I purchased the newsboy in black and was very happy with my choice. Well crafted and a good fit. Would buy it again.

Beautifully made, and makes me look far more dapper than I have any right to be, but I will make my best effort to be worthy of it.

I received the Herringbone Wool Blend Tucson cap yesterday and I found the quality of the workmanship exceptional. I can tell that this cap will last years. You cannot go wrong ordering a cap from George.

I saw your ad in my Facebook feed. I don't know why it showed up, but I checked it out. The caps looked cool and the price was right, so I bought one. When I came, I liked it; it seemed well made and it fit. So, I bought another in a different color. But here's the thing: How do I know that George's Caps is real? For all I know, the whole thing could be an AI-generated fake. That doesn't make the caps bad or make me regret buying them. It just makes me a bit sad.

Wasn’t expecting the quality to be this good for the price. Super comfortable and stylish. Already thinking about buying a second one.

I had ordered three caps. The order was confirmed on the 30th of April. The package finally arrived on the 15th May evening.
I travelled early next morning and returned only on the 18th night. Then checked out the package. The caps were nicely packed.
They surely were well worth the wait. I would have made a repeat order for a couple more but I am travelling back home overseas on the 3rd of June.
Do you send overseas? If yes, I would order once home.
One thing is a bit disappointing; a little logo on the back of the caps would have been nice. We are all so used to having having labels with cute little animals displayed on our chests.
Seems strange why you do not do this nor put a little tag as to where the caps were made.
The business closing down story is bittersweet but is it only a baited hook?

I normally never leave reviews, but I honestly felt this one deserved it. I ordered a flat cap from George’s caps because I wanted something timeless I could wear casually without it looking cheap or overly trendy. When itarrived the first thing I noticed was the quality of the fabric and how well it was put together. The fit was exactly right and it actually looked even better in person even made my wife happy.

This is a scam. Plain and simple.

Not happy with product and customer service

Bought 2 caps, and like them very much. (One a dark brown leather cap and the other a wool type patchwork cap.) They are very-well crafted and fit well, I love the elastic band that helps with the fit. I am considering buying one or two more. What I really appreciated about George was his very timely and kind responses whenever I reached out to him by email. Have a blessed retirement Mr. George!

Well, there was a problem with my original order due to size. I notified George and was made an amazing offer to keep my first choice and George would give me 2 caps
of my choosing for just the shipping! I now have 2 adjustable caps that fit perfectly. Never have I been given such a Great Deal with prompt delivery. and friendly email resolution. Thanks George and BLESS YOU in your retirement.

I've worn baseball caps since 1973. I bought a driving cap from Georges Caps and love the different look. They are a comfortable fit because they're adjustable. I went back to the web site and bought four more caps of different colors one of them is a mesh for hot days. The prices are great because he says he is retiring. I hope his family continues so other people can enjoy his caps.

My husband really loves George hat and the story on how he learned from his father that makes them by hand really touched my husband so he ordered and received the hat and loves it.

This is 100% a scam. No doubt in my mind. Here's the letter I wrote to them asking for a refund.

"I request a refund on the two caps I ordered. I don’t believe the story – don’t think a man would be in business for almost 40 years and not put a single identifying mark on the hats he’s making. I believe it’s illegal for you to sell a hat that doesn’t identify where it’s made or what it’s made of. I don’t believe this is a cotton hat. If I’m wrong I can live with that – these hat are not worth $30 and never sold for $185."

I was contacted but not to give me info on how to return his product. He wanted me to take pictures of the cap and the labels that he admitted earlier were removed.

Please note that the website “georges-caps.com” was created in Feb of this year.

Another data point. Another reviewer made the assertion that Henry’s Caps was a scam as well. Georges caps responded to say they were not the same. Please look at the trunk that both Henry’s Caps and George’s caps are sitting on and tell me that’s not the same trunk. Also compare Henry’s and George’s return policy.

Update: 5/15
After posting that the return policy and pictures from Henry's caps are EXACTLY the same as George's caps, I found out this morning that Henry's caps (with has a trustpilot score of 1.6) has closed down. Imagine that.

I stand by my opinion - I believe this is a scam. Just because someone responds to negative reviews doesn’t make it any less of a scam.

I ordered a hat off Amazon "Linen Men's Newsboy Flat Cap .8 Panel Ivy Cabbie Hat,Breathable Summer Gatsby Ivy Irish Fishing Hats，Paperboy Hats for Men" for $13.99. It's the same hat - the Amazon hat actually had a tag pinned to it, unlike "George's". Also had the exact same "USA style" button in exactly the same place as "George's". I finally got a refund address - went to Google and it's a pizza restaurant. If I ship it there he can rightly say he didn't get the cap. SCAM! Don't buy it.

Bought 3 caps for husband and when he received them, he loved them so much I bought him three more! They are very well-made and look terrific!
