Like many others I took out the 1 year subscription for a couple of pounds on 17th July 2024 and made a calendar note to cancel in the week before in 2025. I now find that they billed me over £200 on the 7th, 10 days before the full year was out. Can't access their customer service from the UK. Horrible practice. I expect I'll get a standard nonsense AI reply to this review giving me all the contact details that I can't use from the UK. I only spent about 15 minutes on the site over the last year anyway as the content is pretty corny. Beware.

I’ve tried to reach Craftsy as they have already charged me for one year. But I have have turned automatic renewal off and it’s not due until 7/7 but the money was charged 3/7?

I have been a long time member...I find tons of quilting videos to watch and new content is added regularly...I may not want to do every quilt, but you can always learn a new technique. I love going to a live class but sometimes you the teacher can be a letdown or the project really a waste of time and money....Craftsy is always there and comes with a rewind button. Thanks to everyone at Craftsy

Craftsy has the best instructors and gets the experts to teach the classes. They are well paced but it’s easy to go back and redo a lesson.
The class materials value varies by instructor. Some are really good and some are not particularly helpful.
The variety of classes is amazing and I have not been disappointed by any class I have taken.

Craftsy has a lot of excellent videos, with great detail instructions. It covers a gamut of crafts so it’s easy to find your favorite craft and improve your skill or learn something new.

I love all the choices of tutorials. You name it and they teach it. I've loved all the videos I've watched.

I have been a membership many year ago I remember the name was change to blueprint something a long these lines Craftsy was then merged entirely into Bluprint in January 2019 now it has gone back to the name Craftsy, all my details and account have all been wiped, the funny this is that i can still log in but the courses i paid for is gone.

Sooo many classes. Sooo many subjects. I love to sketch and paint in water colours - no shortage of inspiration!!

I have been a premium member of crafty for many years. I mostly follow the quilting classes, but I appreciate the wide variety of other classes on offer as well. The instructors are experts in their field, and the classes are always well made. The instruction materials are detailed and clear. As a premium member, I am able to repeat the videos as often as I like, and I am able to download the patterns as well, all without having to purchase them. Craftsy is value for money, and I highly recommend becoming a premium member.

As most of the people here report, I got the extremely cheap annual subscription. I checked a couple of videos out and forgot all about it. On its annual anniversary, they claim that they have sent a reminder for the upcoming charge, which I didn’t see or notice ( not 100% sure). I wasn’t worried though, as I always use a reloadable card for subscriptions, just in case… the card had zero balance . To my absolute surprise, a charge took place with non sufficient funds , something that has never happened before in my many years if online experience. The moment I noticed it, I cancelled my subscription and asked for a refund, which was given after a couple of reminders. The problem is that due to the currency difference (usd/euro), I was charged an extra 10 dollars/8 euros for the transaction. When I contacted my bank (in which I also work!), I was informed that the transaction should never had taken place, if the company had asked for approval through the usual banking route. How is this legal anyways? I have experienced such cases before, and there is always a message for insufficient funds. This is a gravelly serious matter.. I consider company’s tactics really suspicious and I urge all of you to be aware. Oh and yes, I have contacted them again, they don’t answer how they made this possible, or refund the extra charges.

I signed up, like others, during an offer period last year when the cost was very low (about £3). On 23rd April 2025, £197 was taken from my account. This was nine days before the auto renewal date of 2nd May, and I did not receive an email to forewarn me of this. If I'd known, I would have immediately switched off auto renewal.

Their published refund policy is as follows:
"How do I cancel my membership and what is your refund policy?

If for any reason you want to cancel your membership, please contact us by email at [address redacted], or by phone at 1-888-891-7203 or you can go directly to your account online.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied within the first 30 days of your paid Annual Membership, we will refund 100% of your membership fee no questions asked. After 30 days we will refund your membership fee on a pro-rated basis. There are no refunds on Monthly Memberships.

To obtain a refund during a current annual term, please contact us by email at [address redacted] or by phone at 1-888-891-7203."

I was happy to see this, and thought the process would be easy, but my emails to this address are simply being ignored, and I don't have any real hope of getting that money back.

Do not sign up for the offer unless you are certain you will remember to cancel the auto renewal if you find you don't use the service enough.

The actual videos seem good, although there is some repetition of material. I didn't watch enough to really be able to review them, which is why I wanted to cancel my membership.

Little of the content is available on mobile despite being advertised as also available on mobile.

The courses are of a wide variety but because if that most are beginner courses or very niche. Many topics are covered many times by different people- not really adding much. Haven't found much of interest because of that.

Great content. Classes are very in-depth and you are walked through each step. I have learned so much since joining Craftsy. There is nothing I wouldn’t try now.

Just horrible!!!!! Created an account to just check what it was about and now all it does is spamming NON STOP. Blocking and unsubscribing from the emails does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and the costumer service is just AS BAD!! There is no option to delete the account and costumer services DO NOTHING about it! Don't install and dont subscribe, it will make you crazy! And you will have to create a new email do you dont get insane with their SPAM!!!

The content I have used has been extremely well presented, was interesting, informative and very enjoyable. I have watched mainly textile-related content. I have been able to advance my knowledge about things like dyeing cloth and yarn, and to be able to go on and confidently do these things with excellent results.

They are scammers, and their customer services are rubbish!!!! I signed up in 2021 for $3.00 US (and I never used their services) no communication nothing, for 4 whole years. And I get a MASSIVE bill of $197.77!!!!! Out of the blue! But that isn't the worst part, the worst part is that they somehow managed to get use my credit details from a credit card that expired in 2023!!! I would love for them to explain that!! Another thing, on my Bank transaction information the letters, "PP" was present, I contacted my bank and they agreed with me that the "PP" indeed meant PayPal and again I did not give these people my PayPal details!!! Do beware of these scammers Please!!!!

how many times Im supposed to cancel your bloody subscription? i unsubscribed my email address at least 10 times now and still keep getting your spam. how long more?

I'm not ringing anyone. I live in Europe and I expect that I don't have to ring US numbers and pay insane money to do something what supposed to be easy. why can't I just click unsubscribe from all your mailing and you leave me alone?

I’ve subscribed to Craftsy for years, and wouldn’t be without it; I use it mainly for knitting, and return often to my brilliant Andrea Wong Portuguese knitting classes whenever I need to refresh my memory on something particularly. I’ve used other knitting classes too, since all is possible in Portuguese knitting if you have as good a foundation grounding as Andrea gives you. Lalla Ward (aka Sarah)
