A wee bit of Scotland, wherever you are! Gillian Kyle is an independent Scottish design brand creating colourful, quirky and characterful Scottish gifts, homeware and art. Inspired by Scotland's culture, humour, heritage and much-loved everyday icons, our designs are all about celebrating the things that make Scotland special – with a healthy dose of nostalgia and a cheeky wee twist. Founded by Scottish designer Gillian Kyle, our collection brings together original illustrations, bold colours and playful designs to create gifts and home accessories that are a little bit different. From Scottish mugs, tea towels and tote bags to cushions, coasters, art prints and more, everything starts with Gillian's own unique designs. We're especially well known for our officially licensed Tunnock's and IRN-BRU collections, celebrating two of Scotland's most iconic and much-loved brands. But there's plenty more to discover, with designs inspired by Scottish food, culture, places and traditions. Whether you're looking for a unique Scottish birthday present, a wee housewarming gift, a special Christmas present or a little reminder of home for a Scot living abroad, we hope you'll find something to make you smile. Our Scottish gifts are perfect for proud Scots, Scottish expats, lovers of Scottish culture and anyone who appreciates colourful, original design. We love the idea of our products travelling far and wide, bringing a little bit of Scotland into homes around the world. We're a tiny, two-person family business, and we care deeply about the products we create and the people who buy them. We believe in making lovely things that last, rather than throwaway products destined for landfill. Wherever possible, we work with manufacturers in Scotland and the UK, prioritising quality, thoughtful production and reducing unnecessary waste and packaging. Most importantly, we're absolutely passionate about customer service. As you'll hopefully see from our reviews, we genuinely care about every single customer and always go the extra mile to make shopping with us a lovely experience. From helping you choose the perfect gift to making sure any problems are sorted quickly and fairly, we want everyone who buys from us to feel valued and looked after. Being a small family business means we can offer a truly personal, friendly service, and that's something we're very proud of. Every order means a great deal to us. Whether you're treating yourself, finding the perfect Scottish gift or sending a little piece of home to someone you love, we're delighted you're here. Great looking product, quick delivery.
The tin arrived nice and quick, thanks, Gillian. It received its first batch of "Caramels" immediately (2 x 8-packs), and they fitted nicely. Nice to have a tidy stock in a bright tin on my shelf.

Excellent quality, original logo
It was easy to order the mugs. They came in about 2 days and were well wrapped. The mugs were the best quality as was the logos applied to the outside. They are well worth the price and are definitely good value. They are of such good quality they will last forever. I will be buying more in the near future.

Tunnocks biscuit tin
Excellent product and just what we wanted. The order process was simple and we received an immediate acknowledgement together with a nice letter saying hello and a little story of the company. Thought that was a nice and personal touch. The item was well packaged and the delivery was prompt. All in all, excellent customer service.

Expensive
When I ordered it I thought the tin would have the Tunnock wafers in but no, £15 for an empty tin. Wouldn’t recommend.

Vastaus yritykseltä gilliankyle.com
Hi Lynne, I’m sorry you were disappointed. We do try to make it very clear on the product page that our tins are sold empty and don’t contain Tunnock’s biscuits, as we’d never want anyone to order expecting otherwise.
Unfortunately, as a tiny two-person design business, we don’t have the food storage and handling facilities needed to sell biscuits ourselves (and posting chocolate biscuits brings its own problems too!).
We appreciate that £15 isn’t cheap for a tin. Our products feature my original designs and are produced in much smaller quantities than the mass-produced tins you’ll find in supermarkets, so unfortunately we simply don’t have the same economies of scale.
The tin is designed to be filled with Tunnock’s goodies, though, so you can add your own favourites and make it into a lovely gift. I’m sorry again that it wasn’t what you were expecting.
Gillian
