Go Giftcard Arvostelua 

DO NOT ever buy a go gift card for anyone. It is the worst. My friend got us this card as we were in the middle of selling our house. Closing date was set. Our stuff already moved to our new location. So she was trying to help us at least eat. So we used it at a Cracker Barrel. Left a cash tip for the waitress. Find out when checking out the card automatically takes 20% out. Not sure who got the 20% from the card. If it was the waitress she just got a 40% tip. If the card company took it, shame on them. Our friend already paid for the card and now they take 20% off the balance. I still have a balance on the card because our friend was very generous. But now I know they will automatically take 20% off that as well. So instead of 100.00 worth we are getting 80.00 dollars worth. So my friend got shorted for what she spent. Who gets the 20%? NEVER NEVER buy a Go Gift card. Cracker Barrel was no help either.

I have two gift cards which I tried to use at Outback in Island Park NY. They refused them stating that I should contact GoGiftcsrd and have them send me Outback gift cards
Needless to say it cost me 97.57 out of pocket and I never had to deal with something like this before. Happy I had a credit card with me.
Please advise how to resolve this or was Outback correct. I find it to be unreasonable if that is the case

I bought a GO Shop gift card at a local grocery store and when I went to use it at one of merchants listed on the card (Macy's), it wasn't recognized by their system. We tried the mag strip and the bar code 3 or 4 times to no avail. I ended up using another form of payment. I called the number on the card, which is also listed on their website as the number to talk to a representative. There was no option in the menu system to talk to a person. I tried "0" which has been an standard fallback to by pass a menu system for years, but it just kept repeating the same menu. They obviously don't really want to talk to you! I finally hit the option for a stolen card and after waiting on hold for 25 minutes, I got a person! Pretty sure she was in India, I didn't ask, it really doesn't matter, but it all of the scams originating from there, it throws up a caution flag to me. I asked her who she worked for and after a hesitation, she told me InComm Financial Services, which was correct. I then made the mistake of of explaining the issue before her script was ready for it and ended up having to repeat everything 2 or 3 times. Finally, she actually tried to start addressing the problem and suggested that the mag strip was damaged. I explained that it had just been removed from it's packaging and the strip look fine, so after trying it several times, the clerk scanned he bar code and that none of that worked. She then said that e should have used the chip reader even after I explained that it had no chip.
All she could do was tell me the balance and that it was active, all of which was readily available on the website. She obviously didn't have the tools or training to research the problem. She also said there was no one else to transfer me to and offered to replace the card since it was damaged. It wasn't, but I finally gave in gave her my mailing address so she could send another card, since that seemed all that she was capable of.

I apologized profusely for my attitude and asked her to please pass my complaints to the company. She said she would, but I doubt she even had the ability to do so.
In summary, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service! Poorly trained customer service people and seemingly no way to pass the call to anyone else. That tells me that InComm Financial Servies and Go-Giftcards really don't care about customer service and only do the bare minimum.

I never did find out if the problem was the card or Macy's since customer service lacked the tools and other avenues to find out.
