Communication within this company needs an urgent overall!
The door I ordered was meant to be delivered on 28th August. It did not arrive on that date. I learned that unbeknown to me the driver had attempted to deliver it, but to my next door neighbour. This was despite me having confirmed my address and mobile number with Global Door.
I was informed that a new delivery date could not be arranged until one week later (4th Sep). This delay was most inconvenient for me. Prior to it I confirmed with Global that the driver would have my correct address and my mobile number which he would call prior to delivery or if there was any problem.
On the 3rd Sep I had a call from Global support that delivery to me would take place the next day as arranged and would likely be around 11.30am.
Guess what!
On the morning of the 4th Sep at around 10.30, I happened to glance out of my window to see a van pull up outside my neighbour's house. I went outside to intercept the driver and speak to him. He had come to deliver the door, but still had the address for my neighbour and had no knowledge of my mobile number. He also explained that he did not call in advance of deliveries, as I had been been lead to believe.
A total shambles! By chance only I got my door, which I have to say is of excellent quality.

First of all, please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you have encountered with your order, and to hear you have been dissatisfied with the service you have recieved.
Please be assured this is not the normal level of service with from our deliveries with this manufacturer. Our customer service manager has recently to explain how the delivery went wrong. directly however
I have further shared her feedback below.
Initially, when your order was placed, there was a typo which put your address as number 14, We corrected this with the manufacturer and on our system but the new delivery system introduced this year did not update through to the delivery department so your delivery was attempted to the incorrect address. This has only been identified after your initial failed delivery. We will continue to work with the manufacturer to streamline these issues as the last thing we want is dissatisfied customers. It does not benefit you nor us.
In addition to this, a call prior to the driver arriving is not always guaranteed now on the new delivery process. Some drivers do call (mainly drivers that have worked in dispatch for some time) but some do not, (Not all drivers have hands-free), the inconsistency is something we are speaking to the manufacturer about in the hope of providing a much better service.
Again, we apologise for this situation, but ultimately we are pleased you are happy with your product and we appreciate your patience whilst looking in to resolving potential delivery issues.

The company, Martindales that are used were prompt and professional. Cleaned and removed all rubbish and the old door and frame. No hesitancy in recommending Global Door and their fitters

I take 5 star review back as I have already experienced an issue with the door.? The weather strip has fallen off the doors within 3 weeks, customer service have told me this is wear and tear ! After only 3 weeks!'. They refused to send an engineer insisting I should refit the strip myself. Not a good start!!

Hi Tahir,
I'm sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the service you received when reporting your drip had fallen off.
I have seen this happen if the drip bar has been stood on or caught on something entering the home, such as a pushchair, sofa etc, which can lead to the drip bar coming out of place / detached.
Drip bars are not covered under the terms of your guarantee as they can be knocked, which is why we would not send out installers to refit this for you.
The bar should simply slide back into place and remain in place, provided it is not knocked. If you still have difficulties, please do send over some images or a video, and we will happily take a look at this for you.

Good looking door but nationwide delivery was misleading
Door looks, feels good and sturdy and well made. Really good customer service, Jacob was very helpful. Only unfortunate bit I would have to say is the delivery. They say it's nationwide but didn't deliver to my area in Scotland, I had to sort a second courier from Dundee to deliver the door, funny but is they actually drove past my area to get to Dundee to drop the door off. I don't think it's fair to give it a star less as it's the actual door that you should be reviewing. Will definitely be referring to others.

Due to the excellent price, almost half of other main door manufacturers I was a little bit dubious.
However the door arrived in a a excellent timescale compared to others estimated delivery times , great delivery guys, and the door is exactly what I ordered.
Would without doubt recommend and will use Global Doors in the future. Great value for money.
