I have been an engineer for over a decade now and have worked with more than a handful of engineering teams and companies. G2i has been the best experience of my career so far as an engineer.

Everyone from management to HR and recruiting, all the way to my teammates in engineering, have been an absolute gem. G2i has some of the most intelligent and patient engineers I have ever worked with. The organization as a whole is like a big family.

I would highly recommend G2i to anyone that has the pleasure of working or speaking with them.

I recently had a challenging experience with G2i that I want to share professionally and transparently.
After passing their interview process, I was placed into a talent pool. Over time, I began to feel this was mainly a way to build a pool of pre-vetted candidates, which was disappointing. I asked them never to contact me and to stop wasting my time. I left the talent pool.

Later, a recruiter contacted me about a new opportunity. I passed another interview and joined the team.
On day one, the onboarding felt unclear and disorganized. The team seemed uncertain about internal processes and tools, so I asked questions in Slack to get up to speed. The team lead then asked for my GitHub profile and appeared unimpressed. I explained that I had not actively used GitHub since I was junior and that it did not reflect my current experience. I later learned he had built a product that evaluates GitHub profiles and filters candidates based on that data, which likely shaped his impression.
On day two, I noticed the pipeline was failing late on a Friday night. Nearly 50 tests were failing due to timezone issues. Although I was not part of the original application, I spent several hours trying to resolve the issue because I did not want to risk being seen as unproductive.
I fixed the tests and spent the weekend pushing features forward so I could feel confident in my new role.
However, on Monday morning at 6 a.m., I received a message stating that my contract was being terminated due to a “clash in communication and work styles.” When I asked for clarification, I was told there was nothing wrong with my coding, but that my communication style did not align with the team.
Fired in two days. I did not get a meaningful chance to demonstrate my technical ability, and I felt judged on my GitHub profile and communication preferences.
Based on my experience, I would advise anyone considering an offer from G2i to proceed carefully and make sure they have full clarity before leaving a current role.

Quality candidates to review, hired one that has been a great fit, extremely productive and got to first PR in less than a week (2 actually).

I've worked with G2i for a while now, and they have always been consistent on quality candidates. They have worked really well with the way we work, offering flexibility at every stage of the process. Check ins are async, there are no NPS reports or time intensive update calls, just focused on delivering great people in record time. We work with multiple vendors but G2i have become the go to vendor for us. Their portal is very good, again focused on what we care about.

We've used G2i as a provider for a while now, and the experience has been great. The candidates are well vetted, the recorded interviews are generally a very high standard, and every candidate that has joined the team has been a great contributor.
They have also shown great flexibility over time, with incredible response times, and working around quirks in process.

For me was the time I really need support and people give to me. When I talked with the people they helped me, giving support and teaching what to do

The experience its good so far, opportunities are great but the web experience when you look up for jobs its really bad and has a lot of bugs

With the help of g2i I have gotten several interviews and a couple offers, a contract and a full-time direct-hire position within 6 months of working with them.

I see they also work hard to try to engage the community to foster connections or to help others grow professionally. I am not able to participate as much as I would like, but it's nice to see they make the effort to engage the community as much as they do.

The path to working with them includes going through a technical interview that I think was pretty standard, but there are some JavaScript gotchas that I was not familiar with, though that didn't seem to impact me overall.

This is my first time working with a talent agency. They seem to run things well from my perspective, giving people respect, and letting them know of opportunities that align with their skill set. This is why I've gotten the opportunities I have, and I appreciate the support and help over the past several months

Great hiring company. I've been working for over 2 years with them and have had great experiences. Even when the contractor terminates the contract, they try to get a new contract ASAP. They make you feel that you are a part of a community, not just an asset. They try to help you evolve and improve your skills by offering free mentorship and courses.

Totally waste of time, two employees reached me out through LinkedIn with automated private message for Senior Backend Engineering.

They had lack of information related to the position so I respond with few questions where I get additional information and instructions for next step which was one side interview on Hireflix platform.

Video questions were technical about position.

They started spamming me whole weekend on LinkedIn and emails to do video interview as soon as possible since they in hurry.

Once I done it, I inform them nicely and now they are ghosting for weeks.

Common scam agency, do not waste any time.

I have been a member of the G2i community for almost a year now. Their Slack channels are active and always share relevant updates about job openings, tech news and experiences shared by members. Really a great place to share knowledge and keep up-to-date on technology news and trends. The community managers are always there to help us with job applications and anything we need.

I’ve contracted four engineers through this company and have been consistently impressed with their service. Their vetting process is thorough, ensuring I only connect with top-tier talent. What sets them apart is their follow-through — they don’t just connect you with candidates and disappear; they stay involved, checking in regularly and asking how they can improve. They’re not just a funnel for talent, but a genuine partner who supports you throughout the entire process. Highly recommended!
