I have learned more than I thought I would through Freemote. Not only is it a great course, but the mentors and founders really show how much they care about their work!

I've gone through the HTML & CSS Crash Course and just finishing up Project 2. So far it's been great! I'm starting to get my footing with HTML and CSS and have been able to complete the projects before going over their solutions with Aaron. I just received my first code review on my first project from Berk. It was a 17 minute video that reviewed every piece of my code and he provided explanations on what could be written more effectively and why. The only critique I have for Freemote as a whole is providing resources for foundational information regarding software development. If I hadn't completed some of Harvard's CS50 and some projects on freeCodeCamp prior to starting Freemote, I think I would have had a difficult time learning HTML and CSS without the fundamentals I learned from these other resources. Otherwise, I love the program!

The Freemote team provides you everything you need to get freelance or full time work. Aaron and Jan teach the content in a very easy-to-understand way, better than other courses I have taken. The great thing about the content is that they're always adding more useful tutorials and updating the course to change with the times. The Freemote community is also very helpful and positive.

For anyone starting from zero web-dev knowledge (like me), it's important to have realistic expectations about how quickly you can move through the course. One 'week' in the course took me about one month, and I will need to revisit it to make reaffirm the skills. Overall, Freemote is definitely worth the investment.

Freemote has been a great experience. The thing I like most is that they have an actual team that you are working with and that it is results based, they want YOU to try and build your projects before looking into the answers. You submit your code from your projects and they send you a review video and go over your code and help you clean it up. I have a few Udemy classes as well and they are great, but there isn't the same feel to the expectation that you should be building these projects solo rather than following along, and I think Freemote's approach here is a great choice.

It is very important to have a structured learning path when learning anything related to software because things get really confusing and chaotic at times. Freemote provides this organized path with a knowledgeable team, I am glad I came across this program and I am happy with the progress I am making

Free mote is the best course I have taken in my entire. Let me explain. This course provides enough information to take you from a un experienced web developer to a profitable freelance web developer. It teaches you knowledge in coding, Shopify development, business skills, communication skills, and more. Way better than any college course I heard. I salute Aaron and the rest of the staff that makes this course work.

There was an opportunity for me to join a well known
web development program after I graduated high school in 2012. I chose to work 9-5s and long story short ended up working harder than I had to which made me want to change the way I work.

I thought it was too late and I'd be stuck with dead end jobs. I ended up casually doing Web Development in 2019 for fun and just didn't have the time to continue. That was until life happened and I was able to take my Development Career more seriously.

I found Freemote after searching and comparing bootcamps that I'd find all over the internet, the pricing and community were just too good to pass up so I took the leap of faith. It wasn't just faith in the program, but also faith in my ability to learn what's presented to me.

This program is a life saver! The hosts are very helpful, they make sure not to leave any details out and always make updates/add new content to make sure each and every up and coming developer succeeds.

I'm now on the hunt for jobs as a Freelance Developer and I wouldn't have got where I am without the bootcamp. Thank you Freemote Crew and as a member of this amazing/supportive community I'd like to welcome anyone whose interested in starting their new Career with us!

This program is very detailed, and the mentors are very interactive on your progress. I highly recommend it if you are dedicated and committed to it

I approached taking this course with trepidation as I had the impression it was stripped down or basic. I was wrong. I have graduated from a boot camp and have some coding experience and this is challenging. It also brings the "real world" element into play.

Truly LIFE CHANGING ! I came into the program with no coding or development knowledge. I hit it hard for about a month and a half and from there I was already taking jobs on Upwork. My favorite part of this program is that they don't only teach you how to become a web developer, but they also teach you how to find good jobs and how to land them on Upwork. They even teach you how to find client outside of Upwork (the 20% fee they keep is a bit steep). After about 3 months of actually working on this, I am making about $3000 a month. I know it's not a lot but I am consistently increasing my hourly wage. I just bumped it up to $60/hour and am finding clients. I am coming to a point where I am going to start reaching out to non-shopify store owners directly and convert them to shopify. My goal is to start delegating this work to other devs (hopefully other alumni) and slowly begin building an agency.

This has all been thanks to the amazing material. It is great when you first go through it, but the gold for me is that I can go back and cherry pick the topics that pertain to a particular job and immediately look and sound like an expert to my clients, even though it's most often my first time.

The Facebook community is also a gem. Anytime I get stuck, either I find the answer already there or I can post my question. It's full of great kind folks who help fast.

If you have the time, and are serious about becoming a PAID developer FAST, without investing $20k, I believe this is the best vehicle on the market.

Burke is clear concise and gives excellent critique. My first code review in the Freemote process shed amazing light upon what I need to work on with code language. The Freemote Program shows not only how to learn tech development while also prompting professional cues with smooth transition from student learning to challenging me to become a great professional web developer.

Super great if you are truly committed to take advantage of all of their features and offerings. The instructors are great, the content is engaging and the projects are really fun. As with any learning experience you will get out of it what you put in! So if you’re serious about this, then this could be the change you’re looking for.

Freemote has been great so far. I just finished week 4! All of the mentors have been fantastic, always there if you have a question! I feel very confident that I can build a website for a client now and get paid to do it. Would not be able to do this if it wasn’t for Freemote! Thank you so much! There’s a ton of value in this program! Thank you so much.

Freemote has been really helpful. I learn fast from video. The projects, test, then solution help. I go back to test to see how much I have grown. The freelance week helps a lot with options for jobs, interviews, storing information for jobs and communicating.

Great program!
I joined the course recently, but I can already say I absolutely love it! I can feel that the Freemote team is very confident and has a lot of experience. I can feel more and more confidence in myself every day. It is much easier for me to apply web development concepts with the help of Freemote and it helps me to organize myself and build the correct work habits based on best practices. All my problems get resolved clearly and with thorough explanations. Comparing Freemote with other boot camps I previously took, I can tell that Freemote is definitely one of the most organized, well defined and structured ones. Great content, great team, great course. Highly recommend it to everyone!

So far so good.

I am glad Freemote breaks up the instruction and especially the coding projects into small tasks with still a lot of "hand-holding" at this stage.

I had virtually no coding experience before starting. I may, however, be an outlier as far as how long the boot camp actually takes even for a beginner.

I am just starting the second project - the first one took me 55 hours to get through. Overall to get through the first 79 instructional segments (out of 411) it has taken me 155 hours since I started in OCT2021.

They say I should follow my own pace, which I definitely am doing! I do a lot of note taking and generally trying to make sure I understand what I'm doing, not just hurrying to mark videos and projects completed.

Still, I may be taking the go-at-my-own-pace approach too far. At this rate I estimate it will take me about 400 hours total to finish from the beginning of the boot camp thru week 4, which I believe is when you're supposed to be totally spun up to get your first freelancing jobs.

This course has saved me from the headache of trying to figure out how to properly apply all the web development concepts I've learned over the years. Aaron gives the most dense but concise explanations for important concepts that I’ve ever come across. And best of all, there’s a dedicated team of mentors that are available to coach you through whatever problems you may come across. This coupled with the online community of other students helping and learning from one another has to be the greatest asset from this program. It feels like there’s enough support to ensure that you don’t fall short, while at the same time presenting you with legitimately challenging assignments that you will learn from in relatively short period of time. I couldn’t endorse it enough!

So far this course has been INCREDIBLE! I have taken a TON of different online courses both fully available ones and drip-fed content courses and this one is definitely top-tier!

I'm only in the 1st week of content, so I can't speak to where I personally will be in the future but I cannot see any reason why someone wouldn't be successful from taking this course even within just this first "week" of content. I say "week" because it may take some longer than a week to complete the videos and projects included due to time constraints and learning speeds.

Also, the various avenues for feedback and support are integral to students' success!
