are not eating enough or are not eating in a way that supports weight loss. You did not mention if you followed the GOLO way of eating. Did you follow the GOLO Smart Card recommendations while preparing your meals? How you prepare your meals is vital to losing weight while on the plan. Did you take your supplement with each of your 3 daily meals? Hello Annette, thank you so much for the review and congratulations on losing 27lbs, that is excellent! On average – most customers lose between 1-2 lbs per week, and this can depend on age, medications, and activity. Typically, you begin to lose weight between the 2nd and 4th week of starting the plan. So, it looks like you are losing approximately 3.85 lbs per month if I calculate that right. That is pretty good! What you can do that may very well “speed up your loss” is to follow the RESET 7 Plan for 1 or 2 weeks, then resume the GOLO for Life Plan. Log into your myGOLO account and choose the BLOG tab. Type in Reset 7 in the search bar. GOLO's Reset 7 is a one-week jump-start that can be used at the beginning of your weight loss journey, but it is also a great way to help you break through a weight loss plateau or speed things up a bit. Sometimes our systems get accustomed to a certain way, and we need to change things up. I might also recommend when you follow the Reset 7 not take Release.
